On a serious note, when I went to Calabar for the first time early this year I was surprise at what I saw there, I couldn't believe this is part of Nigeria. I just hope every state will be like that at least all state capitals.

please Nigeria, stay together!!!

hmmmm, I can bet it with anybody, Nigeria will never break. Anybody can say whatever he/she likes but Nigeria will always be one even despite our differences and all the problems we are having right now.

@ocelot2006, I have been reading this thread from the beginning and I can say that you have really tried. Only Visa applicant or Green Card applicant will not understand what is on ground.

If you are coming to my house to tell me the truth that does not mean you will not obey protocol no matter who you are. Even if HC combine with Obama want to visit Somalia they have to respect their law, if they have any, to avoid insults to them.

She deserves what she got from the Fedaral Government

and the paradox:

as he goes to Saudi for treatment same Saudi Government are going to behead a Nigeria!

Can you imagine British or US President visiting a country that is about to officially behead the same citizen he suppose to protect??

This is pathetic and shameful!
Politics / Re: Who Do You Think Should Be The man To Rule Nigeria and why? by faoni572(m): 3:32pm On Aug 10, 2009
Kobojunkie:

I don’t make it my place to tell others what to do or not do before 2011. This is because I expect it to be apparent, bu now, to every Nigerian out there that something ought to be done on our part to make sure we do not continue going through this same hell.

You choose to make Fashola your mark, and I ask, is it that you feel you cannot do better than that man has done so far? Do you feel he is the best you can get for your future?

I choose Fashola because of what he has achieved so far. I know definitely they are people out there who can even do better than him, but I just think that we put somebody that we have seen his achievements instead of voting somebody we are not sure of his capability. Voting Fashola does not stop us looking for more like him to replace idle ones we have. Of course the more people like him the better for this country.
Politics / Re: Who Do You Think Should Be The man To Rule Nigeria and why? by faoni572(m): 3:18pm On Aug 10, 2009
@Kobojunkie, I would like you to tell us your view. What do you think should be done on or before 2011. What are the measures to be taken to ensure the right person is there or how do you think we can get people like Fashola to replace these incompetent ones?

As for me I prefer Fashola the present Lagos State governor to be the president. Judging from what he's doing in Lagos I believe he can steer this country forward

Education / What Is Happening In Madonna University? by faoni572(m): 8:09am On Aug 06, 2009
I have been hearing some disturbing news about this University, I would like to know if anybody has something to say about it.  Some students that I know said they would not go back to the school. I even know of somebody that was rusticated from the school without any reasons, after been locked up in a police station for some days

Can somebody give me hint of what is going on in the school, thanks
Politics / Re: What In Your View Is The Immediate Problem The Federal and State Governments Should Tackle First? by faoni572(m): 9:47am On Jul 31, 2009
FG should tackle Power Supply first. There is no way they can eliminate corruption, they can only reduce it at least for now whereas it is still possible to produce uniterrruptible power supply to people. So they should try and give us power supply first.
Politics / Re: If You Could Convince Yaradua by faoni572(m): 11:38am On Jul 28, 2009
Power is very vital for nation development. If he can only fix electricity alone there will be be rapid development, but the way at which he's doing things I don't think he can achieve anything.

@yang and all other people that say LASG is wrong. Pls tell Yaradua that whether LASG is wrong or not Yaradua should address pressing issues first, electricity is that, ASUU strike is there, corruption is there, ND problems are there and so many other things. After addressing these issues the he can come and battle Lagos state. He has not even done one from his 7-point agenda

im pretty sure MEND will piecessssssssss OPC. The militant are bloody and have stated earlier they would bring down the nigeria military with ease

There's no way MEND can bring down Nigeria Military, where were MEND when JTF was destroying some villages in Delta State? They should have come out to help their people. MEND might be powerful but they can never withstand Nigeria Military and that explains why MEND have been playing hit and run with Military.

Politics / Re: Obama To Visit Ghana, 6 Other African Nations And Not Nigeria by faoni572(m): 7:47am On Jun 11, 2009
CyberG:

The 'number 1' man in Nigeria went begging cap-in-hand asking to visit Obama in his own house - the White House. The State Department allowed one of its lower-ranked personnel to attend to your number 1 man's emissaries - not even the Secretary of State (Hillary), heck, even a senior official. Nigerians who have lived abroad understand that these people do not just do something. . .everything is well planned, down to the finest details. . .so this was not a random occurrence.

Next, the same Obama announces to visit another country (Ghana) just at our backyard in their own country without lobbying, begging or asking, doesn't that speak volumes?. . .but some Nigerians will still defend the indefensible! If only Nigeria had done a few things just right and gotten a few things wrong since 2007, the eyes of the world could have been on Nigeria now, during the visit and afterward for good! What a free opportunity to truly re-brand Nigeria when all the cameras from a lot of countries will be here 'for free'. . .beaming live images throughout his time in the country?

Yet someone, like a child who has just been chastised, says "we don't care for the visit afterward". . .but your president went BEGGING for a VISIT in the first place and GOT an embarrassing NO. . .who doesn't know that? So, if your number 1 got such a treatment, who is the number 121,000,000?? person who says it doesn't matter? Well, like the G20 case, wait for the excuses, whining and lamentation of your number 1, empty Yaradull. Some people are just blessed with a short memory and non-objective thinking!

It is our number 1 that is embarrassing himself, I don't think we sent him to go and beg Obama for a visit. I particularly I don't care if Obama visit Nigeria or not, even though let our number 1 continue embarassing himself that is his own cup of tea.

1. How can someone create database and table at run time instead of creating it in MS Access first
2. How can someone write code that can minimise a program to tray (to be among the icons at the right hand side) instaed of task bar and when someone click the icon on the tray it will show up again

Many thanks to you for the help you have been given me. I will be expecting your reply.

I don't think people travel to speak English, a lot of people travel in search of greener pasture, and believe it Japan is a lot greener than most countries people rush to

I think learning Japanese to intaract with people when you get to Japan will be somehow difficult, hence, reason to go to english speaking countries and where you can get greener on time, US and UK
Politics / Re: Enugu Launches Free Internet Service by faoni572(m): 9:28am On Feb 17, 2009
Beautification and sanitization of Lagos will benefit all and sundry. Free Wifi will not!!!
2 different scenarios here. . . . . .You provide Wifi without addressing the issue of electricity.
U have been talking about mobile fones. . . . .What would power the batteries?? Wi-fi??
Have u ever wondered why mobile fones get damaged in Nigeria than anywhere else?? It's because many of the users power them with their generator(d.c) instead of a.c!!!

@~Sauron~ , what is comming out from generator is a.c not d.c
