Good day All, My 3 month old baby regurgitates a lot whether she breastfeeds or takes formula. I complained at the hospital earlier but the Doc said there is no cause for alarm. I noticed that she throws out much of what she eats and her weight is not increasing as expected. Please advise

Why not do both? I used only gerber started out that way and later on my baby rejected cerelac when i tried to introduce it

you wey just born. on a much serious note my friend that used Women's hospital paid about 7k5 for singleton VD. enquiries can always be made

but for people having singleton, i for one had a great experience with Oakbend and i had no problems with dr F, although people say he doesn't spend sufficient time with patients, i don't see the big deal about spending time with my doctor generally especially if my pregnancy is uncomplicated, my vitals are good and i have no complains. my first baby i used premier hospital and Georges Hospital here in Lagos for antenatal, second i am using reddington, these are considered A hospitals and the gyneo doesn't linger with me either

Honestly, i remember DH mentioned he heard about Dr F's attitude subjecting mamas to induction when they didnt request for it etc but I searched for this info online but didnt see it. Healthgrades and a couple other medical site to check out Dr's reviews didnt even mention anything like it but i knew one day I would get more info on him via this platform. May God help us.

to be fair to him, he tries to schedule induction so he can plan properly to be there for the birth and if you decline he doesn't pressure you. i for one declined induction and he did not make me feel guilty or pressured. i just asked is the induction your medical advice in your capacity as my doctor and he said NO

For Houston mom's with triplets, do consider women's hospital of Texas or memorial herman

The nurses kept saying the newspaper pple will be here...Lol I asked whythey said your the first person to give birth to triplets in the history of oakbend...i said what? Why? They will just smile..I didn't know...they where level 2 and giving birth to triplets there he will make name..

thanks for sharing....i had a great experience with oakbend even though my baby went to NICU as well.

I had to google level 1, 2 and 3 NICU now to understand better.

if he was going to make a name, i am baffled that he did not bring his A game to the table. disappointing indeed

Dr f wasn't around for my delivery. Intact he took deliveries only on Tuesday which is why he likes to schedule induction on Tuesday but he has doctors on call every day of the week


I loved the dr that took my delivery even better than him she was everything. I tried to get her contact so I could work with her directly but she said she was under his practice.

I'm sure one of his doctors dropped the ball big time

Pls ask for and insist on a partial refund

This happened to my friend at whmc... What's the name of that old dr that has retired now. He was always showing up after the patients have put to bed but he gave her a partial refund


Also how many mins or hours after you got to the hospital did you give birth @ Shekandfiona that may also help put things in perspective

At all but if you are worried about putting on too much weight or consuming too much sugar you can chew on ice as in plain ice instead

favor, the para I mean was not to fight. maybe i didn't put it well. it just to let them know at the back of their mind that u don't like what they did .She opened her door because of her current motives. This kind of relatives won't look at your face if the hospital gives you a huge bill. They will leave you to carry your wahala or offer you medicaid.

This act is wrong and will always be wrong. I have hosted people and I know a SSN when it gets to my mail and I will never open such.

Wait till next year may after tax filing and see if your sis in law hasn't use the SSN.

Its actually won't affect the baby but you need to get consent from the parent before using it

Phew!!!! Because I know it's not easy to host someone for 3 months regardless of what the host's intentions are. Feed the person, take them to doctor's appointment, etc especially in a foreign land.


With regards to my sister in law she has had two filing seasons since I gave birth and she hasn't used it. Will keep checking whenever I remember. My point is not everyone has bad intentions or is a fraud

And it may be nothing. My sis inlaw also collected my baby's ssn and asked to keep for me.

When I saw the the posts on this thread I checked and nothing! She hasn't use d it for anything. Let's also keep an open mind sometimes not everyone out there is deceitful

That's bull crap. I think I have a post about how to report any activity. You need to para, vex and shout for your host. Tell them you will involve the police and they should have it in mind that you will monitor the activity of the SSN. The person knew it was SSN and opened, wrote out the number and end up filing the next tax with it. . Voila !!

I will repost how to detect Ssn fraud.

In Houston I got my bc, American Pali and Naija visa within two weeks of birth so of you are in Houston and in a hurry you don't need to travel to another state. Just get yourself organized asap and start the processing

Collected birth certificate three days after birth (at least for fort bend county). Go on the internet Fill and print out the forms, call Houston down town to get appointment.

Collect passport the next day after appointment (some people are able to get same day).

Buy overnight envelope and money order from post office and send American passport and all requirement to your agent In Atlanta. Got my passport back with Naija visa within 4 days of doing that.

Total time taken: 2 weeks post birth

If you will be returning to Nigeria within less than 4weeks after your baby's birth, it will be faster and easier to find your way to NewYork, Washington DC, or Atlanta, GA where you can process BOTH the baby's US passport and Nigerian passport and get both within 2-3 days. You will need to include transportation or flight costs for you and your baby to these passport cities.

Its a mat you spread on the bed before lying on the bed during delivery to avoid staining the hospital bed with blood, feaces,urine . It has different types depending on the one your hospital accept or the ones they sell in your area.
