And those useless security agent called DSS that always uncover people that wanted to do peaceful protest did not uncover this one.
The DSS was aware, they said that there were plans to "embarrass" the president but they didn't send anyone out to arrest or protect the communities.

I swear if this isn’t taken care of soon everyone will form their own militia group and you know how that always goes.

Why do we blacks love to sit back and play blame game without offering any fucking solution? If you know what the fucking problem is, act nigga! Heaven helps those who help themselves. I've seen people blame Lugard, blame Zik, blame Awo, blame everybody. But no solution. Why?! huh
Remember what happened in October with the protest? Where the youths offered solutions and organised regardless of religion, ethnicity or ideology? Well the government disrupted that with the help of many stupid wastes of space both online and offline. The police even released criminals to justify keeping their jobs.

Many didn't want to endure to fix a bigger problem, they were complaining because it didn't affect them yet. Nigerians only learn their lesson when they personally experience the pain.

In the end the solutions were not implemented and things are slowly heading back to the way it was before.

We all know the solutions but are we ready to act on it?

Even if Nigeria had gotten her independence in 1856, the same problem you are complaining about will still happen in 2020

For all those who know history.

Multiculturalism does not work because people will keep fighting each other instead of building their nation
India is multicultural, America is multicultural, Canada is multicultural, Brazil is multicultural even the bloody Roman and Persian empires of 2000 years ago were multicultural but they had functioning governments.

Isn't it embarrassing that a nation that died over a thousand years ago with no modern technology or means of communication had better city planning and plumbing 2000 years ago than a nation that is 60 years old?
Celebrities › Re: Williams Uchemba South Africa Visit: Depressed Over State Of Nigeria by Farki: 5:53pm On Dec 23, 2020
Nigeria was given independence on a platter of gold, no major antagonistic neighbors, good relations with the UK and commonwealth as well as a strong currency. Nigeria was respected throughout the world but now it's a joke.

We were given independence just as a valuable resource was discovered and rather than use it to make the country the America of Africa they hoarded more than they could ever spend in a thousand lifetimes and allowed the country to rot.

I am glad that oil is slowly losing value so these lifeless donkeys in power won't be getting money for sitting on their asses.

We are the cause of his own problems, after 60 years of independence we have no one to blame but ourselves.

We don't appreciate good things in Nigeria, this is why a minster can say we don't have a human capital flight problem by saying there are "excess doctors" in the country.

It is better to take a bullet for Queen Elizabeth than to take one for Buhari.

Because I am not aware of the trivial details of a field I did not specialise in does that make me as dangerous as someone who will kill another over 1,500 naira or terrorise a village with theft, rape and robbery?

I am really not seeing his point, inasmuch as the state of publicly funded Higher Education is sub par having some knowledge and being somewhat useful is better than having no knowledge and being totally useless.

We said it before that the prison break happening right when SARS was being challenged was too convenient, they called us "unpatriotic hoodlums".

Now you can see that people who are proSARS want to destroy the country by any means and keep us in the gutter because they profit from their illegal activities of detaining youths and robbing them in uniform.

I swear all the people who supported SARS in the protest will soon be visited by the criminals they released.

Politics › Re: Governor Zulum: Nigerian Army Has Failed Borno Residents by Farki: 10:32am On Dec 22, 2020
ethicallyright:

BORNO indigenes failed themselves when they turned themselves to willing tools to push an Arabian political ideology.

A Boko Haram terrorist is just another BORNO villager with a gun and machete. Without a gun and machete, the terrorist is just a dominant villager living among his people , respected and feared by his family members and granted beautiful brides by his community.

The Nigerian army did not behead people , a Kanuri led terrorist group beheaded Kanuri people. A government that does not regulate what clerics preach in Mosques, supports the destruction of alcohol in a secular Country and sentences children to death for Blasphemy should consider itself responsible for Islam extremism.

The Nigerian Army are risking their lives to safe everyone and prevent the Islamists from advancing.

At least twice this year, Zulum's convoy was attacked and without those soldiers and policemen who died, Zulum would be dead.
Nigerian army that feeds, shelters and releases terrorists? grin

The one that refuses to go after the sponsors because "it is not their job"?

The one that refuses to give soldiers weapons and ammunition?

The one that refuses to answer cries for help as farmers are beheaded?

rosskiti:
That takes MONEY.

Nigeria's annual budget is a pitiful 35 billion dollars for 200 million people.

South Africa's annual budget is 125 billion dollars.

UK, 1.7 TRILLION dollars.

France, 2.2 TRILLION dollars.

USA, 7. 6 TRILLION dollars.

The oil income we make is not enough.

Even without corruption it would be impossible to develop the entire nation with that kind of money we make.

We must expand and diversify this economy to fund that kind of society you yearn for.

That is where projects like Eko Atlantic come in.

That tax revenue alone that would accrue to govt from all the world class businesses operating there could surpass the oil income we currently receive annually.
Or we could just, you know, fix the things that drive the economy in the first place like the Lagos light rail project, the National Theatre, the Epe Airport project which was abandoned and so on instead of waiting for X years for foreigners to buy land in Eko Atlantic when even the land reclamation projects of the UAE are not being bought.
