So your baby is even bigger than almost 100 percent of children in his age group.

Most likely reflux. My baby suffered it too, they recommended infant gaviscon which is very very hard to find in Nigeria

Good thing is she outgrew it at about one year.

Try and see a pediatrician for proper diagnosis and if they say reflux, know that there is a ray of sunshine down the line

That's why it's not by how long you've been feeling it, time your contractions if it's 3/5 mins apart start heading to the hospital asap.

Personally, I will be scared to give birth in the house but thank God he took control of this situation

i actually thought BA allowed women to board with fit-to-fly letters up to 38weeks - i just checked their site and its 36weeks and its the same with virgin atlantic. do you know any airline that permits flying after 36weeks?

that said, you will be amazed by the number of parents going to the US to birth even though they've got credible passports.

Re:38 weeks, None: it's not even safe for you. You can give birth in the aircraft.
For the baby most drs recommend at last 6 wks, the earliest I have heard is 4 wks

I actually confirmed tru pelvic scan, I was on clomid, d first dose I measured 5mm on cd 12, d second cycle on clomid I measured 2.5mm on cd 14, den I knew something was wrong.

@fruitfulvine, do not despair, I saw my last period on d 12th April and 13th was my bday while 7th was my wedding anniversary, I still received my wedding/ birthday gift in April cos I ovulated in April and af dint show in may, to the glory of God, I'm now 8wks+ pregnant with twins, isn't God tidy?june is still long dearie.

meanwhile, i see you are active on the US birth thread and you come across as being well versed with the whole process.

I have been contemplating going to the US to birth, although my husband and mum are not in support of the idea they think its not worth the stress. why leave free NHS to spend $$$$ abroad. But then my argument is there is no harm in a child having both UK and US passports - even boris johnson (London's mayor) and many others have both although Boris recently renounced his US citizenship )

my main issue is that i dont want to stay long in the US. if possible 2 weeks - pre and post delivery (wishful thinking i know ). how 'late' can i leave my departure to the US and how soon can i return back to my base (i just stumbled on a post on that thread where a woman said she got the BC and US passport in one week). i dont think i will need a nigerian passport/visa for my baby at that stage since i will be travelling back to the UK and not Nigeria.

also the latest time you can travel is 36 weeks, so unless you have a planned CS scheduled for 36/37 weeks, or planing an in duction at that same time i am hard pressed to see how you can spend less than 8 weeks

My 2 censt is that the UK pali is as good as the US, personally, i wouldnt bother, but you know best

Use a wash cloth in warm water but don't scrub too hard. Those are milk residue. It's a stage too

You can't predict what your baby will like so try diff brands. I used only gerber sha.

Also make puree if you can; apple sauce, vegetables like carrot, sweet potato, etc so you can have multiple variety.

You can google weaning puree recipe for 6 months old to get ideas.

I used to also go to the stores to look at he mixture purity food and all those other baby foods have and go make it at home cuz I do strictly organic.

Some baby wean themselves early. Try expressing and give in a bottle, if she doesn't take it switch to formula lose fully

She takes it in her cereal and I have long weaned from the boobs

She walked at 9 months

Has 10teeth and is at a perfect weight.

I will say don't stress what you can't control. Put enough in her cereal.

You will have to buy two diff tickets to do that. Which isn't economical

Except they are partner airline like klm/ air france/ delta

Greetings to you mums in the house, I have a 7 month old baby and she wouldn't take any type of milk except friso cereal or pap and breast milk. I leant that milk is really essential for her at this age and I do not think my breast milk is enough for her now. I tried force feeding but she will throw up immediately after. Please mums, how do I get her to drink milk. Thanks. First time mum.

My baby never took formula till date and she is one year 2 months now, healthy weight. Met all her milestones on time so don't worry.

Put the milk in her pap and cereal and augment with breast milk. That will be enough

if it is menstrual like cramps it is normal...the womb is expanding. why not see your dr to alleviate your worries? also try not to self medicate if you can

Apart from the sits bath which you are currently doing (pls warm water not hot, day and night.) I was also giving a Ning spray at the hospital. Will take a picture when I get home and post so you can check for it. In less than a week I was fine

Not always true. June 15th-Sept 15th is considered peak period for airlines, so you might not get cheaper tickets in August. If your trip is after Sept 15, you might be lucky cos sometimes airlines have promos for immediately after the peak period, although those tickets usually have way too many restrictions.

Also remember that the dollar rate can still go up and ticket prices will be affected.

From my experience from mid august tickets are cheaper. Then they go up again nov

I have been battling with carpal tunnel syndrome on my left wrist. It started while I was around 20weeks preggers.

I have used everything - from deep heat to robb to aboniki. No relief. I even went as far as placing hot water bottle on the wrist all night - no relief instead I ended up with red inflamed skin.

Tired of all my DIY, I saw a GP. She said only solution was painkillers (something stronger than pcm and codeine) but I declined as I'm trying to avoid as much as possible taking any meds.

I went to another GP. He suggested I wear a splint on my wrist. Now, the splint provides very little relief, I hate wearing it at work and it makes sleeping uncomfortable at night.

Any solution please?

In my first pregnancy I suffered something very similar called de quervian syndrome. Everyone called in carpal tunnel but after spending hours reading up I diagnosed myself. Anyways Nothing worked. Went away a month after I gave birth.
