I have been trying to send you a PM but it's giving me a bad gateway error message. Please can you try sending me one? I just want to be added to the group that supplied you materials. I am going for CPHR though because I am Winnipeg bound. I think we have a number of HR professionals here and it will be nice if we can all connect so we can help one another with informations. abakiki: Thanks!!

If you are Toronto (Ontario) bound you should be looking at CHRP, other provinces CPHR. The Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) is the entry level designation. It is also the best known HR designation in Canada and available exclusively from HRPA. Human Resources professionals at entry level may be entering the workforce, acting in roles that are mostly administrative in nature, such as a contributing role in a larger HR function, or a sole HR practitioner in a small HR function. Individuals in this level would have responsibilities such as supporting HR initiatives, executing tasks passed down from management, and operating at the tactical and transactional levels. They often have titles such as Human Resources Assistant, Staffing Coordinator, Human Resources Clerk, or Human Resources Coordinator. Youtook: Really? I have an Msc and 3 years experience so I should be fine. Will reach out to them ASAP. But the one he was referring to is HRPA. Not sure which one is widely accepted. I think CHPR has different certifications for different provinces. Will check it out. Thank you. |

Congratulations! Felt like I was reading a novel. You write very well. Good luck in your new job! dumprep: My Landing Gist
Sorry this is coming late guys.
So I woke up early on December 9, 2018 as I couldn’t sleep because of too much excitement to finally settle in my beloved Canada. My Lufthansa flight to Toronto via Frankfurt was scheduled for 11:40 PM, I got to the airport just in time to check in. After the much dreaded checking in, I had a huge relief. From AoR to PPR to CoPR, village people still wanted to at least try their luck again at the airport. My dad’s car broke down just as we arrived the airport. My other 2 brothers were not allowed in so they had to stay back to check the car, we said our emotional goodbyes and took goofy selfies with plenty hugs. @Topsmamen was not with us as he was out of the country, chillaxing somewhere. Getting to checking in, I had an excess of 13KG and while the immigration lady was still talking, my head was running around analysing what heavy items were in what bag and how I could reduce the weight. A friend in Toronto asked me to bring her some clothing and food items and knowing I would be staying with her, that was the least I could do. I kept thinking - “Should I remove these heavy boots? Do I drop some bags of Semo or the Poundo Yam?”. While I was standing there thinking, from the corner of my eye, I could see the lady staring at me waiting for me to end my drama, I looked up at my Dad and I could see the lines of worry on his face. He’s a conscientious person and seeing him like that pained me. “It happens”, so he said. After weighing my bags at home, my people, it’s like the weighing scales they use at the airports do ojoro for us o. |

Please mail CPC Ottawa or whatever VO issued your PPR. Someone who got PPR with you on the same day has already done the same and received another PPR mail with the correct Visa Office which is Accra. I have attached a copy of the response he got from Ottawa. Adiepena: Good day house,
Fellow India/Nepal PPR clinchers, any good news ?
Am not making any headway with regards to it. The CSE i raised came back that they have verified the information i gave and they have forwarded to the office in charge and they will get back to me.
I called Accra VO on Monday and they said i should mail the Canadian High Commission in Accra(which i have done but have no response yet).
I called Accra VO again this morning to find out if i can submit the passports, since they can verify and issue the visa. They said since it is specifically stated that it should be sent to India, they cant do anything about it. Either CPC sends a new letter instructing Accra or i send them to India as earlier indicated. 30 days is ticking
I asked how i should go about sending to India if that remains my last option and the agent wasnt helpful. He said he doesnt know. I thought Canada has designated VFS for passport transmission.
Fingers crossed. Will update the house if i get any helpful information.

Wow, makes a lot of sense. You outdid my expectation. Thanks very much. olajide21: Hope this makes some sense. The shop is tucked in the middle of roll of shops. On the other hand, once you get to wuse market, ask for the guy that sells winter wears. You may also try this number: 08035041688 - Azubuike (got it from this thread)
Also. Usman - 08130987851 As for him, you would need to speak Hausa. |

I also have a contact of a vendor who moves around selling same. You can tell him to get your specs. Na so Abuja be. Let me know if you are interested. |

Sorry I had to quote your whole message. I have been touched by your case. Just yesterday i was feeling pity for you. A MEGA CONGRATULATIONS to you. You truly deserve this. I am too elated for you. aworldcitizen: Praise to the Lord the Almighty the king of creation! Gather round people, it's PPR!
Below is my timeline Decision to travel August 2017. Family of 5 Visa office: initially London, moved to kyiv in August. IELTS: September 2017. My IELTS was written once and was perfect 9,8,8,8. Spouse IELTS 7.5,7.5,7,7 ECA: Masters Nov 2017 Entered the pool Dec. ITA January AOR January 17th 2018 Medical Passed Feb 11th 2018 IP1 Feb 12th 2018 IP2 Feb 27th 2018 Then silence. Not even a single ADR. Ordered 1st GCMS notes April 2018 everything looked perfect. Then complete silence. Ordered 2nd GCMS notes July 2018, this never arrived Wrote Raplh who confirmed Eligibility and Security not yet started. More silence, not even a ghost update October 3rd 2018 ordered 3rd set of GCMS notes. Arrived Nov. 1st. Still same as April notes. My file had not been touched since March 2018. Eligibility and Security not yet started. Wrote a 3rd mail to Ralph on Nov 4th who was gracious enough to respond (Ralph responds only once). He confirmed that my eligibility and security was not yet started and my application cannot be expedited. Nov 8th, like a dream ! my PPR!
Checked email and profile this morning and saw nothing.
By 2pm during my lunch break, I saw a mail notification, I wanted to ignore but decided to check.
I saw a mail from donotreply@cic.gc.ca that I have an update on my profile. I was excited, that finally I am getting a ghost update / adr.
I logged into my cic acct and saw my profile was updated. I was so excited, thinking it was just a ghost update and that finally my file was receiving attention. I wanted to log out but I felt the nudge to proceed and click on view complete application which I did.
Nothing seemed to have changed, my background check was still in process, I was about to log out again, when I felt that urge to scroll further down to the mail section.
I saw I had a new mail, titled request letter. I already concluded that it was an ADR for fresh bank statement. Love and behold, it was the almighty PPR.
I wasn't expecting it to come without an ADR for updated POF since my application had been pending for almost 10months. I lost appetite immediately, and was was just screaming. I couldn't share the news with my colleagues, so I just lied to them that my husband got a new job!.
I am immensely grateful to God Almighty who did not put me to shame. Delay is not denial. Though it tarries, it must surely come.
Thank you all for all the love and support.
Off to take my pictures and submit tomorrow.
This year has been so challenging. hubby and I lost our jobs, all our money tied at POF, we were feeding from Hand to mouth and struggled to pay school fees. Infact this September, we had to change their schools to a very cheap school.
God bless you all. |

Yes. Cooperative was part of my POF. I got a letter from them stating when I joined, my total savings so far, and that the funds will become available to me upon closure of the account. codehead777: I have some savings in my Cooperative Account, can I get a letter from the cooperative office and use for POF? Also, can I use payslips to back this up as the deductions were done from my salary?
The cooperative bye-law does not permit closing the account except if you are no longer in that employment, but I am still working there.
Has anyone successfully used cooperative savings as POF here? |

Now that you asked again i'm very much interested in knowing . Wow! Feels good to be a bona fide member of this thread. Now I can post here confidently. Tojued: Has anyone ever booked their landing flight through IOM before, or at least asked them for their quote and considered their prices before booking privately? I know that for Australia its sometimes cheaper and they even offer extra baggage allowance.
To the best of my search abilities there's been no mention of IOM flight assistance on this thread. |

My people...JEHOVA JIREH HAS DONE ME WELL. I still can't believe it ooooooooo. Finally the wait is over. IT's PPRRRRRRRRRRR!
I remember how bad I felt when IELTS first humbled me. Me like this! An English graduate and a well acknowledged good writer...story for another day. I used ieltsJay to console myself.
My spouse was not left our in the humbling too. He is as I call him 'English Master'. We were both humbled .
Here's my timeline: First IELTS (BC): 12th May LRSW - 7, 7.5, 8, 6.5 - created a profile and stood at 372 Second IELTS (MOD): 30th June LRSW - 9, 8.5, 7.5, 7 - profile upgraded to 444. Spouse aced his second attempt too - LRSW - 8,8.5, 7, 8
First profile became ineligible after I changed NOC. I came here, searched the thread and found a solution. I created a new profile on July 18th with same GCkey. (People please learn to search the thread, it's loaded with lots of information)
ITA: July 25. Cut off was 441 AOR: August 15th MEP and BIL: September 16 Biometrics done: September 17 Ghost update: October 13 PPR: October 16 at 12.59am dated October 15.
Application remained in IP2 from AOR. Family of 5
We prayed so hard about this application. I claimed everybody's speedy testimony especially Kwado88 and Mepconsultant but God did it in His own time.
POF: Treasury Bill certificate and Dorm account. The savings account was empty but we still printed the statement to show we bought TB from there. We sidnr attach Salary account statement but we showed proof of employment and attached payslips with reference letter.
It's been a long and very emotional journey. I can't even remember the things to post again. I booked a space here on page 1 of this part 5 and yer, God did it finally! |
