Fayose reminded me all those crime documentary movies where the suspects do funny things in the quest to draw the detective's attention away from the real issues and possibly themselves. I don't think he is making all these irrelevant noises for nothing. He is trying hide something about himself with all these trash he spews on a daily basis. Every day, when he is not eating plantain on the road, he is busy chasing late comers to work or riding on a motorcycle kerb. The dude is a comedian without any amusing joke. |
Last week, the corruption supporters brigage called the report of her arrest a fiction and a propaganda. I wonder what they will call it now? |
Do they really have real journalists in Nigeria or is it paid and hired individuals that pretend to be journalists who are poorly paid, poorly trained and unschooled in the act of journalism? |
Nelsizzy:I did. An average student should read and digest it in five minutes. Its travesty commenting on something you never read. |
I can well believed Mr Momodu's story. It happened to me in 1999 when my nephew became a governor. All manners of people were calling me right, front and back, including those calling my wife they never met in 40 years asking when my flight home is scheduled as they have heard that I had been pencilled down as the commissioner for health and how they will be willing to resign from their jobs and return home with me. Which my family found not only insulting but ridiculous to say the least. The situation was made worse with one the governor's kids staying with me in Surrey at the time as a foreign student and his wife often popping in enroute to America where their other boy at time was schooling. This is why public servants are dragged into corruption by their relatives and socalled friends when they had good intentions earlier to serve. They are ofteb branded as a failure or ridiculed if they refused to get rich with public money. |
opribo:What is dividends of democracy, building roads, hospital and electricity? No that not it, because junta governments also built those. Even Saddam Hussein built all that too. Dividends of democracy is open accountability while and after holding public office, serving time if you are found guilty of stealing even a penny of public money, not turning public service into an avenue to be rich quick rather than to serve the poor masses. If catching armed robbers and making them to face justice is playing to gallery where you come, where I come from its regarded as the most noble act. Lovers of corruption who always pretend to hate it but ever internally in love with corruption through their deeds and utterances. |
Alubosa:Are they allowed to practice in the UK? Don't they have lawyers in England? >: ![]() |
TonyeBarcanista:I thought you are supposed to be intelligent, Aisha Buhari? ![]() |
I heard the news not from Nigeria media but the BBC while driving home. This is how Reuters reported it.https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://uk.reuters.com/article/2015/10/02/uk-nigeria-oil-arrest-idUKKCN0RW21820151002&ved=0CKkBEBYwHGoVChMI5Jn659GkyAIVa8ByCh36Hg2s&usg=AFQjCNG0WF8_453hFrIOXZUjnNFlBX5n5Q Nigeria lovers, cheerleaders and supporters of corruption wishing and hoping that it's not true should be disappointed. |
Who is a technocrat? |
OfoIgbo:Who made this calculation and where you there holding the calculator to know who the equation was being worked? There is no individual known as Yoruba? Doesn't Yoruba has many people inside the PDP as in APC? Or you think that every Yoruba belongs APC? As we speak, PDP controls two states in the South West and only control four out of six in the SE. And if not for brazen rigging in Abia, it would had been just three states for PDP in the SE. Does some of you think or have any sort of stat or facts before writing? |
Movic1:If they consistently voted for someone outside of their own over their beloved ones, why do you still turn around and call them tribalist? Shouldn't their patterns of voting, according to your own data marked them as the most ditribalized group in Nigeria where everyone votes their own.? In 2000, Al Gore lost to George W Bush in his home state of Tennessee, does that make them the most confused people in the United State? In 1993, Chief Abiola defeated Dawakin Tofa in his home state of Kano, does that also make Kano people the most confused people of the northern Nigeria? Who among Igbo politician spread and fed people more religious and tribal hate than Fayose? Bigots like you, will always sit down to whip up some tribal trash every day without even knowing their own personal history of their child birth, let alone a country, or may I say the world.Instead of spending meaningless time own nairaland, writing bigoted trash, spend that time educating yourself. I try to treat people as individuals, not stereotypes irrespective of where they come from or the language they speak. |
Can I simply tell the Op that Edo is not qualified to be part of Biafra for thousands of reasons. Or is he just seeking attention? Why telling a lady who find you unattractive and in the least revolting that you don't want to marry her? Only in your dreams. Edo my azz!! |
ALISMILE:I hope you talking about Igbos? If you are, where did you get the facts to support your nonsensical claim that they sowed the first seed of tribalism in Nigeria. Lay down your facts or at least be little quiet. |
FreeGlobe:And that must have made your day I suppose? ![]() |
gassdon:Yeah, the world economic team that left the economy in coma with $60 debt on its neck after selling the crude consistently around $100 on an average for 6 years. |
NgeneUkwenu:That's exactly what I wrote somewhere else about Amaechi and his opponents. |
This Ugba/Palm wine drinkers social club called Ohaneze are as confused as a mice on a spherical wheel. I am only miffed at whoever that thinks that they are being lead by these jojers ;.They cannot even lead themselves, always competing with the Afenifere on who will wear the stupid/confused crown |
I hope it last longer than a hammattan season. Mrs Jonathan claimed to be a graduate civil servant but was absent from work for 16 years and even got her self promoted to permanent Secretary despite her earth-shaking Zebrudaya Okoroigwe command of English. Mrs Buhari claimed to be a graduate beautician, but I don't know possibly the last time she must have touched a scissors or a make-up brush. And hilariously, Saraki was said to be a medical doctor too, but I wonder if know the difference between a rope and a stethoscope? |
uwa1:I thought you said 19 is unconstitutional? Buhari would wish to have a sensible 19 but your corrupt constitution advocated a wasteful 36 jobs for the boys. 36 with their legions of advisers and adviser to the advisers, all noise makers who does nothing but loot public collective wealth |
The relationship between Amaechi and PDP with their supporters is that of a Tom & Jerry relationship. Very entertaining and funny. If Chibuike Amaechi's name is their, PDP/supporters reaction will that of a scream that he is corrupt, he single handedly funded Buhari's campaign, they will beat themselves with chains etc. On the other hand, if his name isn't there, they will equally screamed that he has been used and dumped, he is only invited for trip, he betrayed his brother (brother?), he is finished etc. But if Amaechi is to pay me to advise him, I will simply tell him to stay away from political appointed or elected position and adapt Ahmed Tinubu style of playing the kingmaker. It's much safer that way, especially when on a face value he seems to have a good personal relationship with the president. But politicians being what they are, position to them is what a fish is to rat. They cannot resist it and then get themselves burnt. |
samscholes:Stop playing politics. Who doesn't know that Nigeria ministers, especially those from the political class are clashing cymbals? Things are ran by civil servants and ministers only cut the tapes and collect millions of air miles. Take your calculator and calculate how much Nigeria has saved for not having them for six months. |
It is disheartening to note that the same meeting the President Buhari-led delegation shunned actually yielded a fall out of $6.8 million announced by the United States as funding for regional aid effortsOnly $6 million? That's close to what GEJ government and PDP use to budget for independent anniversary cake. Six months on, Metuh still hasn't figure out what opposition politics entails as a spokesman. |
dearsly:Keep praying and hoping for the worse for your fellow human being. If I remembered correctly, he was supposed to die even before the election from cancer according to many of you. And some of you are some how mistaking Buhari for Mrs Jonathan. Buhari ascent may not be everybody's cup of tea and so too many of you but he has a good command of spoken English language as far as I know. |
I don't give two rats about the UN , I want him to announce his cabinet now. The suspense is killing me. Lol. |
softvio:Its not just an allegation. Its a criminal charges. You should know the difference. If Buhari is charged with 13 crimina/fraudl related offenses, he has no business being in Aso Rocks, whether he has been convicted or not. |
conyema12:I thought it was against the wishes of Ahmed Tinubu? When did they changed the wishes baton? Unfortunately dear, he contested. Too bad. So your assurance is worthless now. The best advice you can give to a thief is for him to keep a low profile, and not driving around town in flashy cars, blaring some loud music, as that will attract attentions to him, especially from the law. But we all knew that every rogue thinks that they untouchable until they are caught with one wrong move after successful wrong moves in the past. |
slimtom1994:I did not know that OBJ and Buhari are friends. |
