Keep us updated bro. I'm into layers too. I will advice you to take some chicks to a vet lab like animal care. They'll do serological test and tell u the right time to give vaccines. Let's learn and share ideas.

Dont misunderstand me. Both shit and honey attract flies. Rape can come to both an indecently dressed (ie shit) and properly dressed (ie honey) ladies. Just like disasters affect both the righteous and the wicked. But if God tells u to do sth, just do it and leave the rest for him. Why shud u go around exposing what's supposed to be properly covered? If they cause men to sin, dont u know that they're also partakers in that sin? Or do u think they can send men to hell and end up in heaven? It's possible, but they may not be that lucky.

Did u vaccinate them? Was the pen cool and well ventilated? Did u practiced strict biosecurity measures? Eg, do u dip ur feet in disinfectant b4 entering the pen? Since u have local fowls around, they're usually carriers of various diseases that can infect ur broilers. Did u treat for coccidiosis? Did u use the right drugs during treatment? Lab test is needed for this. There are a lot of questions to ask since I was not there.

This is one misconception people have about rape. The simple truth is that if you dress indecently, you're more likely to be rape than a lady that dress decently. A dr once said that most of the rape victims he attended to were indecently dress. Common sense will tell u that if u dress indecently and walk through a market, those crazy boys will say and do all kinds of things to u, conductors will hardly respect u. I have seen where a conductor grab one in the waist, I have also seen a tout dig his hand into a girl's leg while running pass. So that's the basic truth, as shit attract flies, indescent dressing attract rape and insults.

Mine is building a poultry pen that is not well ventilated. Then pen was attached to a wall and that section was entirely closed to prevent rain water from entering the pen. So only 3 sides were open. The effect of this was disease eating part of my profit and mortality was higher than normal. So folks, build pen that are well ventilated and cool in hot weather. It cost money, spend it.
