Car Talk › Re: Tesla Car Spotted On The Mainland Bridge In Lagos Runs Out Of Battery by FarahAideed: 8:43am On Dec 31, 2021 |
Kingofhoes: My thoughts exactly. This is due to the driver's negligence as a Tesla on 1 charge can run over 300km. Talk less of a full battery Till you get trapped in 2 hour hold up it's is then you will know that 300kms is just 3 hours of charge ..this dude lives in Ikoyi because I always see him around there and I am sure he stays on a property with 24 hour electricity ...not his fault sometimes Lagos happens to us all..I remember I used to frown at people urinating on the road in traffic till I got stuck in traffic and had no single choice than do the same |

Politics › Re: Lagos Assembly Passes ₦1.7 Trillion Budget For 2022 by FarahAideed: 1:10am On Dec 31, 2021 |
aribisala0: I don't know what you mean by premise. Are you trying to sound intelligent? Here is what you said
There is no ambiguity in its meaning It is not a "PREMISE" It is an assertion of FACT
To make that kind of statement you should have Figures for 36 states so that you can answer the question What position is Lagos out of 36 otherwise you are making noise
Also What is the source for the population of Taraba you are using?
If you "TOOK SAMPLES" as you claim . From where did you take the samples to get population data for your sample states and for Lagos State KINDLY SHARE Do you have a preferred source of population data? Your country has not had a census in almost 2 decades I gather ....well for Taraba I got their population from the State govt publication and rounded it up |
Politics › Re: Lagos Assembly Passes ₦1.7 Trillion Budget For 2022 by FarahAideed: 12:45am On Dec 31, 2021 |
aribisala0: What were the rates? do you have a source
Guy stop the diversion tactic. I am not interested in YOUR TAKE just facts/ figures and a source What is the Population of other states especially the most populated like Kano Katsina and Kaduna What has the link you posted got to do with YOUR CLAIM of 21 million Your claim was not just about the population of Lagos State but effectively about every state in Nigeria
I can see you just want to go round in circles rather than answer simple and direct questions My premise on budget per Capita was done taking samples from select states and comparing with Lagos and it reveal that when it reaches per Capita Lagos is not really better off than other states ...Let's take Taraba with a population of 2.2 million people and budget of 146 billion naira which when broken down per Capita shows it's in the same bracket with Lagos that has a budget of 1.7 trillion |

Politics › Re: Lagos Assembly Passes ₦1.7 Trillion Budget For 2022 by FarahAideed: 12:15am On Dec 31, 2021 |
aribisala0: I do not argue foolishly
You made claims 1. About population . FIRST. So start there . You claimed the population is 21 million give a source , one that also tells us the population of Kano and other states since you talke of comparing budget per capita 2. To discuss exchange rates whether CBN or otherwise YOU made the claim so once again
PROVIDE THE RATES and a source Now tell us whether that matches a claim that YOU MADE
So TELL US WHICH YEAR that the Lagos budget exceeded $4 billion UNDER PDP as YOU CLAIMED
Was 491 billion Naira more than $4 billion in 2012? At CBN rate then it was exactly 4 billion dollars at black market rate it was 3.7 billion dollars... Please read link to understand my take on Lagos population sir https://www.globalcitizen.org/fr/content/100-million-people-city-lagos-nigeria-africa/ |

aribisala0: That is not the point.
You are making up ridiculous and fictional claims.
That is the trait of a dishonest individual
Do not play dumb.
Can you retract or substantial your earlier
claims
1. About Lagos Sate Population 2. That Under PDP Lagos State was passing higher "DOLLAR" conversion budgets
I asked you a simple question WHAT WAS THE LAST budget that Fashola signed ?
Stop this habit of ignorant beer parlour talk Let's start from 2012 ..Lagos budget then was 491 billion naira , do the maths using CBN rates at the time and you will see I know what I am saying..I am very gifted with numbers |

What was the size of the last budget Fashola signed "UNDER PDP"
And what is the relevance of the "under PDP" comment was Lagos State ever under PDP?? PDP because PDP was the Central govt then and handling the economy a lot better than APC today |
Politics › Re: Lagos Assembly Passes ₦1.7 Trillion Budget For 2022 by FarahAideed: 9:47pm On Dec 30, 2021 |
Mack5ive: Lagos has never done a budget size of up to 3 billion dollars, this is the first time Lagos will be exceeding 3 billion dollars to hit the 4 billion dollars mark at the official cbn rate of 412 naira to a dollar so please get your facts right and stop being ridiculous Even in 2012 Lagos budget was 491 billion do the maths using CBN rate then it's billion dollars , do the maths using black market rates then it 3.7 billion dollars ..stop saying what I don't know sir |

emae009: common backend verification with Telecoms companies is taking them this long. You want to overload with BVN. Like FG like you, you guys like to created unnecessary workload and work overlap for nothing.
A more less time and resource consuming route would be to transition BVN to NIN. There are more BVNs than NIN. A simple database transfer would have solved all these problem.
The Advanced countries only have one verification code for very thing important. It's only in Nigeria that we are about having 3 and the 3 aren't interconnected.
The next Government will come up with their own Identity code. Why are you even explaining anything to the clowns that still support Buhari |
