Nigeria had become a laughing stuff long time ago. Different stories almost every week. Watch out for another terrible story again in the next forthnight. Only God knows when things will change in this useless country especially our leaders. |

People have spoken it all, since the morning is comming from your working place I would advise you to raise an alarm and let them know what is happening and probably return the money. If it is NYSC money you can take it because there are lots of corruption in any government establishments. |
That's it, Nigeria and corruption |
@labiyemmy, I just want to commend you for the good work you are doing, like what some people have said you don't have to insult or even reply those people that go against it. Everybody knows the suitation in Nigeria and in Africa at large. Things are not organised hence it will be a surprise that something like this can come out from Nigeria. Those that goes against it, it's the condition of the country that let them say what they are saying especially consider the high level of scams in Nigeria. You don't have to be annoyed. The fact that you can offer demo is very good and tells me that you know what you are doing. I am one of the people that believe nothing work in Nigeria but only when government is involved not individual like you. I know that by the time one or two persons buy it and they give testimonies many people will have interest. If I have a car I could have come for the demo to see how it works. I want you to take what critics are saying as a means of improving your products. More grease to your elbow |
pussy_full:who told you that an effort was made or you want to tell me that they put money in thier pockets? Maybe energy crisis will be solved in the year 2095 because you didn't give definite date when it will be solved, even, Yarudua is not given date even here in the uk, it takes more than a few rotating cameras to keep the people under control even if it functions:I hope some patriots will have here can read these, but I know that truth is better |
Majority of his vocabularies are Latin, but English is our official language for God sake, why should somebody be speaking Latin instead of English? |
DeepZone:It's not that whether they came back to steal the equipment or they didn't finish the work. It will simply not work because nothing succeed in Nigeria. Why is it like this I don't know, only God can tell what is wrong with this country. so it is not a surprise to me. CCTV is not the first thing that has not worked in this country. When Nigeria launched NIGCOMSAT satellite in a far away China, I was happy hoping that communications will become very cheap in this country, up till now I have not seen the effect of the satellite. it is very shameful. Corruption is a big problem and a big threat to Nigeria. |
Court stops ceding of Bakassi to Cameroon A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has restrained the Federal Government from going ahead with the final ceding of the oil-rich Bakassi Peninsula to Cameroon slated for August 14, 2008. Making the preservative order on Thursday, Justice Mohammed Umar said, the justice of this case is that parties to this suit should maintain the status quo, so that the res (substance) will not be destroyed.” According to him, ``the res, is southern Bakassi, which is to be ceded by the defendants on Aug. 14. ``It is hereby ordered that parties should maintain the status quo and should not take any step pending the hearing of all applications.” The suit was filed by some Bakassi natives led by two former chairmen of Bakassi Local Government, Chief Emmanuel Etene and Mr Ani Esin, to stop the ceding of the territory to Cameroon. They are seeking N456 billion as compensation before the cession could take place. Meanwhile, further hearing in the case has been adjourned till October 20, 2008 when the court would have resumed from annual vacation. It would be recalled that Nigeria and Cameroon signed the “Green Tree Agreement'' under which Abuja agreed to cede the peninsula to Yaounde after the International Court of Justice at The Hague ruled that the territory belonged to Cameroon. According to the terms of the agreement, which was signed in New York on June 12, 2006, Cameroon was to assume full sovereignty over the peninsula on August 14, 2008. http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/features/newsonthehour/2008/aug/01/newsbreak-01-08-2008-001.htm |
This is serious! I can't believe it! |
madamkoko:There is iota of truth here, people believe too much that God will come down and provide things for them. |
How to stop Nigeria corruption:I agree with these ones, by the time it happens to four or five persons, we will caution ourself Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand and many other countries are mostly doing well today, because their constitution is firmed and doesn't permit rubbish. Some very good examples here But to me Nigeria is a country where nothing works, Nigeria problems defile all solutions, the person who will execute the gulty ones can be corrupted by giving him bribe Firstly the problem/cause of the corruption is not actually the abuse of power, but the love of money. Every Tom, Dick and Harry (Femi, Aziz and Obi) not only wants to survive, but they aspire to be "big boys" and flash money, houses and cars all over the place. Once the lay people realize that integrity needs to come before getting money and in turn educate their children to have these same values, then arresting, hanging, or whatever else you want to do to the bureaucratic monkeys in power will not change a thing.Actually you are correct but remember that it is the situation in Nigeria that cause people to be running after money. it wasn't like this in the olden days. Like what I heard you could leave your goods outside and just put price tags on it. By the time you would come back it is either you see your goods or money if somebody have bought it. For me to stop Nigeria corruption: 1. Impose a death penalty 2. Public execution to those guilty of corruption 3. Kill those guilty immediately without delay 4. Govenment should provide basic amenities like good road, good working condition, provide electricity, try to make prices of materials to come down and good governance. |
Nigeria plans to hand over Bakassi to Cameroun come August 14 while some members of house of representative are still going against it. what is your opinion? |
@tobaaro, I like your response. After placing the picture here you can still indicate your website maybe under the picture so that anybody who want to see more cars can go there. |
Lets discard the cheap sentiments we throw around in the name of patriotism,Anybody that think Nigeria worth living should answer those questions |
hmmmmmmm, people are saying home is home which is actually true but to me can we call Nigeria a home? Anywhere you can not sleep and rest can you call such your home. Well, as for me if I have the opportunity to travel out of this messing country i will go and never return to the so called home Nigeria. I prefer to live all my life and die in anywhere I found comfortable to enjoy myself. gabe_logan:So what will solve the problem? I need a reply to this |
nobilia:Another probe panel will be set up to probe the seven point agenda probe panel that are probing all the probes including probe panel probing the power probe panel. Hehehehehehehehehe, funny country. |
What about Muritala Mohammed he was the best president by a mile but only lasted six months before he was assasinated him during a botched coupMuritala Mohammed was the only president that had good vision for Nigeria, trust Nigerians, they didn't allow him to succeed, he was assasinated! |
Sad news! Only God knows what is causing these tragedies in this country. |
The Sly:Pls I want to know the reason why you are shouting Halleluya, are u happy because the money will be embezzle and in no distance time a lot of probes will come out? |
I wonder who is even believing this story in the first instance, I can assure you all that come 2020 nothing will happen, the roads will remain the same if not worse. That's Nigeria for you. |

NNPC, MEND trade claims on pay to militants THAT money was paid is no longer in contention. But the purpose for which it was paid and to whom are now the subject of debate. While NNPC has admitted that money was paid but only to secure a pipeline and actually paid to a local registered company, the foremost militant group in the Niger Delta, MEND, has argued that the money was paid to unscrupulous elements pretending to be agitators while part of it was shared by government officials. Indeed, according to MEND, what the NNPC paid was more than the reported N1.4 billion. Meanwhile, political parties, rights groups and militias yesterday reacted to the statements credited to the NNPC Group Managing Director, Alhaji Abubakar Lawal Yar'Adua. They demanded to know the authority that allowed the NNPC to spend such huge amount of money for a job the security operatives could cheaply carry out. But the NNPC has denied spending the money on the militants. The corporation's management said that it was paid for the policing of oil facilities, adding that the contract was awarded to a grassroots company after negotiation with the host community. Yar'Adua had said on Tuesday that the NNPC paid the money to militants to secure access to a damaged oil facility in Delta State. The dominant militia group in the region, the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), said the money was paid to armed gangs in Delta State by the NNPC as "protection fee." http://www.guardiannewsngr.com/news/article01//indexn2_html?pdate=240708&ptitle=NNPC, MEND trade claims on pay to militants |
