You can take your metaphorical expression and shove it down the ass of their hoodlums in this place - I don't care.

What the ordinary janjawiid in this forum understood clearly is that no one voted in Rivers State and this is the crux of the matter - Think outside the box..
I take that you are the op, judging by your gutter language? grin grin grin
Sorry to upset you. Am not into your PD P and APC warfare as I cannot be bothered by any one of them.
Using a picture to highlight a metaphorical statement is hilarious to do.
We say that people are full of envy but have you seen an envy let alone covered with it? It's a metaphor not literal.

My question is, what did you do or say when Amaechi got a court injunction and was bragging all over the place that nobody can touch him? Please who told you the panel has no constitutional backing? Was that Amaechis reason for not showing up or was it because he felt he would not get a fair hearing from what he describes as the composition of the panel?
Selective amnesia is what is going to do Apc in.
From now till another one year, Nigerians would begin to see the very reason Apc wanted power by all means possible.

Pa Eziachi, did you lend your voice so when Amaechi got a court injunction barring any agency from probing himhuh Your topic and your post has indicted you for hypocrisy.
If I were you I will read, study and knew facts before saying things.
I cannot remember Amaechi being charged by a legally established like the CCB. Or you referring to Wike's panel? Wike panel is no difference from OBJ s Oputa panel that has no legal standing.
I don't give a rat about Amaechi or anyone else. What Wike would have done was to conduct his internal thorough investigation, collect all the crucial evidence and hand over the evidence to those mandated by law to do it, like they did in Jigawa.
Not rushing to set up a panel with no constitutional or legal power to subpoena anyone and you expect them to go?
Alternatively the Rivers State assembly should have pass a law consituting the panel that will give it a legal underpin but that takes time but Wike was in a hurry.
You guys should stop rationing crime. What about him as defence doesn't sit well with me.
PoliticsRe: FG Seeks Warrant To Arrest Bukola Saraki by Eziachi: 5:54pm On Sep 18, 2015
Government do not arrested people in a democracy.
Government do not persecute people in a democracy.
Government do not jail people in a democracy.
Agencies of the state does the above in a democracy.
Government's job is to strengthen these institutions, making sure they are free of government interference in discharging their lawful empowerment duties.
So FG cannot arrest Saraki, it the agency of the state and judiciary that can be able to.

But if he has any atom of brain, in such a scenario, he should tell them that he is quite content to be where he is now and play low key.
But he is a politician, them and power is like a dog and a bone. They cannot resist the lure and then had their fingers burnt.

@OP its far better to have a corrupt society where everyone is treated fairly and free to be corrupt than one where once u are in the opposition u are made scapegoats. Its the early beging of the breeding of a dictatorial society. That's the worst typa society. No one truly loves saraki but when u look a ppl like tinubu, amechi, obansanjo even the so called buhari then u wonder the type of corruption fighting this govt is carrying out. What's even disturbing is the organized way this withchunting is carried out in connivance with the press who also seek to stampede anyone who cries foul play.

Corruption impedes a society from development but lack of fairness totally destroys its foundation.
Then what is your definition of corruption? Corruption is not restricted to stealing Naira and Kobo. How did you figure out theory of livng in corrupt society with an equallty treatment.?
Equality meant that no one is above the law, starting with Buhari, Saraki or anyone else.

Interesting that PA EZICHIE is defending same Buhari that refused to appear before Oputa penal to defend himself. Its more worrying when someone like PA Ezichie is singing the praises of same Buhari that said that Abacha NEVER stole inspite of the billions that have been recovered from him and yet still maintains that stance to date. If Buhari can declare Abacha corruption, what moral justification does he and his govt have to claim that another person is corrupt?
Some of you should use your intellectual capacity as humans. Don't confuse things.
Oputa panel wasn't a court. It was a reconciliation committee set up by the government based on a popular demand and not on any strong legal backing.
At the time I said that the government should have worked with national assembly to pass a law that will legally back the panel as a constituted authority under the law, which can subpoena anyone without having a choice to appear before it. They did not do that.

I also said at the time that if I were any of the protagonist, I will never appear before the panel because it's a meaningless exercise, if its not legally binding.

And I was right, because in the end , it became a comedy show for the likes Abacha's ADC Mustapha and others and what happened to panel's report? Dustbin.

Saraki was not mandated to appear before a non judicial panel whose members included some priests and Labour leaders.
He was being summoned to appear before the court of law through a legally consituted authority called Code of Conduct Bureau.
Forget politics, leave aside your dislike for Buhari and use your brain. And stop comparing cassava with Mango because you are playing Nigeria sectional politics.

RIght now what APC is doing is eliminating the competition
Well if you decide that it's eliminating competition. A team that wants to win will not deliberately field their player serving a red card ban in a match against their fiercest rival.
If Saraki is clean,he should have nothing to fear about whoever his so called competitors are. He will even be shouting hallelujah on the mere mention of court, rather than running away from it.
On the other hand if he has something to fear, the most sensible thing to do would had been to lie low and play a low-key politics. If I steal your car, the last thing I will to would be to turn up for church in the same place you worship with the same stolen car and expect not to rumbled.

Why would I care if Saraki is being witchhunted for being corrupt?
I said the same thing during OBJs period, that if you don't want to be witchhunted, please keep your nose clean and there will be nothing to witch hunt you with.

The very first place a witch hunted victim want to be is the court. So how can you be running away from the court and also screaming witch hunting with the same breath?
Innocent man supposed to love the court and not using one court to prevent self going to another court to defend self.

In a true democratic climate, people willingly resign from their positions, so as to have all the time in the world to clear their name from any accusations.
If Saraki is using a corrupt court injunction to stop self from appearing before another court of law, what right has he got making laws and for whom in particular?

What again is the job of the court, if not to punish the guilty and set the innocent free?
The judges that issues this injunctions stopping courts, police and other agencies from doing their jobs deserve to be stoned.

My worst anger are reserved for the idiotic conspiracy theorists going on about APC or Tinubu.

Some idiots are shouting "why now"?
And my response to them is: why not now?
Does crime has expiring date?

70 years after the 2nd world war, Nazi war criminals are still being caught and persecuted for their crimes. So why should a crime committed few years ago be declared as expired because everything in Nigeria is politically painted in black and white?
Haha!!

If you hate corruption why do you always make excuses for criminals, irrespective of their positions, which they equally stole through all sorts of electoral malpractices?

Buhari never made this statement. What he said then was that Abacha he knew doesn't talk much about money, so he find it very hard to believe that he stole these amount of money as being mentioned by the government or whether he was fully aware what those around him where doing in his name.
But when the evidence became clearer how much the Abacha family has stolen from Nigeria, especially when the Swiss returned the loot, Buhari blocked Abacha's son's bid of becoming CPC governorship candidate, they fail out and Abacha Jr decamped to the PDP where he was welcomed with an open arm and a deal was reached over the stolen loot between the family and the PDP led government.

OWNERS OF SURGICAL EQUIPMENT RETRIEVE EVERYTHING FROM HOSPITAL

THE PROJECT WAS ONLY 60% COMPLETED WHEN AKPABIO COMMISSIONED IT – SITE ENGR.

IF THEY COULD PLAY POLITICS ON MATTERS OF LIFE AND DEATH, THEN…… – DR AKPAN

Akwa Ibom state has gone a level deeper in the cesspit of lies and deception which has been the hallmark of the state government in recent times as a shocking revelation has made its way into public domain showing that indigenes of the state where scammed to believing the claim by Ex-Governor Akpabio and the Present Governor, Udom Emmanuel that the 21st anniversary hospital was fully ready for commencement of provision of healthcare and open heart surgeries.

The Guide Newspaper team of editors who visited the hospital during the week can as part of routine investigative newsgathering can authoritatively report that the only thing left of newly commissioned hospital are plastic chairs as all the surgical equipment which was shown on the media during the formal commissioning of the hospital were nowhere to be found in the hospital blocks.

The visit by our team of editors brought out the shocking revelation that contrary to the claims by former Governor Godswill that the hospital was ready to open its doors to the public for the purpose of healthcare delivery, more than one-third of the hospital was still under construction while another part was getting remedial work due to a dangerous crack on the wall as revealed by the workers.

Inside the wards and the various units, only a few plastic chairs covered by dust were scattered around even in the cardiology unit with no open heart surgical equipment found.

Oneof the construction Engineers who spoke to our team of editors on the condition of strict anonymity disclosed that the part of the building facing Ikot Ekpene had cracked dangerously due to the fact that Governor Akpabio had ignored the advice of the company that the period for the commissioning be moved forward as job needed more time to set properly before the much pressure was introduced to it.

“This part you are seeing, is the part that had cracked and we are almost concluding remedial job on it to see how we can manage the crack. I don’t believe that this is our fault as I have gathered that our oga had pleaded with the Governor of the state back then to shift forward the date of commissioning to allow the day and night job we did some weeks before the commissioning to set properly. You see, this project had been unfortunate as the funds that were meant for it had always been lost in transit. This project like I am told was awarded since 2007. I was moved from Abuja to this project in 2010. As you saw behind, there are still about 35 per cent of jobs to be done on this site”

Checks by the Guide Newspaper revealed that ex-Governor Akpabio had budgeted the sum of 4.1 billion naira for the purchase of hospital equipment for the hospital and had even announced on the day of commissioning that Government had imported every single equipment needed for the immediate take-off of the hospital, days after the commissioning.

It was gathered that the project was one of the many projects which the former governor had used to siphon Akwa Ibom state funds as successive budgetary allocations for the project does not reflect on the current state of the hospital which is almost in ruins.

In the meantime, a retired cardiologist who has had a robust practice in Abuja Dr Julius Akpan has reacted to the news that the former Governor Chief Godswill Akpabio and the present Governor Udom Emmanuel had colluded to deceive people of the state on the true condition of the hospital, stressing that it was heartbreaking that Government could descend to the pathetic situation of lying about an issue of life and death.

Speaking in his Shelter Afrique residence on Thursday even, Dr Akpan said “Honestly I would not have had cause to comment on this issue if it were a mere political issue. But then this is a health issue. The present government understands that the state had been faced with the urgent need for the expansion of medical facilities in the state. Even while I was in working in London before moving back to Abuja here in Nigeria, I was part of the people drafted to consult for the state government for the project on matters of cardiology. I told the former Governor who was the Governor back then that the project would have significant impact on the lives of the people since the only tertiary healthcare facility in the state – the University of Uyo teaching Hospital was not even functioning optimally and was even with its shortcomings overpopulated with patients.

Do you realize how many people have died due to the inability of the few doctors there to effectively handle the many cases that throng in to the hospital on a daily basis? So when the Government pleaded that I form part of the advisory team, I didn’t hesitate because I saw it as an opportunity to help cater for the health needs of the people. We and other members of the advisory committee as well as the Governor were meant to meet with the contractors who were drafted to provide the equipment we had earlier listed for the hospital by January this year in preparation of the commissioning but nothing like that happened. I was surprised to see little equipment on Television on the day of the commissioning, but atleast I was happy that the hospital will soon open its doors.

But few months when the hospital didn’t begin operations, I began to ask questions only to be told that the small equipment I saw was not even owned by the Government but were hired. I was so heartbroken. That a government that should be concerned about the lives of the citizenry whose mandate they hold, is shamelessly playing politics with people’s lives. If they could play politics with such an issue that involves life and death, then there is no point having a government in the first place!”
