Depends on ur soil and weather., I irrigate once evry 2 days. In harsh weather, I irrigate daily.

It is a hose with tiny holes. It is better than manual, handheld sprinklers. Okoroemeka sell it. Below is a pic from a NL member:

You will get 20 average fruits if you follow the right schedule in open field. The fertlization is twice a month with a minimum of 15g-30g fertlizer per plant. We used npk 20:5:10 with zinc as trace, SSP 20%, MOP 0:0:60 and magnesium sulphate.
I tested this with my colleagues in 50 growbags in Lokoja at the height of the heat in March/May
We mixed the fertlizers according to the stages with a formula for blooming flowers @ 4 weeks after transplanting at npk 20:25:35 with a magnesium sulphate foliar spray of 2grams per litre twice a month.
I believe with a shadenet of 50% UV, you will even get more.

There is a weed on my farm than resemble sedges. their roots have the same ant-like smell, the problem is, my cir are between 3 - 4 weeks old when they started germinating, so I sprayed in-between the rows with glyphosate, now dey died very well, abt two weeks in, another set germinates, now it got me thinking, I've got to get my hands on pre emergence herbicides, if they are compatible with glyphosate will be a bonus

pre emerg. herbicides mainly deal with germination weed seeds, not already germinated weeds. Why not use paraquat? It will be safer.

That's the best oo. Farmers from different states shud form groups that purchase pesticides in bulk and share.
