Hello, all phone techs in the house.

Please, I have a rather strange problem that has me screwed to the wall. You see, I got a new phone a few weeks ago, AMER Mobile. It is a Chines phone produced in the US. A 10-inch screen tab.

A week ago this phone asked I update to a new version, which I did. But the trouble is, it turned to a total Chinese phone, language and apps. I switch to English but the apps side is impossible. The phone completely wiped out all my google based apps and replaced them with Chinese versions...browsers, apps store social apps... all Chinese.

I spent 2 days in Ikeja Computer village trying out one technician and the other to no avail. The phone has been flashed twice but refused to downgrade. Directly installed google play service and play store is no good. They crash.

Searching online, I realized that if I could get the right version of play service for my phone, it could work. I installed one this evening and it worked fine but once i installed play store, it crashed. So possibly, I installed a wrong version. I actually downloaded the latest version of play store from a site with my pc then transferred to my phone.

Please, I wanna know what version of play services I should install along with play store.

My phone is AMER Mobile Android version 4.2.2

please help. my new phone is useless and it is affecting me badly.

I use MTN 3.5gigs both for my phone and laptop. Window 10 has metered network by which you can stop background updates whenever you use Hotspot not modem o. . Win10 is the best window sofar I don't know why people like using older versions to compare with the new version. For me window 10 saves data more depending on how you set it. Then if you love watching YouTube videos don't worry you will have to spend nothing less than 6k a month.

If you are using windows 10 laptop, switch over to windows 7 now to save your data because the former have auto update of all software install. In windows 7, you can de-activate auto update. If you use android, stop background apps and uninstall apps that connect to internet whenever you open them like some stupid games

The package carries my name and address but the zip code is sending it to Satellite town, Lagos instead of Ojo, Lagos.

P.S: If you like my theme, The name is SmartMag Premium Theme. Though, I got it for free as a nulled version. The site i got it from added a small line of text with a link to their blog in the header and footer of every page and post. Took me five hours to find it and i later found out that he added the text to the theme using Octal and hexadecimal encodings in my functions.php and footer.php which i later decoded. i deleted the footer code with no issue but the when i tried deleting the entire culprit from my functions.php, it rendered my site dead. I later edited only the part which calls the codes. goes like this "$fullcontent= ($vNds4 . $content . $ArdTs)" to this "$fullcontent= ( $content )" as well clearing the OctaHeximal Encodings. Now my site is completely free from backlinks.

Please help me out here. Up to this point, I've been using a faulty template. Just changed it to premium mag template and I've got three issues now most worrying of which is how to make ads appear after first paragraph and bottom of posts.

I wanna put just one ad after the first paragraph in the post and two ads at bottom of posts.

Putting the ad in after the first paragraph is totally confusing but with the second issue -- putting the 2 ads at bottom of posts, i understand i have to find the second occurrence of this code in my HTML.... <data:post.body/> ....... and place the ad code after it. Trouble is the code is not appearing correctly in my HTML as it was in the HTML of the exemplary article I read.

As they say, bad luck does not always live with someone when He trusts in God.

Last week, I got my Tecno G9 Tablet phone stolen on a bus by a pregnant woman, no less! You see, I got in the danfo bus and was protecting my bag from two rough looking guys that looked like their destiny on earth was to steal from me. These guys were seated on my right side but little did i know that the real thief was the heavily pregnant woman to my left. She helped herself to my tab and wallet and i did know it till I got down from the bus and reached the bank where I was headed. Checked my bag ...no phone!

Well, the bottom line is this, I had to replace the damn thing cos all my online business was wired to it. I rushed down to Alaba international market in Ojo and bought another tablet...a fairly used Samsung this time but I got cheated big time. Turned out the phone was just a case with a dead inside and a terribly cracked screen hidden under a fine black screen cover that made it look near new!

I wrote off that loss instead of going to fight the fraudsters, a war I knew I would never win since those guys in Alaba in unions that support each other like a cult.

What I did was head back to Alaba today Friday when containers came in form London and fresh fairly used items of all kinds got offloaded and could. And that's how I got hold of a clean Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 for just 21k!

I tested it and it was all working except for a tricky sim card issue. It can detect sim card one minute and show no sim notifications the next. Please, is this a big issue?

Also, the info of the last user who seemed to be in London is still there. If I hit factory delete I hope i won't lose a hot of things such as apps? I want to return it to factory settings.

Please, those who know about phones help me here.

I got my bag stolen by a pregnant woman no less, just last week, and right inside was my tablet phone. I now find myself squeezing my pocket dry to replace it and so my budget ain't high. I got 15 to 20k and I'm after a good quality phone with a simple name that will last me at least 6 months, time enough to sort myself out.

I can't use ordinary phones well due to bad sight, it must have to be a tablet with at least a 10-inch screen and 2GB ram to accommodate by biz apps. I've already seen a fairly Used AMER tablet phone and a Boca but I don't know the quality.
