It surely would be an incredible experience, but like Maxflame mentioned, one needs the experience garnered from going through relationships, to understand the opposite sex well enough for a life-time co-existence with a particular individual. I've been involved in several relationships and have yet to find that special lady whom I connect to very deeply, and so I can imagine how cool it would be marrying that one when I do find her. By the way Maxflame, there is LOVE. You think there's no love because you apparently haven't felt it. But one thing I know is that you can't appreciate real love until you've been burnt. So, go ahead. |
Client has just demanded for an update of design and as such link above would reflect updated content, not the initial design posted for review. Screenshot of former design is shown below. I tried talking the client out of such a revamp of index page, but the man was adamant. This new look isn't really cool, anymore.

Ah, how often do you call customer care, if I may ask? Daily? |
Yes, yes. They've said it all. You might want to check this link out anyway: http://www.w3schools.com/ |
What do you need it to do for you? |
Oh, now I see. Yes, it did simulate the Dashboard. I installed lots of other apps to work with the pack I had. |
Don't really know what you mean. Which did you try? |
The Mac Transformation pack is way cooler. Gives one a Tiger feel. Go ahead and try it man. I'd rather wait for Vista coming out later this year, than try the Transfo pack. By the way, a friend of mine has got the Beta version, but I'm willing to wait just a little longer. |
I can't forget these few I can remember at the moment. I've read a whole lot of interesting books but these few keep coming back to me anytime I'm listing my favourite books of all time. Presumed Innocent - Scott Turow Papillon - Henri Charriere Deception Point - Dan Brown Hostile Witness - William Lashner Matarese Circle - Robert Ludlum A Thin Dark Line - Tami Hoag Stealing Faces - Michael Prescott The Cobra Event - Richard Preston Roots - Alex Hailey By the way, The Cobra Event is one of the most dramatic, heart-stopping books I've ever read. The details of the deaths are shocking, you wont want to read on. A brilliant bestseller. To anyone who hasn't read it, please do. |
Yeah, Sidney Sheldon is a great writer, but his books weren't very exciting to me. His characters lacked the depth that makes one connect to them and enjoy a great reading experience. IMO, Chase was better. Short, thrilling, exciting books, all of his. |
I have got over 30 favourite authors. Picking one out of all the others would be difficult, or rather, impossible. By the way, I never heard about Swindellis nor Stine, what genre of books do they write? |
No. |
Good question. How a Nigerian can manage to get more than one CC, when others like me can't even obtain ONE. I have a question though, who can I give Nigeria Naira in order to purchase these domains with his CC? |
Nferyn, I agree with you that Deception Point is his best work. As a matter of fact, it's one of the most ingenious work of fictions I've ever read. Simply brilliant. Digital Fortress was also cool. I'm surprised you didn't enjoy it. And to you all who understand that The Da Vinci Code is a work of fiction and appreciate it in that light, I commend you on such objective perspectives. |
Everyone seems to have tons of invites, everyone seems to need a Gmail account. I'd posted a link to opening one for one's self. No invites needed, no sh*tz. Straight up registration. Check out https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount With that, you can access Gmail, Orkut, and a whole lot of other Google services. <<Seun says, "Gmail invites are different, actually">> |
Ah, site hardly comes off to me as professional. Perhaps you're an aspiring web-designer, no? Anyway, most of the corrections that I should have pointed out have been mentioned already in previous posts, but the one thing you should do first before anything else, is to change your bkg colour, please. The Times New Roman font for the links on the left panel do not come off nicely too, try to change that to something a little more aesthetic, and maybe align them left, IMO. The Internet Wealth CD and the book for sale or something should be place in the same panel, either left or right, and of course optimizing those images. Displacing them randomly isn't great. The overall stark white background of the layout makes it mismatched against all that green. Play with colours to the left and to the right content panels, but most importantly, change background colour, please. And the borders of your cells are not impressive, ditch them. |
You're welcome. ![]() |
Your interface is really cool. I've been a chrome man for a long time and can't help but love any glassy interface I come across. But what's up with your home page? Just the header above, the footer below, and Lagosian.com slammed in the middle with no brief content description of anything? The pages of the few links I checked seemed OK. An overall clean feel, that's what you projected, and I'm impressed. Solid job man, solid job. At the moment, I can't find flaws anywhere except the index page. |
Well, UsherGurl, Arts in Science is a management consulting and engineering company that provides services that enhance the competitiveness of organizations, as the information on their About page says. Sadly, there's little of way of contributions to be made to their site. Except of course you contact them for any of their service or product using the feedback form on the contact page. I'm glad you like it anyway. @Seun, I'm flattered with the Wow! But is that all I can get in form of a critical review? ![]() |
Even though sites placed to be reviewed hardly gets noticed anymore, I still want to find out what you guys think of this site I've just completed. Link is http://artsinscience.com/ All criticisms would be appreciated. PS. I posted this only to find Website Review section. Couldn't move it. Moderators? Maybe you could help do that. ![]() |
I guess so. But the whole wireless network to cover Abj is a huge thing for the capital city, really remarkable. |
You wont run some tests firsts, no? |
Makinwa? Nigeria played very badly and somehow won the match in the end. Senegal clearly deserved a victory. I'm delighted we won, but I'm dispirited at the performance of the team. Such a horrible play on the part of the Nigerians. As for Taiwo, I'm clearly not impressed with his lacklustre defensive skills. What's with all the overlappings and poor markings. If him score goal with a blasting shot, them say make him no siddon for our half of the field again? Udeze or Babayaro would have done better in our last three games, but maybe they just wouldn't have scored that goal against Ghana. I hope the Super Eagles improve their performance against the Tunisians (and in further matches, that is if they defeat Tunisia). |
Indeed, JavaScript and Java are not one and the same. A lot of people are confused about this. On to Java being dead, I actually don't think so. Yes, Sun is fast approaching its twilight zone and are really aiming to increasing revenue but Java beind dead or failing is not entirely correct. I've got some programmer guys here in PH and most of 'em are Java guys. They are deploying very mean apps and not complaining at all about how Java works. In fact, over 70% of all the programmers I know here in PH use Java. I don't know how it's failed you, Africanboy. Maybe it not being able to run on a different platform (to you, that is), but I think Java is one language that has redefined interoperability of programs. It's certainly most people's favourite language, but perhaps just doesn't work for you, don't you think so? |
Smileyland, indeed. |
Ha, you've got wicked broadband connections I guess, but to stream live matches, how many MBPS mate? |
For me, it's the eyes. A girl has got to have very fierce eyes before I'm compelled to staring down to other parts, and staring at those other parts is just for the purpose of assessing her physicality as a woman. Except those other parts are just of this world and I glance at them first before returning to the eyes to confirm the fierceness in them. No fierceness, no tracking. |
Yeah, I know. But read this carefully; Farriel:That's why I mentioned that it's discourteous to address anyone as such. I haven't got a dog, and I haven't called anyone ugly. |
This thread sucks, honestly it does. What would all the fat and short and hairy boys in this forum feel about themselves if you girls go on like this? I'm not saying you're dissing them, but it would make them feel generally uncomfortable about their physical appearances, and that ain't no way to feel, sisters. That ain't no way to feel at all. To the unhygienic fellows, they've got to improve their cleanliness levels, but no give boys wey no get any control over their general physical appearance headaches. Particularly the short, hairy ones. |
Some people are unarguably ugly, hot-angel, really. You cannot rule Ceekay's comment as outrightly inadmissible, can you? To some degree, girls who are not with pleasant faces have tough times getting themselves noticed or supposedly turning heads, but however, there are millions of such people whom are involved in enviable relationships. What I don't agree to is that they don't get love, cos love's an entirely different aspect of our innate being, which a person's physical appearance has little or no control over. @cillalove, the word ugly can be used on living things. Honestly. I've come across people (sadly, ) whom can be described as such, even though it's discourteous to address them as such. Besides, how can a non-living thing be attributed to ugliness? |
