LRNZH:
This is another ploy to postpone elections from March 28. Mark my words.

Boko Haram was allowed to fester for 5 years and nothing happened. Just because it is election time, they step up efforts against Boko Haram.

After postponing elections from February, they now claim that real anti insurgency operations will start in March.

Nigerians should not be deceived. If GEJ cannot conduct elections he should resign and let Sambo take over.
Sambo maybe more sensible to conduct elections.

I am forced to comment on this issue based on the misconception that people have on this postponement, INEC was not ready for February 14 and needed a collaboration from the military to get themselves off the hook, else not, was there no ban on the use of the military for the Election?

People fail to ask some pertinent questions as their minds are made up not to see anything good in what the government does.

Whatever measure you use for someone shall be used on you.

sakaguchi:
I'm not a fan of APC, neither am I a PDP fan, but the dearth of Charisma and class in GEJ is appalling.
A president who could not make his citizens feel safe. All the carnage and blood-letting, kidnaps and arson in the NorthEast and Middle Belt have gone unchecked. How does GEJ react? GEJ reacted in ways only foolish presidents will do.

Killing and destruction in Borno and Yobe»»»GEJ travel to France to meet Monsieur Hollande and eat french toast.

Girls were kidnapped from their Schools, GEJ is in denial, he couldn't as much as embolden us that we are winning the fight by visiting and grieving parents.

Fulani destroying agrarian villages in the North Central, GEJ did nothing. Nothing at all. No intent, no clue, no solution. The Middle Belt had to form vigilantes to fight the Militia. Meanwhile GeJ is coughing millions to ex-millitants in dollar crisp notes.

Bomb blast in Kano and GEJ is dancing shoki somewhere.

GEJ is proud that TEFfund bankrolled project worth 19billion in the outgoing YEAR for all the students in Nigeria. Is that something to be proud of when we know that fraudsters are raising 24Billion naira for only him (GEJ) in ONE day?

I remember when he was saving the a55 of his corrupt croonies : Maina, Stella Oduah et al.
Come 2015, we will make a statement of intent. We will vote out cluelessness.

Even with the votes Rivers State gave him in 2011, he punished the people of Rivers simply because he doesn't like the face of the man called Amaechi.

The North-Central voted en mass for GEJ. Most of the juicy posts that came to the north were ferried across the Niger to the Sahel, bypassing the Middle belt who defied the odds to vote him.

Today, the Northern minorities who voted GEJ are in internally displaced in Refugee camps, when they complain, PDP apologist are quick to blame it on Hausa Fulani hegemony.
From Chibok, Tafawa Balewa, Azare, Zuru, Kafanchan, Lafia, Makurdi, Oturkpo, Jos, Bukuru, Gboko, Lokoja, Ankpa, Mubi, Jalingo; the northern minorities are taking a stand, and its not with the umbrella.
The only thing they got after voting enmasse for GEJ was the blood of their Children and of the elderly.

My sisters, congratulations. People you didn't vote for are giving you free quality education while the government you and your parents defied all odds to vote for have given hope on your friends still in Boko Haram harem deep in the Sambisa.

He gave up on our sisters, we'll give up on him.

And for the complete Mugu below me and all those who think like him, the girls were taken to America for schooling at the behest of a NIGERIAN COUPLE
not by GEJ.
My friend just close your big mouth
Its very easy to criticize and talk thrash
Only empty heads ll refuse to understand this Country called Nigeria

GEJ has done far exceedingly above all the past Presidents of this Country
Despite the challenges

Obasanjo ruled for 8years wth allegations of corruption and murder yet fools choose not to attack him
My Dear GEJ is simply attacked cox He has changed the political equation of the Country

OLAADEGBU ..There is an Old saying that says "Curiosity killed the Cat " Do not let your curiosity fool you

Some issues in the bible are better left for theologians to work and argue on but not for passer bys like us

I have read your write .you made sense at some point but lost it when you wanted to put it in your own way to condemn the Catholic Church and The Blessed Virgin Mary

Honestly you are ignorant of alot of things concerning life before Christ amd After the Death of Christ

Jesus Christ and the Blessed Mother were prefigured in the Old Testament even before Both of them came into the world ..
The parallels in the Old Testament and the New Testament is a branch of scripture study known as “typology”.   other words, events and people in the New Testament are prefigured by events and people in the Old Testament.

One such typology revolves around Revelation 12 and Genesis 37:9.  In Genesis, Joseph says,    "Behold, I have dreamed another dream; and behold, the sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me." In Revelation 12:1, the scripture reads,    “And a great portent appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.”  The obvious parallel is that the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars in Joseph’s dream represent his 11 brothers and all of Israel, while THE WOMAN in Revelation is adorned with these symbols of Israel.  So who is the “WOMAN”?  The first clue is the term “a great portent”.

In Isaiah 7:14 in the Old Testament, it says,    “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign. Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son and his name shall be called Emmanuel.” The great portent of Revelation and the sign of Isaiah are one and the same – A Virgin who will give birth to the leader of Israel, Jesus Christ.  That woman is the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The writer of the book of Revelation, St. John the Apostle, was given by Jesus on the cross to Mary as her son, and Mary was given to John as his Mother, in John 19:26-27.    This means that John knew Mary better than anyone, except for Jesus, and he is trying to tell us all something about her status in heaven.

In the preceding verse, Revelation 11:19, John tells us that he sees the Ark of the Covenant. In the next verse, Revelation 12:1, he describes the Ark for us as “A woman clothed with the sun”, a term that could only mean the immaculately conceived Virgin Mary.  The rest of Revelation 12 talks about the enmity prefigured in Genesis 3:15 between the devil and THE WOMAN, and how satan can’t get to her.  In Revelation 12:17, it says that we are her children if we follow the commandments and bear testimony to Jesus.Mary is also seen as the new Eve. Whereas Eve listened to the devil Lucifer and obeyed him, bringing sin and damnation into the world, Mary listened to the angel Gabriel and obeyed him, thus bringing grace and salvation into the world in the form of Jesus Christ.  Mary and Jesus are forever linked together, just as Adam and Eve are.  Eve came forth from the side of Adam; Jesus came forth from the womb of Mary.  Eve was created immaculately and sinned; Mary was created immaculately and stayed sinless.  Thus Mary and her obedience to God overcame Eve’s disobedience to God.  And while Mary's parents, Anna and Joachim, were not immaculately conceived, Mary was, so that she would not pass on original sin (the devil had NO dominion over Jesus, ever) through the womb.  How can this be? Well, God is God, and he can create anything from nothing, merely through His Word at any time He so chooses.  Eve was the first woman immaculately created and sinned; Mary was the second woman immaculately created and did not sin.

I advice you seek salvation and leave issues that you know nothing about

Christianity EtcRe: Is It Wrong For Christians To End A Marriage Due To Impotency Of A Partner by fagin1982(m): 12:44pm On Oct 05, 2014
The Catholic Church concents to Divorce only when your Life is threatned and issues relating to impotency .. If a partner chooses to hide his or her impotency and enters the union with such secret..The Church concludes that you decieved your partner into marrying you

The the celebration of Holy Matrimony ..The priest asks .." Mr or Miss ........Have you come to the Alter of God at your own free will and mind "

Meaning u have examined all concerning your partner spiritually ..physically and other wise

At such point the vows end with Till death do us path

But in a situation one partner decieves the other into marriage knowing he or she is impotent ..

The Catholic Church having done thier own investigation will dissolve the marriage

so my answer is NO ..ITS NOT WRONG

FashionRe: Girls Who Wear Ankle-chain by fagin1982(m): 8:30pm On Sep 07, 2014
The wearing of the ankle chain or bracelet among prostitutes of today is a by-product of the 70's sexual revolution, but it goes further than that. In ancient Baal worship(paganism)the main thrust was life through sex(mainly illicit sex). Prostitution was heavy in this satanic religion,so the ankle chain was to them a means of identification in knowing who the prostitutes were. It demonstrates in point, servitude to a man same as the biblical significance of pierced ears in men. Today, because of some false sense of dignity, women wear ankle chains to reflect this same concept, and a lot of them are ignorant of the purpose of having them. Actually, today the ankle chain is a covert sign to would-be partners in fornication that the woman is available and open to sex.

Nairaland GeneralNew Year Resolutions To Help You Get Closer To God by fagin1982(op): 9:13am On Jan 01, 2014
While it's a good idea to take a look at your spiritual walk throughout the year, January 1st is often a time of renewal for Christian teens. A New Year, a New Start. So, instead of setting regular resolutions like losing weight, Buying a new Car ,Building a new house, etc., why not try to set goals to improve your relationship with God?
Here are 10 ways you can do just that:

Improve Your Prayer Life

Simple enough, right? Just get better at praying. It's not that easy. A lot of us make this resolution and soon fail, because they take too big a step at first. If you're not used to praying often, jumping into an active prayer life can be a daunting task. Maybe start off praying each morning when you get up, or even while you brush your teeth. Start off giving five minutes to God. Then maybe try adding another five minutes. Soon you'll find that you'll start going to God more often and for more things. Don't worry about what to talk to Him about, just talk. You'll be amazed by the results.

Read Your Bible in a Year

Getting into the habit of reading the Word is also a common New Year's resolution for many Christian teens. There are plenty of Bible reading plans out there that guide you through reading your Bible in a year. It just takes discipline to open up the book every night. You may not even want to read the entire Bible, but rather use a year to focus on a specific topic or area of your life that you want God to help you improve. Find a reading plan that works for you.

Help Other People

God calls on us throughout the Bible to do good works. Whether you adhere to the idea that you need good works to get to heaven, like Catholics do, or not, like most Protestants, helping others is still a part of a Christian walk. Most churches have outreach activities or you can even find local volunteer opportunities around.Do not be Rigid..Feel free to belong to any Church around your neighbourhood There are so many people who just need a bit of assistance, and helping others is a great way to set a Christian example.

Get Involved in Church

Most churches have youth groups or Bible studies geared toward Christian youths. If not, why not be the one to get a group together? Start your own Bible study or put together an activity that some of the other Christian teens at church can enjoy. A lot of youth groups meet one day a week, and those meetings are a great way to meet new people who believe and can help you grow in your walk.

Become a Better Steward

One of the most challenging issues for Christian teens is the idea of stewardship, which is the process of tithing. Most Christian teens don't make a lot of money, so it becomes harder to give. Typical teen activities like shopping and eating out make it difficult to have money left over. However, God calls on all Christians to be good stewards. In fact, money is mentioned far more often in the Bible than other topics like getting along with your parents or sex.

Use a Devotional

Reading your Bible is an essential part of anyone's Christian walk, because it keeps your head in God's Word. Still, using a devotional helps you take the concepts in the Bible and apply them to your everyday life. There are numerous devotionals available for Christian Teens, so you should be able to find one that fits your personality, interests, or your place in your spiritual growth.

Plant Some Seeds of Faith

How many times have you evangelized to friends or family. Make it your goal this year to talk to a certain number of people about your faith. While it would be great if someone converted or "got saved" through your discussions, don't get too caught up on that number. You'd be amazed how many people will end up believers from a discussion you have about what God has done in your life. It just may not happen while you know them. Also, use platforms like your Facebook or MySpace profiles to demonstrate your beliefs. Plant many seeds of faith and let them grow.

Get to Know Mom and Dad Better

One of the most difficult relationships in a Christian Youth life is with his or her parents. You're at a time in your life when you are now making your own decisions, but you will always be your parents' child. Your different viewpoints make for some interesting conflict. Yet, God dictates that we honor our parents, so take some time to get to know Mom and Dad a little better. Do things with them. Share bits of your life with them. Even a small amount of quality time with your parents will go a long way in helping your relationship.

Go On a Mission

Not all mission trips are to exotic places, but almost all mission trips will change you forever. Between the spiritual preparation before you leave on your trip to the work you will do on the trip itself, God works through you and for you as you see people eager to hear about Christ and as you hear their appreciation for the things you are doing on your trip.

.Bring Someone to Church

A simple idea, but it takes a lot of courage to ask a friend to come to church. Faith is something most Christian have difficulty discussing with non-Christian friends, because it is often something very personal. Yet, many Christians would never have come to Christ without that one friend who asked them to come to church or talk about their beliefs. For every person who might shoot you down, there are two or three other people who will be curious about why your faith is so important to you. Taking them to your youth group services or activities can help show them why.
