PeaceJoyLove: I have Ethiopian friends and I have studied it well. I have Amhara and Oromo as close friends. Guess what? Trigiyan is like 5 million population while Oromo is 50 million. Yet, Trigiyan is the stronghold. These are internal issues. You need to know about them well.
So, let us talk about Biafra we are in. Just only one question. On what ground are you breaking away? Did they prevent you from Contesting? Did they stop you from aspiring to be in Aso Rock? No no no. So, explain how you have been marginalized. If you can't, then, you are greedy. See, the whole world sees ibo as greedy people. I know you will come for me, but I will write the truth. And I pray you all listen. But I am a warrior. I will slam whoever tries rubbish with me. He's, you are greedy. You want to leave Naija, and you want to be President. Una no well. You want to be President but you destroyed hour APGA. Una dey mad. You want to be president you opposed APC for good 7 years and run want to use the platform.
Now, let's talk about others. Nigeria has love 550 tines now. Ibo has ruled once. What else do they want the other have not got? What about Itshekiri? What about Tivs? What about others? If Ibo cannot compete, he cannot get to Aso Rock. No one will hand over also rock heh because uni feels it is their time. Nope. You compete. It is presently the south time in APC. The APC they worked against. So help them if they get the ticket there which I doubt. And the person who has been using them is Atiku. Let them confront him in PDP. Nope. It is their fellow southerners they would fight. Let ibo be courageous for ones.
So why is Nnamdi Kanu not saved by the British? With all he wrote online about sponsoring wars and with the huge words he wrote online? I laugh at ibos. They are strategic. They ar free I approach the world court. So help them God.
Talking about Ukraine vs Russia, this is a clear violation of breaking an international rule. So, they are two different cases.
Reno can not be appointed to an internal peacekeeping position with all h has been writing. It shows he is a tribal person who is partial. And ibo is trying to use this. It will only reduce you to nothing and the whole world won't even respect you again.
Ibo should compete with others and stop being "uselessly smart". No one will hand over you the key if Aso Rock. You need to compete with others. Period. You like writing long rubbish |

MrMcJay: Since the current head of the NIPC who happens to be the first from the South was appointed, Yewande Sadiku has been embroiled in one legal tussle or the other since she assumed office as NIPC Executive Secretary. This is usually instigated by the usual quarters.
2019, Ali Sani versus Yewande Sadiku. Yusuf Mustapha versus Yewande Sadiku Babangida Nguroje versus Yewande Sadiku
2020, Aura Maisamari versus Yewande Sadiku
If you check the writer of the petition the Efcc is acting on, you will see that it will be from the usual suspects. They are pained that a Southerner occupies a position that has never been occupied by a Southerner.
Here's the list of former Executive Secretaries of the NIPC Mustapha Bello Abdulkadir Hassan Saratu Umar
This is the same thing they did to Mrs. Azinge of the Corporate Affairs Commission until she was hounded out of office. She was the first Registrar General of the Cac from the South in more than 2 decades.
While most Northerners are sensible and willing to work with anyone, there are a few Northerners who feel that they can't work with a Southerner and feel certain public sector offices are their birthright. The irony is that those with this kind of mentality are very dumb and unproductive. That mentality is a very foolish one and people like that need to be disgraced and cut to size. It would have been pardonable if they're at least competent, but No, it's usually iti boribos. Look at the state of CAC since Azinge was removed. The Commission has been falling, that things taken for granted before now looks like rocket science |

jaytii: 92% of young Nigerians can't think for themselves, their mind flows with the latest trends.
If you are celebrity, media personality or a politician and you want to gain cheap "mediocre" popularity, tell the youths what they want to hear right now. If you also want to make silly enemies that wouldn't be able to point out the exact reason why they hate you, says things free of emotional biases and sentiments. They'll hate you for life.
They hate to hear you express yourself, but they force you to accept their dumb thoughts. Tragic! Like I said above, they are called "masses" for a reason. "They hate to hear you express yourself, but they force you to accept their dumb thoughts" - this is so apt. It's so baffling that people that want freedom of speech would cuss & hound anyone that has a different train of thought. Such kind of people should never be allowed anywhere near power cos e go worse. |

tesppidd: There's been a lot of cyberspace bullying taking place since 2015 and it's even worse with the endsars protests situation.
Truthfully speaking the government has been wrong in some instances and protesters have been wrong in some instances as well.
But you dare not talk about what the protesters have done wrong over the past 3 weeks.
You dare not!
Media personalities, the so called music celebrities and the so called nollywood celebrities would do, say and post whatever it takes to be seen to be "on the side of the people" when in actual fact, deep in their hearts they may think otherwise.
90 percent of them are in this for clout chasing.
Desmond Eliot made a huge mistake; speaking out with honesty and objectivity. In this situation you do not speak with honesty and objectivity!
You make sure you side with "the people" by every means necessary. I agree with you to a great extent. But why do you say that you dare talk about the wrong doing of the protesters? And that you should side with the people by all means necessary. As a fact , "the people" or masses have herd mentality. They are called masses for a reason. It is for the sole reason that majority of the people are daft, unthinking, etc that governments became necessary. Why are they hounding anyone that has a different opinion. They say they want freedom to post anything but cannot tolerate others who have a different view from them. Always cancelling this person or that person. |

chocolatelady: I am not a lawyer but I think that supreme court goofed on this one. The best bet is to wait after inauguration and order a fresh election. They can still reserve the judgement on a latter date just as they normally do. Giving the sore losers the winner is pure disenfranchisement of the whole state that voted for the APC. The case of Amechi vs Omehia is totally different. Applying the rule of supreme court on zamfara to their case means that Amechi shouldn't have been declared the governor elect but the opposition party that came 2nd in the election. I have never heard of wasted votes before except from this present set of supreme court judges. Just like Sagay suggested, APC should apply for the review of the justice. But I fear that the egoistic nature of the supreme court judges might not allow them to reverse itself. The ruling in Zamfara is unheard of. Wow. I love your thought process! I just hate that I had to read through a lot of garbage, tons of insults to get to yours- they'd only curse & insult without looking at an issue critically. |

Felixv: And is there panic now. Are people rushing to the banks to withdraw their funds
We are talking of money the banks were given in 2005 or thereabouts- we know for a fact that the money did not translate to cheaper loans for the people - even if the money they got belongs to us
The point is that we should not be funding the extravagant lifestyle of bankers.
Most of us would rather not go near a bank in the country because it is a known fact that they are the main bastions of corruption. The keepers of illegal funds Thank you! You just gave an exact reply I wanted to give him our misguided knowledgeable friend here and the other block head- FarA(something ). In inclusion to the extravagant lifestyle of bankers who would rather sack their workers than cut down on their outrageous trifling, theres's also the issue of these banks within those years of 2006-15 loaning this money to the Nigerian government and stste governments even at excessive interest rates. Banks were really milking the nation but instead of employing more people, investing in critical SME areas or embarking on a technological turn around, they (I.e. the bank executives) chose to frolick and get themselves invited to every private jet birthday party, boat cruises and other lewd excesses. You can't even defend these banks even if you want to using the American instance of bailouts. American banks prominently have a strong history of helping to grow the economy in no small measure. They gave out loans! The stimulated the economy to great booms by giving to small businesses. They gave loans for housing, education, anything. Let us even be reminded that the reason why they needed the bailout was because of the bubble the housing loans created. But in Nigeria, pfffttt... Banks give loans only to politicians, oil magnates with a miserly less than 5 per cent contribution to our GDP, while ignoring the real growers of our economy. In Nigeria pre 2015, the only people that benefited from the mindless fraud of milking this nation were either politicians and their people and the bankers who kept these looted funds for them only to lend them back at outrageous rates. Really, it was the biggest scam. |

When we had NITEL, we had only 33000 active lines.
Even the sale of NEPA is one of the best things we've done. The only thing wrong with Power now is that we've not allowed market forces to determine price of power and that Transmission is still in the hands of FG.
NNPC has always been riddled with corruption and even under the incorruptible Buhari, corruption is now worse in NNPC.
Atiku is right, NNPC assets should be sold. Lmao. Look at you. I'm in ssupport of free enterprise but I can not support the sale of NNPC now because it is clear that its sale would be for greed. Atiku & his co politician thieves would be scrambling for pieces of it. They would just make small money off sale of crude and those million dollar sums that were hitherto small for the nation needs would become large sums in the hands of a few individuals. That FG is still holding onto Transmission & Generation is what is saving our power sector. Before in previous govts, generation used to be as huge problem and the gap was glaring. But now, these your private Discos can't even keep up to distribute half of the amount generated. And, market forces are currently determining the price of electricity its just that like the Discos, you're angry that the current govt is living up to its billing to effectively regulate the sector and putting a cap on their inefficiency and incompteence which is costing the Discos a lot that they so much want to push the cost of this incompetence onto their consumers. |
