Be careful out there folks. So many people have High Blood Pressure without even knowing these days.

A motorist bashed my car in Nov 2017 at Alapere. Out of anger, I gave him a blow when I got down and he fell to the ground hitting the back of his head on the road.

For over 5 mins, he layed there motionless and everyone thought he's dead. Na so crowd gathered, lock my shirts say make I carry hin dead body go Police station. That was the scariest day of my adult life.

Thank Goodness, the guy woke up and all I spent money on was stitching of the deep head cuts. I probably would have been beaten and burnt alive had he not woken seeing the way we love jungle justice in this country.

A little push might get one lynched, burnt alive or behind bars for life. Lets be wise.

"Seeing the way we love jungle justice in this country". Including you o. Is bashing one's car enough to blow the person? Wonder what that blow would solve. Thank God you learnt first hand. God saved you.

These ones are too young to know and understand the Igbo people. They should listen to Ahmadu Bello's interview. They will know well then.

They re asked questions based on their personal experience(s).

That's progress in research. Ahmad Bello could not even cause all his peers to perceive Igbos as he did talk more of younger generations. So, rest!

It's called engineering.
The gradient will be too large with a straight road.
Same reason why ramps on pedestrian bridges and staircase are not built straight from bottom to top.
I hope you can relate now?

Have you checked the current Governor of Imo state and his position after the election?

No, all I'm saying is that you can hinge your reason why Obi can't be declared the winner on another ground not this particular one.
Education / Re: IMSU Lecturer Slaps Female Student For Wearing Mufti To Class (Video, Photos) by Ezemeiyogu(m): 7:26pm On May 01, 2023
texazzpete:

The issue here is not whether or not rules were broken. The issue here is the lecturer assaulting the student.

She could easily have been asked to leave the lecture hall. That’s the accepted consequence for breaking a rule. There is no ounce of common sense in your trying to paint this silly picture of “both sides are at fault”.

If your sibling steps on someone’s shoes tomorrow and the person stabs them in return, will you be on the internet talking about how people shouldn’t step on shoes?

Well, it's a case of you trying to appear as if you have a different view.

People who take what decision or actions should always know to whose mercy they re doing that. People exist who take counter actions whether there will be consequences or not. Everyone in the classroom as Lecturers is not you who probably will act much more civilized.

From the outset, I insinuated that the Lecturer could still have curtailed his anger.
That said, the analogy of "stepping on toes" has no iota of relativity with a student appearing in class on 'mufti' when there is a uniform for Classes; while the former is usually not deliberate, the latter is.

So, I will tell anyone who cares to listen that there re consequences to everyone rule broken and because you may not be able to determine and/or control what the counter action(s) will be, always be on the side of right.

People like you have no business in a civilized society.

In a sane country, this man would be out of a job immediately. But animals like this always have supporters in people like you

Do they not also obey simple stated rules in civilized society?

It's easy for your likes to see everything from one perspective, that's a huge bias unku.

That your civilized society doesn't go physical does not mean they will take it lightly with one who goes against simple stated rules.

In no way did I eulogize the Lecturer in what he did but I insist the student didn't get it right either.
Simple!

Don't settle for employment with that degree, you will be frustrated.

Close your eyes and pursue second degree in medicine or nursing, I bet you will be happier graduating at 35 that depending on jobs that ur current course can offer you in present day Nigeria. That's if you re hell bent on making it through employment.

Otherwise, come out and put head for Business.

Nobody should travel to Canada, I am saying this yet again.

Business / Re: What Valuable Item Can 1 Million Naira Really Buy In Nigeria? by Ezemeiyogu(m): 8:38pm On Apr 06, 2023
ogbiwa:
I've just been thinking and I realised that with 1 million naira, you can't:
- buy a house
- buy a decent car
- buy a decent landed property
- construct a proper building foundation
- setup a decent business
- self-fund a proper business idea from zero
- etc

So I realised there are actually Nigerian "millionaires" who can't afford most of the things I listed above (technically, anyone with atleast 1 million Naira is a millionaire, by definition)
So does this mean some of our millionaires here, compared to their counterparts in other countries, are actually considered broke?

Is there something of real value you know can be bought with 1 million Naira that I may have missed? Let me know in the comments. Ogbiwa

This can set up a mini grain grinding or cassava-to-garri processing plant.

With one diesel engine, two gratters and one haudralic pump.

If you re lucky, to get a sensible operator, this can generate a profit of at least 4k a a day, when sited well.

Some of these loan guys are very mean. They have different tactics of making someone go through hell. Imagine, kashcash gave me a loan of 45.5k I didn't request for, but on my dashboard it was showing 70k. Immediately, I called their customer care line and the agent asked me to pay back the money into an account provided. In doing so, my bank erroneously debited me the 45.5k twice due to network issues.
As soon as I complained to kashcash, they acknowledged receipt of the money, but instead of refunding the extra 45.5k back to me, they sent back only 16.9k!
Let's be careful with these loan shark operators. They can cause one hpb instead of solving your problems.

Is kashkash still existing? Thought they folded lo g time ago
