,I tell am Online the werey abandon me asap e no even ask if I know where I dey go I sha follow the woman for back reach possap office I enter the office tell the first woman say I wan do biometrics ..she ask me who dey handle am for me?I tell am I do online she quickly pass me go her colleague....the colleague ask me who dey handle am for me..I tell am online .she say make I sitdown ...she say "you will pay for biometrics"I be wan ask am whether na directives from FG?I come remember say I need the document pass FG ..I ask am how much ma??she first confirm the text whey dey my phone. she said 5k I tell am thank you..no vex ma u don talk ur own,pls make I talk my own...she say make I talk I tell am abeg make we split the 5k into 2 ..make I give 3kpa she say I big pass am me I smile tell am say economy big pass me abeg ma she say oya bring the 3kpa .I quickly give am before she change mind...she tell me say I go get am before evening...I still dey obalande,them send me the certificate possap dey fast sha. I no spend reach 20minutes for their office sef

To locate the office:

Once you enter the road from bus stop, police station is to the right. Don't go there and don't attend to any police asking you what you came for. Walk into the compound to the left and opposite the police station. Go straight down to almost the last office having possap or CID written at the entrance. The office just after the last room having air conditioner. All the best


Now to my own process:
Applied very early into the morning of Jun 8th, say 12/1am. Paid some minutes later, surprised to see POSSAP SMS by 11am next day, Jun 9th to come for biometric capture; couldn't make it that day, went on the 10th.

With the info I got here, (incredibly helpful btw), I no look UCHE face ooo; entered First bank fess, to kinda "survey the area," withdrew some cash and 4rm then on to locate "the black gate". So, because there were a string of offices inside, I stopped by to ask a man I saw sitting by a desk, he asked which police officer is handling for me, I said, no online; he then directed me to the office.

At the entrance to the office, one POSSAP woman asked again, I retorted, "online." she gesticulated and directed me to a man.

At the capturing desk, the man said I will pay 5k for capturing & 5k for finger print- if I wanted. Omo, I looked straight-faced at him & boldly told him in my language, don't say that's the amount, say, "plz settle me with something", he smiled.
Long story short, I shaa dashed him 6k for being jovial "and d effort" he made to go get the fingerprints for me. I took my print out and left(which is very optional, just decided to do it, just cause....)Biometrics didn't even take up to 15 mins.
Less than an hour I got back 2 work, I received POSSAP's SMS that my PCC request has been approved, checked my mail and saw the certificate.

P: S: Please, don't use any agent AND don't talk to any police or anyone beckoning on u OR asking random questions, they just want to extort you.

Same method I used when getting my passport, same I used here. No agent used, a lot of money saved.

I believe customers are not always right. Even from the legal point, customers don't have a right to be always right but..CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE BE TREATED RIGHT ALWAYS.

You draw up a perfect line to when a customer is not right but find ways to treat the customer right... The best way of doing this is to really find out what the real complaint or want of the customer is... I usually give this example:

imagine a customer walks into a bank and yells at the caregiver "your mobile app is not working and nothing is working in this bank".. This customers assertion might not be right but your ability to know that the customer is having difficulties operating the app gives you a chance to treat the customer right and problem solved.

@ Repairguru, I don’t know if u repair tabs as well or have an idea of them.
I have issues with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10. 1, model SM T595 precisely.
I washed my hands and a drop of water on my hand touched the screen of the tab, and it went blank, just like that!
Tab still vibrates when plugged to charge and every other thing works fine.
I gave it to a “technician” and he came back with “panel is bad, and panel replacement alone is around 95k.” Tab is just 2 y/o for Pete’s sake! And I have a lot to lose if not repaired soon...

To be candid, i DO NOT feel any graduate of Accounting, Finance, Business Admin and related courses(and some other selected courses), worth their dime in gold, should be jobless. It's only unfortunate i didn't study any of these courses.

That being said, young man, if u are certain of d years of experience of which u claim, a lot of openings in your course of study abound- even specifics in tax, audit and general accounting (and going by what u said, u have the required experience in same). Judging by your years of experience, u shouldn't be off d job market for too long, infact, u shouldn't be 'begging' for a job!

It would also interest you to note that some HR persons would capitalize on your plea as an opportunity to pay you lower than standard, because u sold "yourself short" when u began asking for a job!

Quit coming here to ask for help, other people viewing the thread are in need of jobs too...take charge of your career, search for openings, FOLLOW the thread, "updated job/vacancies by Debbie" AND "Job Openings"by Johnime. On a daily, u could see (and i'm not exaggerating now) at least 5-related accounting openings ranging from 0-5 years experience, and u have 6!! Haba!! bros, be smart now...

Don't even get me started about optimizing LINKEDin, an app one ingrate came on NL to cry it hasn't got him a job since he started using it 2yrs ago(as if he was the sole reason Reid Hoffman developed the app in the first instance(well Microsoft owns it now).

Although intricacies abound when using LINKEDin, we only have to know how to use it. Needless to mention, I know of someone who got all jobs he he had, via LINKEDin and he was contacted via inMAIL by the recruiters personally! but a lot of us just open a LINKEDIN acct, and register to receive alert when a job opening of our preference comes up( i was a victim until recently).

Don't expect any job to just fall into your laps, even the ones that pay paltry sums. Remember, getting a job is a job on its own!

That being said, graduates, let's optimize these opportunities, they abound everywhere. Jobs are available at every corner. Make use of the internet, it's called the World Wide Web for a reason. We are the "acclaimed' leaders of tomorrow.
