Put the wedding on hold, until you are sure what you are doing. Marriage is no joke. |
@op, a cheating wife is a life threat to her husband, so you should not mind your business in this if you care about your brother's interest at all. That being said, your cousin being in the mix makes it very tricky, and if not handled properly could burn down the whole family. I hope you handle this well and I hope you have all those chats and pics between them as evidence. Maybe other posters will tell you just how to approach it. Good luck. |
I agree with all, but no 14. It's a big LIE. YOU ARE YOUR THOUGHTS. Your dominant thoughts form or destroy your life. They win out ultimately. |
The cousin has done something very good, albeit inadvertently, by posting the story and pictures on social media. Now the media, women and child protection groups will mount pressures on the government to act and take away the child from him. Stupid paedophiles. |
aubventure:What is wrong with the 4 |
aubventure:What is wrong with the 4 |
Origin:Funny, @Origin. I said it before that the only thing that will make the government act on this is the fact that they and their relatives breath the same air with the rest of the poeple. |
EmilyShoton:It doesn't matter that you are an economist, you said the truth. Even though, it might not liquify the brain, it would surely result in some kind of cancer in the long run if nothing is done about it urgently. The question is, how do we all leave the city? It's serious |
Okay. Hope they do a thorough job. |
EmilyShoton:Liquifying the brain? Hmmmm. I have thought of leaving the city, but how about our jobs? Move to where? Trans Amadi, Woji and all the neighbourhoods around them are saturated with these soots. God help us. |
whyteboyz03:Yes. You are right, yet they should have conscience as human beings. Good enough they and their relatives also breath in this same air. Maybe, that will make them act and not release a useless statement telling us that they are aware of it. |
Thanks very much, @Nnemuka. I thought I'd do a thread on this today, but you already did it. Thanks again. To the subject on ground. It is horrible right now. Those who stay outside Port Harcourt won't really understand what we are talking about. If this continues for a long time, I am afraid, it won't be well with PH residents healthwise years down the line. It is no joke at all. I feel scared because we can't do anything about it by ourselves and to think that we have little children breathing in this polluted air everyday? Please, the government should wake up and do something really serious about this and not just tell us that they are aware of it. |
Truth that is hidden from the indomie generation. @Rockstation and @farano, come in and do justice to this thread, for it might save a marriage from hitting the rocks this week. |
And what will you do when you find out that your vehicle number plate is fake, after going through the normal procedure to get it from FRSC? |
Please repost this thread in the Family Section if you want to be advised properly. @farano, you may also help op move it to Family Section. @op, put the travelling to South Africa on hold and sort out your issue first. Wish you luck. |
Tiny23:Your brain must be schizophrenic for telling @gg2012 to shut up. It's sad that nairaland is faceless and and teenagers like you can just come here and tell a woman who is probably older than your mother to shut up, when she even said the obvious. Now repeat after me. Hijab is for the poor, not for the likes of Zahra and other rich kids. |
As for me, I have decided never to mind my business wherever I see a defenceless child abused routinely. That child woudn't have died if the people just managed to care a little, but they all minded their kind of business that people preach on NL these days |

Hahahahahaha. Mercy, sorry you hear. Dem done show you your size. |
And how many years imprisonment for stealing upwards of N1bn? Steal billions of naira. Settle judges with some millions and escape justice. Steal N20k and have nothing to settle the judge with and spend a very long time in jail. That is the construct. The other time, a judge in Ebonyi kept a woman in jail for over two(2) years for stealing N400 worth of cocoyam. Evil judges. N/B: Not justifying stealing though. |
progress69:I got your point now. Crazy things happening frequently nowadays. |
GOFRONT:Hmmmm. A close friend of mine is HIV+, but you will never know unless she tells you. HIV no dey show for face. |
progress69:Guy, it's not stupid story by a blogger ooo. It was Punch that did the interview. They published it on Sunday. They said the wedding actually took place at Lafia, Nasarawa State. |
Joavid:Go through the whole story again, especially the later part of it and you will find that it has nothing to do with love. Infact, I felt sick the first time I read it from the Punch. The guy is devilish and has changed the ladies life forever, but he will pay for his evilness soon enough. |
LesbianBoy:Don't worry yourself. They have no choice. They must take it to front page. |
koralink:Guy forget the sources. Even if, the BBC and the Punch were the sources of this poo, I will still know it's lie. |
This story is lie (poo). Short and simple. |
I once resigned from a job not long after a boss used bad language on me. It is shocking to think that you have read Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad and you still not know that you are a slave in the hand of that proprietress and need to quit that job and use your time and brain to do something more respectful. How do you stay at a job in which you are daily subjected to inhuman and degrading treatments and expect to have high self worth and become successful. My advice to you is to look for money to go into business with and leave that job, in case you are afraid of not getting another job. If you don't have money for business, then resign, and go looking for another teaching job. The fact that you got that job out of 50 who sat for the test, should tell you that you are good enough to get another one if you leave that one. Don't accept anyone treating you like poo for the sake of money. |
TheArchangel: ![]() ![]() You are very funny. Undertaking not to do what? |
omongbatim:There are still very good high schools, with boarding facilities, in Nigeria where security is water tight. I think that doing her high school education in Nigeria will help a great deal. What you need to do is to look out for one that will suite her. A strict missionary school will not be out of place. She can go to the US on vacations. |
victorvezx:Whether you believe in Christ or you become an atheist, it doesn't change who God is and the fact that God will judge you through Jesus, when your time is up. So your best bet is to truly accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour and repent from your sins, and stop worrying about Rev. Nwoko. |
Largely true, and most of these quotes apply to the situation in Nigeria. |
