I didn't get an update whatsoever... I just went to the Dhl office and picked my passport... Unlike my husband that did.

congratulations to all latest mama that just delivered. I wish all remaining September mamas save delivery. I delivered on 21/9/15 but lost d baby on Saturday morning. Allah knows best and He giveth and taketh.

Hi Favouredgal, hope you're doing good? Have you heard from the embassy yet? My visa expires in December before I travel and I'm wondering whether to attend an interview or apply for Medical treatment visa via drop box. I was hoping to avoid travelling to LAG or ABV but with this your experience, it appears to be the best option now. Any advice please?

I wanted to use Baptist Hospital in Miami but the rates they quoted is not for small children. Still checking other options in Miami or Orlando. I will share once I get a good deal. Accommodation is very expensive in FL during winter and i'm a winter mama, again.

Good morning all, pls I need an emergency advise, although I av called a lot of doctors too, but just to seek more opinion. My cousin lost her first pregnancy at 24wEeks due to premature rupture of membrane. Now she's pregnant and 13weeks, she felt a big discharge so she immediately rushed to d hospital cos she recognised that's its cervical plug, so d doctors did an emergency scan, and discovered her cervix is opened by 0.5cm, and d baby is intact, d inner cervix plug is also intact. The doctor asked her to go home and be on bed rest but she insisted she will stay back in d hospital. Another gynae checked her this morning and said "he thinks she might need a cerlage", but she was treated for uti 2weeks ago. She's been crying all morning, cos her own gynae said he wants a "wait and see approach". Pls what do u guys feel¤

@first. Virginal birth after prev. CS for 1st child. thats what madam asked for but dey bluntly insisted on CS., saying dey can't risk doing that from their own experience.

the infection story till now is still amazing to me, well read about it that could be as a result of mother eating some wrong fruit. could also be as a result of streptococci abi na wetin dem call am. see medicine confuses me most times. our argument even from her aunt who is a nurse was that this antibiotics could be administered orally to baby at home and monitored. but see this guys are just after the money they never stopped mentioning Medicaid which I also didn't stop saying no to. its a tough experience in so short a time.

Induction is not an alternative for CS. Find out the reason your Dr wants an elective CS for you. Do you have a previous scar? Did they do pelvimetry and assessed your pelvis inadequate? What's the lie of your baby? If it's just the weight, people birth 3.8kg every now and then. Engage your Dr in questions so that you can make an informed decision. Cheers

Good evening sweet mommas n papas, pls I rem recently someone was denied in lagos and she didn't have much time, but was told to check at midnight that she will get an earlier date, I was late for my interview and was turned back, so I have to reschedule cos their is a new policy that started on Thursday, if you are 90mins late,you have to reschedule, I was able to get Oct 29 Abuja but am hoping I can still get an earlier date, my question is this, how many times can I cancel and reschedule. Secondly how do I go about it. In case there is anybody in the house that can help get an earlier date,pls I don't mind, am on my knees. Cos by Oct 29 I will be over 35weeks. Thanks. Happy Sunday.

Good day mamas. Please o! I was the one that insisted my wife weans our 1yr 2mths boy. She's been doing it gradually but now her b.reas.ts are so engorged and the pain is unbearable. She googled and found out she could pump the milk away. This however stimulates production and it prolongs the whole thing. Please what other measure/method can be advised.

Hafsat24, wow!! touching story there. I can only imagine what your mum went through. terrible. but I often wonder why Nigerians don't go the adoption route if they want more kids. I remember discussing with some women who were pressurizing me to get pregnant then, that I want to adopt. they screamed and said "ah, God forbid o!! It can never be like having your own child o". I was surprised that day sha. thanks for the encouraging words, I appreciate.

Hello all mamas in the house, how are we doing. I know we have all gone through child birth experiences so I know we can relate to what I am to say.
Since I had my baby, I have been feeling some how, I don't know if it's depressed or irritating and my challenge is this. I was naked a lot during my child birth process and a lot of people inserted their hands inside me in the name of checking my cervix. I cringe any time I remember this even as I am typing I am barely holding it together, it's not been easy for me.
After some days I had my baby, I had to go back to the hospital cos I was bleeding profusely, by the way I had a c-section, so I had another dose of being touched and different things been inserted down there to help remove blood clots.
The thing now is I haven't been over this incidences, I feel highly uncomfortable in my own skin, I can't stand being naked, I can't stand not wearing pants, I feel so vulnerable.
As much as I understand that all they did was to safe my life, I just don't get how I feel, I haven't even been able to talk to my husband about it.

Lower abdominal pains so though the baby is sitting on top my kpekus....Sometimes the pains might be severe and other times mild.
