CelebritiesWe Need To Teach Men That A Woman’s Body Is Hers And Hers Alone – Burna Boy by faith2kool(op): 4:06am On Jun 05, 2020
Nigerian singer, Burna Boy created to the current tragedies plaguing the United States and Nigeria.

In the midst of all the tragedies happening in the word, Burna took to his Instagram page to state that rape, and racial injustice are crimes against humanity. He added that they are vicious, insidious, and violent acts that no human should commit or commend. Burna also spoke on how Black people deserve and require more than they’re currently getting.

Rape and racial injustice are crimes against humanity, they are vicious, insidious, and violent acts that no human should commit or commend. The stance on rape should be linear and final, there should be no grey areas, no “buts”, only that the perpetrator(s) of the act is to blame and the victim completely blameless.

From now on, men and women alike need to be educated. Men need to be taught the concept of consent, we need to teach them empathy and compassion. We need to teach men that a woman’s body is hers and hers alone. We need to end stigmatization and victimization of rape victims, it must STOP.

Black people deserve and require more than we’re currently getting! I implore you all to get involved, no contribution is too small, no platform is too small #nojusticenopeace #justiceforgeorgefloyd #justiceforuwa #stoprapeculture #justicefortina #stoppolicebrutality #blackouttuesday

CelebritiesI Need My Husband’s Consent To Play Erotic Roles –anita Joseph by faith2kool(op): 4:15pm On May 31, 2020
Dark and curvy actress, Anita Joseph has vowed not to give up on playing erotic roles, but then, she won’t act such roles without her husband’s seal of approval.

The thespian, who walked down the aisle with celebrity hypeman cum MC, Michael Fisayo Olagunju on February 14, 2020, has attested that marriage for her is indeed a worthwhile journey. “For me, marriage has been a marital bliss and will always be. My husband is my friend, so with God on our side, we plan to remain that way. As a newly married actress, I manage my time better. I create more time for my family and also mindful of the kind of roles I accept. I am not really an erotic role-playing actress, but if I get a role like that, and it is all about good interpretation, then my hubby has to approve. I know my husband won’t stop me from acting. He wouldn’t. It is my art and he wouldn’t want me to change, rather he complements and encourages me to achieve more,” she noted.Reacting to the social media prediction that her marriage would not survive the test of time, just like some of her colleagues, the actress said, “It’s up to God and man for marriages to end. It takes more personal effort, and that’s what makes marriage to last. My parents were married until death and I intend to leave that example for my kids, with God as my helper.

“However, if I am to counsel a heartbroken single lady right now, the most important thing she needs to know is that, there is life before (meeting) a man and there will be life after the man. The one who left you will make room for another to come. That’s life.”

Speaking further, Anita Joseph explains what it means to be ‘hour glass woman’. “HG woman as I fondly call them, is a woman who is confident about her body, a woman that is interested in her hidden beauty, and a woman who is bold of character and has the ability to pass every hurdle and whatever life throws at her. My brand, hourglass, represents beauty and brain, it oozes pride for every woman. I intend to do more with hourglass fashion world. I want to build hourglass into a brand that would be in every household in Nigeria,” she boasted.

CelebritiesI Can Only Marry A Man For Love, Not For His Size Of Manhood – Sylvia Edem by faith2kool(op): 2:16pm On May 31, 2020
She counseled: “This is for all the married couples out there; always sort out the differences between each other without a third-party, because third parties destroy homes. For me, I can only marry a man I love, not because of his wealth or size of manhood. Because after five years in marriage and those things are no longer there, it means I won’t be there for my husband. But if it was for love, I will stick to him through all circumstances.”

The movie star also advised her colleagues to devise other means of putting food on their tables. “I will advice entertainers to look for other means of businesses rather than depending solely on entertainment, in case what is going on in the country arises again,” she noted.

CelebritiesWhat Will Make Me Fall In Love –nollywood Actress Gloria Okafor by faith2kool(op): 1:56pm On May 31, 2020
Nollywood actress cum producer, Gloria Chisom Okafor has listed what will make a man win her heart. In this interview, the talk show host and CEO, Gloria Okafor Productions also reveals reasons she can’t marry an older man. Enjoy it.

How has life been since the COVID-19 lockdown?

Life has been very fine and I bless God for that. He has been faithful. It has been from grace to grace. I am healthy. However, I miss shooting on set, that’s my profession and what puts food on my table. I am not an idle person, so staying at home when I am suppose to be working looks so odd to me. Idleness irritates me but with the situation on ground, our health is more important than any other thing. So, staying at home is just the best, it will make me discover new ideas and also have time for myself.

What are your plans after the lockdown?

My plan after the lockdown is to swing into filming. I have scripts pilled up before the commencement of the lockdown. So, all hands will be on deck after the lockdown.

Do you have any intention producing a movie soonest?

Yes. I just finished working on my last movie. I produced Lost Conscience, which starred Padita Agu, Anthony Monjaro, Roxy Antak, Tonia Nwosu, and myself among others. It feels good seeing veterans coming back to our screen, and I am glad I made use of Padita Agu; she is such an angel. Lost Conscience is a family story that is good for all age groups, both children and adults, with great lessons.

How many movies have you produced so far?

I have produced six movies including My Father’s Advice, Isije, Not My Throne, Pages In-between, Hidden Flaws, and Lost Conscience. Now, I’m planning on my next movie.

What are your criteria for casting during production?

Most of our actors have been stereotyped, but not withstanding, before I invite an actor for a job, I must first digest the story and then go through the list of actors that fit the role. I can have two or three actors in case the one I have in mind isn’t available. If you are a fan of my movies, you will agree with me that they are unique in their own way and always have some lessons for the viewers. My movies have a way of touching lives positively.

What are your biggest fears of the COVID-19 lockdown?

My biggest fear of the lockdown is death. Everyday, we hear of people dying, and it feels bad losing loved ones.

Have you found yourself crushing on an actor?

No. For me, it’s strictly work and business.

What are your plans for the rest of the year?

My plan for the rest of the year is to produce more reputable movies. Also, Gloria Okafor Productions will be a household name in the entertainment industry. I want to touch lives positively through movies.

Are you in a relationship?

I wouldn’t want to talk about that. It’s my private life, please.

Who is the lucky man?

It is not for public consumption.

Would you be a baby mama?

No, I wouldn’t. Most women who are baby mamas didn’t pray to be one. It’s every woman’s dream and desire to have a home of her own. However, being a baby mama is a matter of choice.

Can you marry an older man?

No, I can’t. It’s my desire to marry a man of my age, so we can rock life together and see our children grow with us.

What will make you fall in love with a man?

There are basic things that will make me fall in love with a man. First, a man must have the fear of God, because with that he will be disciplined. There are things a carnal man will do that he won’t do. Second, a man must have understanding; he must be loving, caring, neat, and above all, supportive. For instance, my choice of career, not everyman will like a woman who is into entertainment for reason best known to them. But if you have a man who is supportive and understanding, he will help you build your career, and be with you all the way.

CelebritiesI Don’t Have A Girlfriend And I Can’t Find Someone To Grow Old With – Anthony by faith2kool(op): 11:19am On May 30, 2020
I Don’t Have A Girlfriend And I Can’t Find Someone To Grow Old With – Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua has opened up on his challenges in finding true love, stating that he’s yet to find someone to call his girlfriend.

The world heavyweight boxing champion spoke with to The Sun about life in lockdown with his family including becoming “super dad” to his four-year-old son, JJ, and how it has been hard for him to balance his profession together with his personal life.

AJ says: “I think you can date and still be a successful sportsman but it’s hard to find a balance and I would have to compromise — which I’ve not felt able to do.

“My dad never gave me advice about much. But in terms of relationships what I have learnt and what I tell my son is, it would be nice to find a high school sweetheart and to grow together because as you get older you get set in your ways.

“For me to have a relationship now means I would have to compromise and change my ways and I don’t know how easy that would be for me to do.

“So I do date but I don’t get to the stage where I actually put anyone into that position.

“I don’t have a girlfriend and I haven’t had one for a while. But as I get older I do think it would be nice to have someone, someone to grow with as well — but I honestly haven’t found anyone.”

The British Nigerian boxer also went on to say that he hopes to find a woman who would have to understand what it’s like to be famous,

He explains: “Maybe I need to get off the estate and start going to celebrity parties — maybe do something different.

“I hope I will — and probably meeting someone else who understands fame would make sense. I would hope so. But it needs to be someone down to earth, family-orientated – someone who can call my mum their second mum.

“It takes time to grow that and, as I said, now I am older I am stuck in my ways. As I get older it would be nice to bring someone into my world but it’s dependent on who and I just haven’t found someone yet.

“Maybe we can go on a hunt. We have all the time now.”

Joshua also revealed how he has become super-dad while in lockdown with his four-year-old son, JJ

AJ says: “I started off as super-dad and then that slowly went out the window and to be honest he’s watching way too much TV now.

“The only thing he wants to do is watch Paw Patrol and Ryan’s World – there’s no way you’d get him watching Joe Wicks.”

“At home, he doesn’t really think of me as a famous boxer or anything like that. I’m not a superstar and he doesn’t think so either. He knows I fight but that’s all.

“I always keep that stuff away from home. I’m not like that at home – and I’m not even like that when I go out, really.”

AJ, who has been home-schooling his son doesn’t think he would be sending back to school when the lockdown come to an end.

The heavyweight says: “The next conversation is about him going back to school — although I’m not too sure if we’ll send my boy back to school just yet.”

While boxing fans want to see him fight British rival Tyson Fury, AJ says: “In my own mind I had mentally written off most of this year but, if I was to fight this year, it would probably be November or December.

“It’s difficult at the moment knowing how you cover the costs, and whether you could charge people in the circumstances for pay per view.”

On how he’s been keeping fit, AJ explains: “It’s my lifestyle. That’s what I’ve done all my life – instead of going to college, I went to the school of boxing. I learnt how to fight.

“So I’m still doing my studying, I’m still doing my education but I’ve got a key to my local gym which I’m allowed to go in. You need discipline and that’s one thing I’ve got personally, I don’t need to be told or pushed – it’s in my character.

“I just hit the bags, skip and it’s the first time in my whole boxing career where I’ve been left alone.

“Normally I’ve got someone in my ear, telling me what to do, how to do it and I’ve actually really enjoyed being on my own. It’s been a blessing.

“And there’s nobody to spar with so you don’t get hit — that’s not always a bad thing!”

He went on: “My workout regime is always boxing and it’s one of the things I love most about boxing. Out of all sports, you really don’t need much to get started.

Well what I can actually say about the organization of the contest, hmm…
They actually did hosted it well and with all sense of fairness besides it’s a nice thing to do.
With such organization, I think it will attract more youths to be well exposed in terms of their passion, not every youth out there is willing to take the risk cause some of them have this fear of not winning but I hope this platform helps in bringing them out of their shell just like me.

What were your challenges during the contest and how were you able to overcome them?

My challenges during the contest was to get voters, it was really hard convincing them, some of them think is another way of hacking their accounts but I humbled myself by begging and convincing them, never took any of their insultive words to heart, Let’s just say it’s God.

How do you feel coming out 1st runner-up?

Like a star (Laughs)

What do you plan to do with the fame and popularity the contest have given you?

I do believe with the fame and popularity my talent will be known.setup a brand make money and keep the same going

Where do you intend seeing yourself in the next 5 years?

I see myself as a star

What’s your Favorite Quote?

you are from a poor background it doesn’t mean your back should be on the ground

Any Shout-out or final words?

Well to the organization, Please keep up the Good work, it’s really appreciated.

I also want to give a big shout out to Felix for this great opportunity I love you so much

I’m gonna make you proud and all thanks to God Almighty

4. Try to show interest in things she enjoys. Does she like cooking? Help her! Does she like sports? Play it with her! Does she like art? Watch it with her!
5. Consider her opinion before making a decision.
Ask her what she thinks and honestly consider it.
6. Be forgiving. There is no better way to love someone than to openly forgive and forget. Holding a grudge will not improve your relationship.
7. Plan a small trip. Take her to a place where you can spend quality time.
8. Set goals together.
If you know from each other what you are working toward, it is easier to support each other. Also, having goals together will bring you closer.
9. Admit your mistakes. Being open and honest, showing that you too are imperfect will make her feel closer to you.
10. Have her back. If you get in a situation where you have to choose between your wife and others, choose her. Especially when it is a situation with your family. She already feels like she took you away from them, she needs to feel that you don’t hold that against her.

The Federal Government has declared Monday and Tuesday 26 as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-Fitri.

The Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, who made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, congratulated the Muslim faithful for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.

Aregbesola called on them to replicate the life of kindness, love, tolerance, peace and good neighbourliness as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad. He also expressed his concern about ethnic conflicts that had resurfaced in some parts of Northern Nigeria.

He advised Nigerians to see themselves as one and learn to tolerate one another despite their ethnic and religious differences.

Aregbesola assured Nigerians of the commitment of the regime of the President, Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), against COVID-19 with the cooperation of all Nigerians.

The minister commended security agencies for the successes recorded in the fight against the Boko Haram insurgency in the North East.

Nairaland GeneralMan Arrested For Killing His Cousin Brother Because Of N2million by faith2kool(op): 1:51pm On May 21, 2020
https://tigblog.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/woman-dies-during-sex-with-a-policeman-in-ado-ekiti.jpg

The rate of crime these days is so alarming, you don’t know who to trust again.

The police in Auchi, Edo State, on Tuesday, arrested a 30-year-old man, Endurance Eshegbai, popularly called Koma, for the murder of his cousin, Usman AbdulLateef, over the sale of a parcel of land for N2m.

AbdulLateef, a native of Akpekpe, was declared missing last Wednesday after he left home with Eshegbai to an Automated Teller Machine point for a transaction, but never returned.

His body was later found buried in a bush along the Auchi-Igarra Road.

Eshegbai had earlier been invited by the police, being the last person the deceased interacted with on the day he went missing, but he was released after questioning.

It was gathered that the Azomode Age Grade members were also involved in the search for AbdulLateef.

While investigation by the police at the Auchi Divisional Headquarters was ongoing, the family of the deceased was said to have contacted the Auchi branch of the GTBank and notified his account manager about the development and this led to the bank flagging his account.

However, Eshegbai ran out of luck while attempting to make withdrawals from the deceased’s account on Tuesday as the bank immediately called the police and the family, and in the process, Eshegbai was arrested and he allegedly confessed to have killed his cousin over a N2m land deal.

AbduLateef’s corpse was recovered by the police and members of the Auchi Vigilante Squad and buried on Tuesday according to Islamic rites.

SportsHow I Made Kanu Angry At Arsenal – Cesc Fabregas by faith2kool(op): 1:27pm On May 21, 2020
https://tigblog.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/how-i-made-kanu-angry-at-arsenal-cesc-fabregas.png

Former Arsenal captain, Cesc Fabregas, says he made Nigerian Nwankwo Kanu angry during their time at the London club.

The Spanish midfielder, now with Monaco, joined the Gunners as a teenager in 2003 from Barcelona and was highly rated by manager Arsene Wenger, but largely unknown to the more established Arsenal stars.

The 33-year-old revealed that while trying to impress the manager and his teammates in his first training at the club, he tackled Kanu, which made the Nigerian unhappy.

“My first training when I joined Arsenal, I was all in my head trying to impress and I made a tackle on Kanu and he was so upset with me,” he told Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, during an Instagram live video.

“When you’re young, sometimes you don’t think; you just want to go there and prove yourself without realising that you’re playing alongside World Cup winners. At that moment you just want to do your best and most times, the passion gets the best out of you,” he added.

Both players featured for the Gunners for one season before Kanu left for Portsmouth in 2004, after spending five years at the club.

Fabregas went on to become a club legend at the North London side, scoring 57 goals and providing 92 assists in 304 appearances.

Nairaland GeneralHealth Minister Sacked For Alleged COVID-19 Scam by faith2kool(op): 11:51am On May 21, 2020
https://tigblog.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/health-minister-sacked-for-alleged-covid-19-scam.png

Bolivia’s health minister has been arrested on suspicion of corruption related to the over-priced purchase of ventilators to fight COVID-19, the police chief said on Wednesday.

Marcelo Navajas was detained by police in La Paz, Colonel Ivan Rojas said, a day after interim President Jeanine Anez ordered an investigation.

Two other health ministry officials have also been arrested.

Bolivia bought 179 ventilators from a manufacturer in Spain for $27,683 each, costing almost $5 million.

That was funded by the Inter-American Development Bank. Two of the bank’s employees have been summoned to make witness statements.

But it later transpired that the manufacturer was offering ventilators for 9,500-11,000 euros each ($10,312-$11,941).

Another Spanish company acted as an intermediary.

The scandal came to light at the end of last week when intensive care doctors complained that the ventilators were not suitable for Bolivian intensive care units.

It then came out that they had been bought at grossly inflated prices.

Bolivia has reported 4,500 COVID-19 cases and 190 deaths. On March 17, the government closed the landlocked South American country’s borders and instigated a general lockdown.

Nairaland GeneralAPC Should Continue Ruling Nigeria –oluwo Of Iwo by faith2kool(op): 11:52pm On May 20, 2020

Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, has said the ruling All Progressives Congress should remain in the saddle because of its anti-corruption stance, which has created public awareness about the evil of corruption.

Akanbi said this while receiving a team led by the Osun State Commissioner for Education Mr Folorunso Oladoyin, during an inspection visit to the proposed permanent site of the newly-approved Federal College of Education, Iwo, on Tuesday.

A statement by the Press Secretary to the Oluwo, Alli Ibrahim, quoted the monarch as saying, “I left Nigeria in the 1980s for greener pasture because of corrupt leaders presiding over our affairs. I’m happy that the new hope is here and so elated to be part of the promising structure.

“For now, the progressives should continue ruling. There is a public awareness against corruption.”

CelebritiesI See My Wife As My Girlfriend – Actor Victor Osuagwu by faith2kool(op): 9:25am On May 20, 2020
https://tigblog.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/i-see-my-wife-as-my-girlfriend-actor-victor-osuagwu.png

The news of the removal of Chief Emeka Ihedioha as governor of Imo State was like a tornado to many within and outside the state. One person that was more affected is comic actor, Victor Osuagwu, who was appointed Director of Arts and Culture barely one week before the announcement. Osuagwu, a graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State and former Chairman, Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Lagos State, speaks to SAM ANOKAM about his plans for Imo State, his next move and his many other responsibilities.

How did you receive the news of Emeka Ihedioha’s removal from office as you have barely sat down in your new office?

I’m a human being. It was a real shock. I wasn’t expecting what happened based on what great job that was already taking place in Owerri. If you work with Ihedioha you will know that you are working with somebody who is intelligent in every sphere.

You could be intelligent academically but when you are intelligent academically and also have the ability to manage things, then you are really intelligent. He is somebody who has the passion of bringing good governance to the people of Imo state.

He was not working for himself. It was a very big shock to all those who voted for him. I was there with him from the beginning and you could see how people embraced and welcomed him in every community in the whole local governments.

It is like they saw a messiah coming to rescue them from the grips and shackles of bondage they have found themselves in.

When God wants to do certain things, He does it in a mysterious way. It could be a way of exposing some of the people who are still in that same government that have nothing to give out to the people.

What were your plans as Director of Arts and Culture?

One of my plans was to use arts and culture to create value in the state. I wanted to use that opportunity to touch the lives of a lot of people. To bring out the best of the cultural heritage of Imolites because in Imo state, we have a lot of cultures from different communities.

Every Christmas in every community, they have one thing or the other they are celebrating and bring the people together.

Wherever you are you would want to come and witness such events and that was exactly what we planned – to bring to the people to see because the world have not known a lot about the Imo people and that was our target to expose them to the global village.

We are already working on a programme line up for it. The programme would have commenced February 14 which was Valentine’s day. We had lots of programmes like variety shows, culture, dance, etc. I have in mind to have an inter cultural festival with other states like Rivers, Enugu, Anambra among others.

In Rivers states for instance, they have beautiful cultures, that is where I schooled. We wanted to do a whole lot of things which we lost in the past administration because the arts and culture were rendered useless.

The arts and culture which I was grew up in Lagos was that every month, there is always one event at the theatre that attracts people. I am talking about stage.

This is where the actors participate along with the audience on stage and you know it is fulfilling watching your old stars display on stage. I wanted to bring other stars to be part of this regardless if you are not from Imo.

Let’s assume the present governor reads this story and calls you to work with him, will you accept?

As long as there is no political attachment to it, I will do it because it is my state. You cannot leave such innovation, creativity to die like that.

I will do it after consultations because I would consult with people that made me to come me into the politics of the state. The target of every other person in the state is to make sure that Imo will have one or two things to contribute to make the state a hub of entertainment.

We cannot come to Lagos and contribute our quota in our little way without bringing it down home. One day you will definitely go down home and they will ask you questions saying you went to promote others states and you never thought of your own.

It was an avenue for me because I have prepared my mind to dish out everything on the inside me. I have a lot of stuff inside me.

With all these what are those things you can do on your own for Imo?

The fact is this; I, as an entertainer cannot sit idle just because I am out of government. You must create something. Our idea is to make Imo the hub of entertainment not just because of politics or whatever but because of the immense potential the state has.

I have been doing it before now. I started creating entertainment in Imo since 2003. I was the first person that staged the show called, ‘Owerri Must Laugh’ and I continued with it to 2008.

I brought in a lot of stars those days. I remember bringing KC Presh, Marvellous Benji, China, I Go Die, Okey Bakkassi, Charles Awurum, Ibu etc.

It used to come up every last Sunday of December. It became a show that everybody looked forward to. Every Christmas people will be expecting it until when some people hijacked the title but they didn’t know that it was registered.

For the past eight years, some other people began to use it not knowing that it was registered. But as a creative and busy person, I overlooked it. When I was made the Director of Imo arts and culture, I had already designed another name for it.

We cannot just abandon our state especially when it comes to entertainment and development. We must contribute to it. I am planning a health summit which I did in Lagos in 2017.

We were able to give over a thousand people free medical test and we also supported some of them in the treatment of their ailment from eye to kidney etc. It was awesome. I want to also bring same down to Imo then to Abia.

What are you working on now?

Like this Nollywood health and entertainment summit that I am planning for October, I have almost 72 episodes of work that I did with my friend when I left office as chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Lagos state branch.

We are still scouting for the marketing. I am planning to start another one and you know what is happening in the country now especially with the coronavirus, we have been thinking whether it will stop us but we are not relenting as our fingers are crossed.

What are your thoughts about this new AGN?

I must tell you the truth, I am impressed with the new government of AGN led by Emeka Rollas. If they continue with this drive, in the next two to three years, Nollywood would be proud to say yes, we have a change.

So many people have a negative impression about the actors guild and you know some years past, the association has been going through some administrative hiccups until Emeka Rollas came in and there is stability and peace.

In any government that there is problem, it is not possible to grow in it. The past government suffered a lot of hitches that many people broke away from AGN. They wanted to form their own guild. Some people were there fighting that the president was not properly voted into power and a lot of other things.

Some people might be doing all those things intentionally to make sure that things did not work well as long as the source where they are coming from is paying them. There could be somebody there sponsoring somebody. I have no doubt about the efficiency of this new executive.

Nigeria is blessed with talents but we do not have support. The little support we are getting are coming from private individuals. If the federal government focus their attention.

Today we know America for entertainment because so many people who have not traveled to America would say they are a super power just by watching their films. And sometimes it is a project work. In some African countries their government are also supporting their project work which is not done in Nigeria.

Though some parastatals are beginning to be interested in Nollywood but it is high time the federal government look into the matter of entertainment because there is nothing entertainment is coming from them. Jonathan’s government really supported the entertainment industry.

If companies invest in the entertainment industry, they would make huge profit. The public should see us as ambassadors of peace and unity because we bring happiness to your doorstep.

You are a knight, a chief, a community leader; you have so many titles, how do you combine all of these with acting?

As an entertainer, I see myself rooted in culture. I love my tradition. When they made me president general of my community, I never saw it as a burden but as a blessing because stuff like this would bring out the best in you.

As a knight, I see myself as a committed Christian because you cannot be given a knight if you are not committed. When I say committed, I didn’t mean by giving money, I do that but that is not the criteria. Some people wonder how I attend church regularly as a busy actor.

If my church in Lagos and my village have like a three days programme, I will attend all of them. If they have 17 days programme, I would still attend all of them. I think of my fans, those who made me and wonder how to pay them back. It is through this way.

My tenure as president general would soon end. My people are already asking that I continue but I said no, let others also be given opportunity to serve. Aside of these, family is there. you must give family 80 per cent of your attention.

And I thank God for my family. With my wonderful wife who understands me right from the beginning, I am blessed. We were friends.

I see my wife as my girlfriend to this day. She knows everything that I do and I try as much as I can not to hurt her. I thank God for the grace.

I try as much as possible to bring my community together. If you come to my community there are a lot of things going on.

The school that was abandoned for years is having a facelift. We try to attract investors. We are currently doing a water project soon to be commissioned.

According to Toke Makinwa, she has never been interested in the status of a man for her but a lot of men cannot handle successful women because of financial insecurity and status.

She said: “A lot of women don’t have any problems with dating who…It’s not about status for me. For me I’m more interested in a guy who has purpose, a guy who is grounded in his purpose, someone who knows where he is going”

“Because money can up and leave. You can marry someone who has money today and in two years the guy doesn’t have all that money anymore.” “But I feel like sometimes, guys think they can handle it, and they think it is nice on paper, even in that reality, a lot of them cannot handle a successful woman.”

PoliticsWike Orders Task Force To Identify Hotels Operating For Demolition by faith2kool(op): 8:02pm On May 09, 2020
https://tigblog.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/gov-wike-declared-total-lockdown-in-some-part-of-rivers-state.jpg

Governor Wike gave the directive on Thursday while inaugurating the Rivers State COVID-19 Local Government Task Force at the Government House in Port Harcourt.

He also charged the officials to identify erring beer parlours.

“From tomorrow, move into any hotel that is operating, identify it and we will bring down the hotels.

“I have the political will. Those people who disobey will face the consequences.”

Governor Wike said that the officials must be decisive to ensure that the virus is not accommodated in the state, adding that they are being drafted to fight an invisible killer as well as defend the state.

“Nobody should come from outside to compound our problems and import this invisible killer. We will not accept that”.

Governor Wike appealed to the residents of the state to sacrifice their time in the fight against the pandemic, emphasising that all hands must be on deck.

“We should not allow what is happening to continue, we don’t have the capacity to face it and there will be no support from any quarter,” he said.

The Governor informed members of the Rivers State COVID-19 Local Governments Task Force that they will be on the payroll of the State Government.

He said that the Task Force will enforce key aspects of the State Government’s directive on COVID-19 in all the Local Government Areas.

He also instructed that hotels with existing guests should send their lists to his office for scrutiny and approval.
