I know bro but fringe midfield players playing together for the first time might be calamitous. Might not bring out the best in them. As you know we are very judgemental. One floppy performance, you are out. Ask nwakeame and forgiveness oh sorry (kayode)

nice line up bros but I think we need to ease this new guys in. Why not start ndidi, mikel and obi. When resuming for second half, substitute for Agbo then later ndidi for Agu maybe mikel for Etebo. I think this will enable them to blend in with some confidence (quote author=tbaba1234 post=67675311]My starting lineup for DRC

Ajiboye(Akpeyi second half)

Sir forgiveness, abeg enough of this back and forth argument. Let us discuss our team please.
Iwobi needs to be very careful. He needs to concentrate on his game right now not moving from one cheek bone to another.

Now you are talking bro. It is a mess we all need to join hand and make it right. Sowore is back, durotoye is here. Don't stay too long bro,we need you here. It is time for all of us to take our country back. Yes! We can but it will not be easy. Let us do it for our children, for posterity. The time of running away and living a so called comfort life with your nuclear and extended family should come to an end. Let us live for humanity, for our nation. Thank you

POWER CUT IN UK

When I moan, kick and curse, it’s because I believe we deserve better in Nigeria. We are not beneath oyinbo; they don’t have special brain or more human than us. They are just better organised, serious, and love their country.

I woke up today at about 7.45am to discover that ‘NEPA’ had taken power. I checked everywhere, then the meter. The meter’s panel was blank. I knew it must be something serious. I was not sure if the neighbours had power.

Since there was no power, no WIFI. But I have mobile data on my phone. So I googled ‘Power Cut.’ I saw something about the U.K. power network. It says call 150 if there’s power cut. I did. The pleasant customer service apologised and checked their system after I gave her post code. She explained that it’s the second phone call from my area. She apologised again and told me engineers will be around the area around 8.30am. I gave my phone number and she promised to update me as progress is made.

Few minutes to 9, I got texts that the fault is from a substation and they are working at it. They promise to restore power by 10-11am.

11am, there was a knock on my door. “Sir, it’s a major fault, we don’t know if we would be able to finish today, though we are working had at it. It’s an underground cable problem; we need to dig the roads.”

“But, we shall be connecting you to a generator so you can have power while we sort out the problem.”

I didn’t bribe NEPA. They apologised profusely for invading my privacy and having to pass generator cables through my letter hole.

Am I impressed? Well, not really. I have lived here long enough to be conditioned to expect things like this.

It is all about conditioning. If you are conditioned in a shithole, your expectation is shithole. You become a mediocre. You hail idiots for giving you 3 hours power every other day. It’s not your fault. You are a product of crap , your expectation is crap.

I was once like you. Ignore all the boasting. Before I saw a different way of life, I thought shithole is sweeter than strawberry .

My guy, when we tell you to raise your expectations, we are not mocking you. It’s because we also want you to experience living life. Your life in a shithole is not the best. We can make Nigeria better for all of us. We only need to crush the rogues and stop hailing them. They are your enemies. The hardship we face is down to every single one of them.

It’s 9.02pm, it has been raining all day and the engineers in front of my house are still working to fix my power. They worked in the rain all through.

And I’m still enjoying free power from their generator.

I am not even a Senator. I’m just a bloody Babaloja from Wakanda.

But every single citizen/resident, from the lowest to the highest enjoy the same privilege.

This is what I hope for in Nigeria. And we must work and fight for it.

It’s a war between us and those filthy supporters of crooks and rogues. We must crush them.

Nobody is defending mediocrity. What I am asking you is what have you contributed to the greatness of Nigeria. All you know is you and your family to be comfortable, if that's how the Americans think you won't have no where to run to. What are you doing / have you done to make Nigeria a great country to live in. If you have not done anything worthwhile for the country you have no reason to condemn it. Period!!!

I just find it ridiculous when a citizen calls his/her country shit hole. Who told you Nigeria govt. does not recognize excellence. Do you know how many Nigerians are studying abroad under a Federal govt scholarship. Yes we are not there yet but we will get there. Do not worry stay in another man's house and continue throwing stones to yours one day they will tell you/ your children that you are not one of them. I believe in the Nigerian project. Americans forefathers sacrificed for their country to be what it is today you guys do not wanna pay no price but want the good things of life. Enjoy your America we are enjoying our Nigeria. Please you can call your father's house shit hole. Hell no my country is not. Thank you. What is so special in America, I have been there. I find so much peace and happiness in my home, my country Nigeria. We shall stay here and make Naija great again.
America is this and that, why are you guys spoiling our name by seeking Asylum in Canada. If your America is soooo wonderful, nonsense!!!

Musa Ahmed has done few but quite important things for our football. I could vividly remember the under 20 nations cup in south Africa. Musa was menacing and when his club decided to recall him all hell went loose. This guy scored that crucial goal in Kenya that set us on the road to 2014 world cup. Against the argies at the world cup two well taken goals. Against arsenal fantastic. Musa no all our players need us to stand by them. They qualified from the most difficult group dropping just four points.
Invite A today, invite B tomorrow, all those we had shouted their names for invitation what extraordinary things have they done. Nothing. Haaa Naija just cos of Serbia win over us we don they fear dey change mouth. Including myself!!!
We should trust and support these guys. They will RISE UP to the occasion.

Please announce it to them in Sparta, tell it to them in Greece, shout it loud at them in Rome. We need Samuel Kaluuuuuuuuuu. Just Imagine front three, kalu, ighalo/ nacho and vicmo. Midfield of Mikel, Iwobi/etebo and Ndidi. Waoo, the goals will flow in surely.

we don't change the winning team. Our boyz has done us proud. No need to press the panic button. They will rise up to the occasion. 2014 we were not that good yet we gave Argentina a huge scare with mediocre players like Babatunde, etc. Also France had to rely on an enyeama mistake to score us remember we had a good goal disallowed.
Our first 11 we match any team in the world.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 9:12am On Apr 02, 2018
hello my good bro. If Iwobi plays through the middle then our two df midfielders must be very discipline. With kalu, martins and moses. Iwobi, ndidi, Mikel(Chelsea role). kalu's crosses won't be a waste with this forward line. moses, martins, iwobi, Mikel can nip in crosses. What's your thought?
MetalJigsaw:
Don't rule out Martins too

instead of Rohr to call upSamuel kalu, Sadiq and desser even aluko and Ambrose. But he would rather call up call up agu, ajayi, okechukwu etc. I am becoming very suspicious of Rohr coaching crew.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 8:17pm On Apr 01, 2018
bro, iwobi cannot play through the middle for us , he lacks the stamina.
1) he losses ball easily. 2) he doesn't know how to mark. 3) he doesn't cover space.
It is better he plays on the wing and comes into the middle unnotice. Like say a false 9 or 8.
MetalJigsaw:
Honestly, its really annoying to know the fact that Rohr hasn't realized that Iwobi is at his best when played through the middle. Its a factor that made the forward have a disappointing international outing.

Rohr needs to open his eyes to this because we can't afford to have him make such mistake in Russia.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 7:37am On Mar 28, 2018
no one is saying he is a bad player but he can't put shehu on the bench. Boss, what criteria do you use to select nacho ahead of ighalo.
tbaba1234:
Iwobi was poor against Poland but was great against Serbia.. One below par game does not make a bad player.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 11:56pm On Mar 27, 2018
we definitely need an experience goal keeper asap. Joel obi can't even take on a player, to pass the ball self na problem. I think we should have called up efe Ambrose, Samuel kalu and Bonaventure instead of all this mediocre ajayi, okechukwu, agu, agbo etc.
Rohr already knows his team and he is trying to protect them from serious competition from inform young players like kalu, Bonaventure Sadiq umar etc that's why he is inviting mediocre guys to fill up the invite list.
