Why is it that nobody is asking questions? Is it because nobody is good at maths in the whole Nigeria or is it just a share cowardice? This is indeed pathetic. This time, am not talking about the fact that Mr. Buhari have a WAEC certificate (which is questionable) or not, i am talking about the fact that he could not have read up to SS3 level at age 11.

This is an eye opener and am surprised nobody has been able to figure this out. I mean, is as questionable as anything. For one to employ the services of 15 SANs instead of providing his WAEC certificate, it is sure as questionable as hell.

Anyway, the issues is that Buhari celebrated his 74th birthday on the 17th of December, 2016, he was born in 17th December, 1942. We were made to understand that his WAEC certificate was issued in the year 1953. Then when you calculate from 1953 to 2016, it gives you 63yrs. Then 74yrs (Present age) - 63yrs (from when waec was obtained), it gives us 11 years old.

Does this mean that President Muhammadu Buhari obtained his waec certificate aged 11?

Fresh from the attack in Zenith Bank, Zaria, where a policeman attached to the bank opened fire on one of his fellow officer, killing him and 6 other civilians, click here if you missed the news, another trigger happy policeman attached to NNPC in Owerri the Imo State capital, have again murdered a civilian in what is called a very brutal killing ever known in Imo State.

An eye witness account is as bellow...

A young man who goes by the name Eto had been shot dead by a police patrol attached to the NNPC fuel station in Owerri. Eto was reported to have had misunderstanding with one of the pump attendants, which led him to slap the attendant, and a little scene was caused at the fuel station, in which in the process, his phone was stolen.

His friend had advised he ignore the stolen phone, with a promise to get him another phone as they made their way to leave by car, only for the fuel station manager to order the resident policeman to bar them from leaving. While she called on the police patrol team, Eto had started to zoom off by car- the resident policeman who shot him twice from behind, ramming into a parked car at the fuel station.

That is how this guy was done that day.

Born in Lahadin Makole village in Kano, when Rahma was six months, her arms and legs stopped developing. From six months when she learnt how to sit that was when it began. She didn’t learn how to crawl.” her mother Fadi said.

For much of her life, Rahma’s family would carry her in her bowl, with her brother Fahad taking her into Kano each day to beg for alms. Later, a journalist Ibrahim Jirgi, gave the family a wheelchair. Despite her severe disability, Rahma had entrepreneurial ambition.

A white man whose nationality is yet to be disclosed, was arrested inside Sambisa Forest as Nigerian troops cleared Boko Haram insurgents out of their last fortress on Thursday. “The man is under custody and providing positive information”, said a soldier, who just returned to Maiduguri from the liberated forest.

According to Daily Trust on Sunday said the soldier said while hundreds of Boko Haram fighters were killed during the offensive that began about a month ago, many others were captured alive while attempting to flee. “Hundreds of Boko Haram captives, including men, women and children have been freed and taken to safety.

“All I can tell you is that no big Boko Haram commander is alive in the Sambisa; we are in control of the forest. “It took months of planning and mapping because of the size, difficult weather and other factors in the Sambisa Forest.” The source said that one of the major factors that delayed the takeover of the insurgents’ hideout was the thousands of people, including those living in villages around the vast forest that were being held as human shield by the Boko Haram leaders.

It was gathered that the 4,200 troops were deployed to the Sambisa Forest through various fronts, including Ngurosoye, Konduga/Aulari, Bama, Fulka and Damboa. “The 151 Battalion of the Nigerian Army advanced into Sambisa through the Banki-Darul Jamal axis, the 27 Battalion advanced through Mafa, the 152 Battalion advanced through Pulka, while the 222 Battalion approached the dreaded forest through the Maiduguri axis,” another soldier, who participated in the operation, said.

Magnitude 7.6 earthquake hit Chile on Christmas day forcing thousands of people to relocate following the alert of another Tsunami. The quake struck at 14:22 GMT on the island of Chiloe, about 40km (25 miles) south-west of Quellon, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.

No casualties have been reported. Some 4,000 people were evacuated. It hit an area of Chile known for tourism. Some roads and bridges were affected but damage appeared to be limited.

The quake's depth was about 34km, according to the USGS.

Chile's national emergency services office had initially issued an alert and ordered the evacuation of coastal areas of Los Lagos region.

Hijackers who forced a Libyan plane to fly to Malta by threatening to detonate hand grenades they had smuggled on board allowed all passengers and most crew to leave the aircraft hours after landing, but kept a few people as hostages.

The Airbus A320, operated by the state-owned airline Afriqiyah Airways, was hijacked on an internal route between the cities of Sabha and Tripoli. There were 118 passengers and crew on board, with one Libyan law-maker named as Abdel-Salam al-Marabet reported on the passenger list.

Most were released without the hijackers demands being made public. Negotiations were underway by early afternoon, and the first releases were announced soon after Muscat spoke to his Libyan counterpart Faez al Serraj.

After detailing the release of 109 passengers, and most crew, Muscat then said “potentially two hijackers and some crew members still on board”. Although some recent hijackings have been carried out by pilots, numbers given by Muscat implied the two men had boarded as passengers.

The plane had initially flown towards Malta, which lies only 350 kilometres north of Tripoli, headed back towards Libya and then returned to land in Malta, an official from Afriqiyah Airways said.


The pilot had tried to persuade the hijackers to land in Libya, Reuters quoted a security source at the main airport saying, but they refused.

“The pilot reported to the control tower in Tripoli that they were being hijacked, then they lost communication with him,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity. “The pilot tried very hard to have them land at the correct destination but they refused.”

All flights to and from Malta’s airport had been cancelled or diverted, and security forces gathered near the plane, which sat on the runway with engines still running long after it landed.

Muscat had earlier said security and emergency operations were on standby. The Maltese president, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, appealed for calm.

Malta lies only 350km north of Tripoli, and even closer to Tunisia, and has been a destination for hijackers before.

In 1985 an EgyptAir flight from Athens to Cairo was forced to land in Malta, where a 24-hour ordeal ended with the death of 60 hostages, many killed when Egyptian commandos stormed the plane in what was considered a botched operation.

A decade earlier the then prime minister Dom Mintoff negotiated a happier conclusion to another hijacking. A KLM flight from Amsterdam to Tokyo was hijacked over Iraqi airspace, then flew to Malta after being refused landing permission anywhere else. Mintoff secured the release of 247 passengers and 8 crew in return for fuel, and the plane headed to Dubai where the remaining hostages were released.

Sequel to Nigeria Customs Service revelation this week regarding the seizure of 102 bags of plastic rice along Ikeja - Lagos State which was shipped into the country by some cartels, the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole in a series of tweets says there is no evidence backing this claim.

This is contradictory and the public do not no what to believe anymore. He says some test carried out by him in the Ministry shows that the rice are not plastic as was earlier speculated.

Justice Adedotun Onibokun of Osun State High Court in Ile-Ife on Wednesday sentenced one Fatai Jimoh and his wife, Lateefat, to death by hanging for murder.

Delivering judgment, Mr. Onibokun said the prosecutor had proven his case beyond any reasonable doubt, saying that the convicts were guilty of the three-count charge of murder, conspiracy and armed robbery.

The judge consequently sentenced the couple to death by hanging for the murder of one Bukola Taiwo at Ikeketu Village near Garage Olode in Ife South Local Government Area of Osun on August 12, 2009.

The Prosecutor and State Counsel, Moses Faremi, had earlier told the court that the deceased was strangulated by the couple in her rented room and her head was smashed with a sledge hammer.
He said that after killing the deceased, who was a palm oil seller from Ibadan, the convicts stole her wallet containing the sum of N48,780.

Mr. Faremi said the offence was contrary to Section (1) 316 Law of Osun State and the Robbery and Firearms (special provision) Act, Cap R11 Law of Federation of Nigeria 2000.

The convicts were arraigned on a three-count charge of murder, conspiracy and armed robbery
