He even wedded her in court secretly, without telling we (his parents). This is somebody that is still eating mama thank you. how do i face this woman? my other children are nothing to write home about. no atom of respect for me. i have been praying and asking God for forgiveness. i have also gone through several deliverance yet it’s getting worse.

“Please what should i do please post. my pastor advised me to confess to my in-laws but i don’t know how to go about that. A mother of three, Kafayat Alake, on Wednesday, attempted to commit suicide by jumping into the Osun River in Osogbo, because of  hard times as the reason for her action.

According to Punch Kafayat say that she had three children and her husband was resident in Lagos.

Kafayat, who was breathing with difficulty when she was rescued, said she was tired of life and should be left to die.

“I am Kafayat Alake from Alapaaro’s Compound, Osogbo. I am a mother of three. My husband lives in Lagos. I am fed up with life because things are hard,” she muttered.

Speaking to our correspondent, the man who rescued her, David Johnson, said he saw the woman climbing the Gbodofon Bridge in an attempt to commit suicide around 1pm.

Johnson stated, “I work in a nearby hotel. Some people came for a drink and after they left, I stood in front of the hotel.

“Suddenly, people started shouting for help and I quickly rushed towards the bridge.

“The woman had already jumped into the river and I had to rush in the direction where the water was flowing to and I jumped into the river too.

“I struggled to reach her, because the water was sweeping her towards the deeper part of the river and I eventually pulled her out. In the process of trying to save her, I lost my mobile phone.”

Another eyewitness, simply identified as Dayo, said he saw Kafayat climbing the bridge from afar and quickly rushed to the scene.

He said before he could get to the bridge, the woman had already jumped into the river.

Personnel of the Osun State Ambulance Scheme later arrived the scene and conveyed the woman to an undisclosed hospital in Osogbo.

Rev. (Dr.) John Kome, Senior Pastor of God’s Kingdom Christian Centre International (GKCC) and Secretary of African Democratic Congress (ADC) Lagos Chapter while speaking on COVID-19 says that Boko Haram believes they are killing for Allah especially when they kill Christians.

“I have been in the Christian race for about 41 years, I have been a Bible student these years. If I should advise Christians I will tell them that the Bible talks about the last day that we will see ‘so so’ things happening around the world we should know that God is about to wind up human existence.

“These signs at both the national and global level are scriptural. Jesus told us that towards the end of the world, His enemies will kill His followers thinking they are working for God. This is exactly what is going on as the Boko Haram sect thinks they are killing for Allah especially when they kill Christians. Jesus predicted these before He left the earth. Does Allah send people to kill their fellow humans? I am thankful to God for northern Christians who stand for their faith even in the face of losing their lives. If it were to be Southern Christians that are faced with similar situations many will deny their faith.

“I pray that what is happening in the North will not happen in the South because many Christians will go out of faith. What we see here in the South is more of commercial Christianity, they are not focused, they fill up the churches but can easily deny their faith.

“The Christianity here in the South is questionable. Take a gun and pretend to attack a church here in the south, tell them to denounce their faith or face the music. I tell you 50 percent will immediately denounce Christ. Again, it is the fulfillment of prophecies that we are witnessing with coronavirus (COVID-19). I advise Christians to take hygiene precautions.

“Moreover people should be closer to God and stop living in deceit. People should not wait to be told at this time to seek true salvation of their souls. While the world may seem to be in turmoil because of coronavirus, God’s work cannot be stopped as 73,929 people accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior in Pakistan.

According to Wikipedia, Pakistan has the second-largest number of Muslims in the world. They comprise more than 95 percent of the population.
A Crusade In Pakistan

On March 7th 2020, a Christian crusade in Pakistan took place. More than 80,000 people were said to have attended the prayer festival.

Witnesses from the event said that the rain poured down straight for four days before the day of the crusade. However, “the clouds parted and the rain stopped an hour and a half before the crusade began.” And amazingly, the rain never came back for the entire remainder of the event. Moreover, Pakistanis who were present in the crusade witnessed God’s healing power and miracles!

Preaching The Gospel

A 16-year-old teenager who killed a 51-year-old man that allegedly attempted to rape her, was arraigned before an Ebute Meta Magistrate Court sitting in the Yaba area of Lagos State on Tuesday March 24.

The Senior Secondary School (SSS) 3 pupil was arraigned on a one-count charge of killing one Babatunde Ishola on March 7, 2020 at Nwadolu Street, Aboru in Alimosho area of the state by stabbing him with a knife.

Chief Magistrate Adedayo did not take the plea of the teenager who she remanded at the Correctional Home For Girls in Idi-Araba.

The police was directed to send a duplicate copy of the case file to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice, before adjournment of the case till April 27.

It should be recalled that Lagos Police Spokesperson, Elkana Bala confirmed the incident few days ago, where he’d said,

The body was evacuated to the hospital for post-mortem examination. The suspect was arrested and the knife she used in stabbing the deceased person was recovered.

“In her statement, the suspect said the deceased person, who is her father’s friend, invited her to his house to assist him in fetching water, as he lives alone.

She said she has always been helping him with the house chores but that while she was helping out with the water on Saturday, he attempted raping her. Then she picked a knife from the room and stabbed.

“The suspect was taken to hospital for medical and forensic examination. The Commissioner of Police Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department Yaba for discreet investigation.”

Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli has shocked the world after announcing that the country will not shut down places of worship over the Coronavirus pandemic because that is where true healing is found.

On Sunday, Magufuli told a congregation in Tanzania that the COVID-19 virus is Satanic and cannot survive in the body of Christ.

Magufuli has been on the receiving end of social media criticism for allegedly misleading his people to assemble in churches, which puts them at a higher risk of contracting and spreading the virus.

In South Korea, a patient code named 'Patient 31' is allegedly responsible for more than 60% of the country's reported cases of COVID-19 after attending a church service with thousands of people. South Korea has more than 8,700 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and at least 90 deaths.

Across the world, nations have however suspended all public gatherings including church services as one of the ways to minimize the chances of the virus spreading.

There was drama in a small village in Kitui as shocked residents turned up to witness a bizarre incident where a middle aged man thought it was a good idea to seal wife’s private parts with glue after reports reached him that his wife was seeing other men. The man identified as Denis Mumo, who is a casual laborer is said to be away most of the time and came back to the shocking news that his wife had been bringing other men home.

The residents who had turned up to lynched the man who seal wife’s private parts with glue were disappointed as the man had fled. They only found the wife in excruciating pain, unable to pass urine and they took her to hospital.

Upon carrying out investigations, Mumo found texts messages and nude pictures on the wife’s phone. One nude picture said to have irked the man is one with the caption showing that the wife had sex with another man over the weekend.

” I was shocked to find that my wife of 10 years has been cheating on me with many men. I am really disappointed”, said Mumo. It’s at this juncture the enraged husband is reported to have decided to seal his Wife’s private parts with glue

With the help of a neighbor who is on the run, Mumo tied up his wife and applied super glue on her private parts.

The 36-year old man arrested by police on Saturday was arraigned at Kitui law courts on Monday. The court directed the accused be remanded for 7 days to allow police complete investigations. He will face charges of domestic violence with assault and damaging the reproductive organs of his wife.

The wife was rushed to hospital where doctors said they will perform surgery to restore her private parts. Mumo appeared remorseful, saying he doesn’t regret the heinous act.
