Beating a child rather than trying to understand and correct the behaviour. Some parents just beat because they want to take out their frustration on an easy target. I have seen mothers beat newborns for crying, babies can't talk what else is a baby supposed to do?

Male child/first born favoritism, where some people more children than they intended because none are male. It's like they see girls as bastards or half children.

Another one is discouraging kids from having relationships and being completely mute on the topic of healthy relationships. Then as soon as the children leave the house they pester them about marriage. How is someone supposed to get married on time when they would be punished for even being 3 feet away from the opposite sex?

Finally the emphasis on money and status over empathy. This is good because it gives kids a drive to succeed but can lead to the success getting to their head. It causes 'do you know who I am/my father is' mentality and fuels the engine of corruption.

Ah I almost forgot, read your books and become a doctor/lawyer/engineer because that's where the money is, anything else and you are a failure. Even dare to mention going into sports, music, acting, politics and worst of all farming which make more money than ever these days and you will get disowned.

You do not and I repeat NEVER test new drugs on people first. You first test on animals similar to humans to first see if it can eliminate the problem while causing minimal harm to the animals. That's what China has done.

If you test on people first and they react badly to it that's a lawsuit and serious ethical violation.

Another thing to consider is that the drug might not actually be needed and the people get better on their own. This is why multiple tests are done over long periods.

Why I doubted the study was that it was both rushed and done on 20 people and is being touted as a cure. Anyone who's job is even tangentially related to medicine should be suspicious of their claims.

There's a lot going on in WHO today that even Trump lost the little regards he had for them. Whether it is for Malaria or COVID-19 doesn't matter, we just need it readily available in it's pure form without adulteration.

You don't test drugs this way at all. You can't say something is proven but throw the scientific method out of the window, then you are just guessing.

I don't know about your camp sha but at my own side everybody was forming until the second week. After that nobody cared again, parties every night everything goes. When they received the first payment is when the crazy stuff started happening.

I served in a state in the north east in 2003.

You would come out at night to find shadows of a guy ramming a lady from behind by the side of a tree on the open field at night! Dozens of them!!

Almost every tree was being 'occupied' night after night!(There was no light on camp for that three weeks except one particular hall we used for several activities and the mami market).

The naccking was so severe (we came to camp during the harmattan season) that within one and a half weeks almost the entire camp were pairing into couples( I actually enjoyed the camp becausing over 70% of the ladies were my sisters from the east and I know if an igbo lady likes you it's sharp sharp no time wasting)

I expect the FG to further announce that the NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is no longer a requirement for job application.

You are quite correct, though I benefitted from NYSC it isn't for everyone.

Just make it optional with proper military service.
