House. What are the pros & cons of administering Komorov injectible vaccine as against Lasota Oral vaccine on birds in lay? Won't the stress be too much to the point of affecting laying performance in the long term? The oral vaccine appears to be less potent cos of the heat stress. Opinions, please

For complete protection against NCD, you must give lasota several times at first and then inject with komorov. It's a must. If you have had bad experience with injecting komorov before, it is due to some other reasons you don't know about. Injectable vaccines are effective only after the oral ones has been given.

I will advise you to go for lab test since it is impossible to tell what is wrong in this case. The lab test will also tell you the best antibiotic to use because some bacteria are now becoming resistant to some antibiotics. That's why if you give some antibiotics the birds won't respond to it. If you don't want them to eat all their eggs (exagerated), do it NOW before they start laying.

You can intercrop it with plantain but
1.dont expect the same yield you will have when you cultivate only plantain.
2.You will incured additional expenses in killing the plantain after harvesting
3.You will need heavy fertilisation of the soil
Personally,i prefer to intercrop oilpalm with cassava.

am still making enquiry. i heard land is being given to ppl dt want to produce rice - free of charge at igbariam and neighbourhood. strictly for rice production.

@milvert, nsm is nigeria starch mill uli. I heard rumuors that the coy is not fit financially. You may have to visit the place and ask ppl dt have done biz wit them b4you negotiate with them.

I later went in search for Lower mamu (achalla-nando) river project. Igbariam students were rioting the day I went so the road was blocked and policemen were everywhere. We had to go through Nando to Oye Achalla. When I got to OYE achalla I was suprised that nobody even know what I was talking about, even the FADAMA man I met. The man told me that there was a time the government tried to set up an irrigation system somewhere but the project was halted due to problem with the natives.
