I was just reading in The Economist about how Djibouti, an African country in the north, leased space on their land to the USA, who set up a military base there. The USA is using the military base to fight al-Qaeda in Yemen and al-Shabab in Somalia. I'll post the paragraph and the link to the story I read below, but the point is, why don't we do the same? We can be getting lazy money simply by leasing a piece of our land to the USA to set up their military base for a hefty sum of money. As you know we can't rely on oil money again, this might not be up the amount we were making before but this idea is not bad right?
