GoTV:Saraki maybe greedy and foolish in some ways but the truth is, even Machiavelli time did had an end. No matter how smart u r, since in politics you must align to a party or at least an ideology, their is always tendency that someday, people will vote against you. I remove my cap for Saraki, he is clever and he knows how to play politics. Buhari and all APC tried to remove him the way they removed CJN, which is unconstitutional, but instead of playing legality and illegality, he played politics on them all and won. All you people supporting Buhari, I pray his agenda favors you and your family when he starts it overtly. The once we are seeing is atleast done in subtlety. Anyway, is a big loss for Saraki and Akpabio. But this is politics. |

I’m excited as well as pained writing this interesting piece. Knowing that an average citizen of Nigeria like to blame the political elites in whatever is happening in the economy, I think most of those blames should be accorded to 90% of the citizens. We are indeed our own problem. I encountered an interesting situation yesterday when I was going to Ajah – Island, Lagos. I boarded a bus in CMS, all those “green and white buses” (just for those who haven’t been to Lagos Island before..lol), Lagos State banned all those normal “Yellow Damfo” Mainland buses from entering Island. They normally collect N250 from CMS to Ajah but this time, they insisted on N300. As you may imagine, and a lawless country like naija, we had no other option than to enter the bus, moreover, the sun is already setting and time is of essence. We left around 6:30 pm and the traffic was “mad” so much so that we got to Ajah around 10pm. If you know, you know. That is not even what I want to talk about. I want to talk about the conductor and the driver. When we got to Marwa junction and to Sand-field, the conductor began to shout all other junctions and none of the passengers responded to him. We passed Lekki Phase 1 and he was still shouting other junctions and yet, none of the passengers responded. When we now got to Igboefon and nobody alighted from the bus, the conductor began to “para” (getting agitated). He started saying and I quote: “watin dey happen self, I no understand these passengers o, We no carry charter oo We no carry charter here oooooo We no carry charter ooooooooooo I was worried cuz I don’t understand the conductor again and his noise is getting too much. So I told driver to control his conductor now. Before the driver could respond to me, a passenger now told me what is really eating the conductor up. Fellow passenger said; Don’t mind the idiot, he is pained because nobody have alighted the bus yet so that he can carry other people on the road before he reach Ajah to make more money. Hahahahahahha, I burst into laughter and like a former street naija guy, (you can take a man off the street, but you can’t take the streets off a man) I began to torment the conductor; so you collect Ajah money from us and you wan make we come down for road before you reach abi, so that you go carry another passengers and make more money ba? Ntoor, hahahah. He became crazier as we approach Chevron and yet nobody don come down. Now I ask myself, what is wrong with Nigeria and Nigerians? Is it that things are not meant to be followed accordingly in Nigeria? How can a conductor collect money from its passengers from CMS to Ajah and yet expect the person to come down before he or she reaches his or her destination? It doesn’t make sense at all. That is greediness. During December 2018, around 23rd to 29th, this same bus people were charging people N600 from Ajah to CMS and N700 from CMS to Ajah. This is outrageous. There was no single cue in the filling stations, no fuel scarcity, no fuel increment and yet they increased their transport fair. I think we should look at ourselves and ask this question; Is the government really our problem or are we a part of our problem. I mean, my girlfriend called me this morning and said she wants to come weekend and I said “by all means” but I also told her I will have to go and cast my vote on Saturday o. She said I can’t leave her alone in the house that Saturday and told me to choose between her coming around and going to vote. I know what you are thinking but guess what, I didn’t choose her, and I chose voting. I told her voting was just for a day and her on the other hand, I will be seeing for years. She hanged up. It seems am dumped….lol. Again, we are part of the problem. Have a lovely day guys. More @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2019/02/my-experience-entering-cms-to-ajah-bus.html?m=1

Death For Ballot Box Snatchers - INEC Disagrees With Buhari " Law Must Be Adhere To The Nigerian election umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has disagreed with President Muhammadu Buhari over his order to security forces to kill ballot box snatchers during the February 23rd presidential and National Assembly elections. PMB, who is the incumbent president as well as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress had at a meeting with the APC leaders, on Monday, said anyone who snatched ballot boxes would pay for it with his life, adding that he had given orders to security agents to be ruthless with such people. He his exact words during the meeting; “I am going to warn anybody who thinks he has enough influence in his locality to lead a body of thugs, snatch ballot boxes or to disturb the voting system, he will do it at the expense of his own life.” However, the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, said at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, that the commission would stand by the Electoral Act which “states that persons who snatch election materials are liable to a prison term of two years or maximum fine of N500, 000.” Responding to Buhari’s comment, the INEC chairman said, “The position of the commission is that all violators of the Electoral Act should be punished according to the provisions of the Electoral Act.” more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2019/02/death-for-ballot-box-snatchers-inec.html?m=1 cc mynd44 lalasticlala missyb3 obinoscopy

The former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo saturday asked the Igbo leaders across the federation to remain focused and united, saying the All Progressives Congress (APC) would not honour its promise to hand over presidency to an Igbo indigene in 2023. Consequently, Obasanjo urged the Igbo not to allow any person from any part of the country relegate them to the background, noting that the Igbo occupied a place of preeminence in the emergence of Nigeria. He gave the warning at a stakeholders meeting held at the residence of former Minister of Aviation, Chief Mbazuluke Amechi in Ukpor Nnewi South Local Government Area, Anambra State yesterday. At the meeting, Obasanjo urged the Igbo to bury all their differences and work together for the actualisation of the Atiku Abubakar/Peter Obi candidature, which he said, was in the best interest of Nigeria and Nigerians. He, particularly, urged Atiku’s running mate “to reach out to Mbazuluke Amechi and other eminent personalities in Igbo land to drum support for his candidature.” Obasanjo equally, said the Igbo should be weary of the promise of the APC government to hand over power to them in 2023, noting that it was dangerous to take the APC government seriously. He, therefore, prayed for a successful outing for Atiku and Obi in the 2019 presidential election, tasking them to do the right thing for Nigeria and Nigerians if eventually elected. He observed that Obi and his principal “have great work to do for Nigeria,” noting that they “have become a beacon of hope to all Nigerians who have had it so rough in the last four years. “It is incumbent on Obi to think out of the box to take the nation out of the woods caused by incumbent clueless administrators. With Obi’s pedigree as a governor, he was hopeful that things will work for Nigeria under his leadership as vice president of the country. In his address, Amechi described Obi as good man and his principal the country needed at a time like this. Among others, the meeting was attended by Obi, former Minister of Power, Chief Barth Nnaji, former Minister of Health, Prof. ABC Nwosu, former Imo State Governor, Mr. Ikedi Ohakim, member of National Assembly, Hon. Chris Azubogu and Chairman, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, Chief Innocent Chukwuma. At a session with journalists after the meetings, the vice president candidate of the PDP assured Nigerians that his principal Abubakar Atiku and himself would not let the nation down. Obasanjo, Obi and dignitaries later went to unveil the statue of the former aviation minister built by the Ukpor community in honor of Dara Amaechi. Most times, the symptoms of diabetes differs but if you feel tired, hungry and excessively thirsty all the time, or you experience blurred vision or a tingling in the feet, or you lost weight, frequently visited the toilet to urinate, chances are you could be suffering from diabetes. Diabetes occurs when your body is unable to break down glucose into energy. This is because there is either not enough insulin (produced by the pancreas) to break down the glucose, or the insulin produced does not work properly. Diabetes is an incurable disease, (though could be managed) but can be hereditary and can lead to other medical complications if not well managed. In 2017, statistics from the World Health Organsation indicates that about 8.8 per cent of the global population had diabetes. That is over 450 million people diagnosed with the disease. Unfortunately, the figure is projected to rise to 9.9 per cent by 2045 making diabetes one of the fastest growing chronic non-communicable diseases in the world. Diabetes has remained one of the leading causes of kidney failure. It also doubles the risk for heart attack or stroke and there is no cure for it. For those already diagnosed with diabetes, it can be treated with insulin, dietary changes, and exercise. However, for those yet to have the disease; here are some things you need to do to prevent it. 1. Know your blood sugar level – Having knowledge of your blood sugar level is very important. In fact, this is the first step to take in preventing or treatment of diabetes. This can be done through professional help by doctors or other certified medical personnel. The test for this is called fasting blood sugar or fasting blood glucose. It measures the estimated level of sugar in the blood at a given time or over a period of time. The test is done in the morning before the person has eaten. The normal range for blood glucose is 70 to 100mg/dl. 2. Eat balanced and healthy diet – Your eating habit is a predisposing factor to having diabetes. There is a need to eat balanced and healthy diet especially vegetables, fruits, roughages or food high in fibre, among others. There is also a need to reduce high intake of carbohydrates food as this converts to sugar when digested. Also reduce fat in your diet especially saturated and trans fat like cakes, cookies bread etc. There is a need to also reduce intake of salt, sugar and alcoholic drinks. Also avoid or minimise processed foods. 3. Exercise regularly/always be active – Do not live a sedentary lifestyle. You need regular exercise. Regular exercise increases the insulin sensitivity of the cells and puts the blood sugar automatically under control. 4. Control your blood pressure – There is a link between blood pressure and diabetes. To reduce the risk of diabetes especially in people with hereditary history of the disease, there is a need to constantly monitor your blood pressure. Most times hypertension and diabetes are conjoined twins. Read more @ http://www.exlinklodge.com/2019/02/today-is-world-diabates-day-these-are-9.html?m=1

Army (ZDF) Bans Officers From Marrying Each Other, Give Ultimatum To Those Already Married Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) has banned serving soldiers and officers from marrying each other and given those already married an ultimatum to comply with the order within 6 months. According to reports, those already married must decide who between should leave the military force in that time and failing to do that, will result in both being fired. ZDF commander General Phillip Sibanda confirmed the so-called Fraternisation Policy in a statement Tuesday. The move is reportedly aimed at addressing “current challenges where officers and non-commissioned members marry and violate the tenets of good order and military discipline”. “The contravention of the Policy will see offenders being prosecuted in Terms of Paragraph 36 (scandalous conduct) of an officer and 37 (disgraceful conduct) of the First Schedule to Reference ‘A’ above,” reads General Sibanda’s statement. “The policy is to be inserted in the Adjutant General Standing Orders. The Policy is with effect from 1 February 2019. “Those who were already married to each other prior to the promulgation of this Policy are given six months from the 1 February to comply with the requirement, failure of which action will be taken in terms of Policy.” Those already married to fellow soldiers must decide who between them would leave the service. “They should decide on who should leave the organisation between each pair and each pair and names of those leaving the organisation as decided by each pair should be submitted to this HQ by 31 March 2019,” said General Sibanda. “Failure to advise this HQ by 31 March 2019 on who should leave the organisation between each pair, Army HQ will assume that both partners have decided to leave and will proceed likewise to discharge both. “Take note the above deadlines only apply to those were already in marriages prior to the promulgation of this policy.” “Otherwise those who will breach the policy after its promulgation will be discharged forthwith according to the policy,” he added. Editor's Note: Is this really a good move? Should Nigeria be advised to take this into consideration? What are your taughts? This life is unpredictable. A whole Senate president feeling funky while gallivanting across the country to form political Don dada has been relegated to oblivion just because of stupid pride and greed. His last hope of political resurrection would have been an Atiku presidency which will never happen. Saraki has become an ordinary Nigerian like you and i in a jiffy all because of a miscalculated defection. No more sirens, armed convoys, no more access to Abuja and kwara treasury. When he colluded with opposition to emerge senate president, he thought he was doing Buhari not knowing he was digging his political grave. Humility and tactfulness is key in politics. Asiwaju has been out of power for over a decade but still relevant and powerful. The overrated pompous saraki whose political sagacity has been about his ability to betray and backstab has been deleted into the trash can of national politics. I hope the Federal government bares it's fangs on saraki and use him as a scapegoat for upcoming dubious charlatans
