ProgrammingRe: The Greatest Challenge Of The Programming World by Fayimora(m): 1:33pm On Sep 11, 2011
Hmmm but am assuming you know that its a waste of time as no computer is going to be able to think for itself except you think you can play God! Bots are trainable but to what extent? You get to a stage where it gets too slow and you are just getting started! Notice that bots actually give static answers. . Have you tried confusing a bot before? Thats fun, lolzz

Anyways, dnt think am also gonna ever have time fore such a task. . .

WebmastersRe: a by Fayimora(m): 12:54pm On Sep 10, 2011
Yh the UI is so discouraging for a normal person. At least you wont have idiots there and you can have the right stats of programmers using it.

You need a clarification board. One where any contestant can ask questions about a certain question. However, only the administrators can reply. You can make it easy by writing a trainable bot that compares previous questions to current ones and provide answers. when it doesn't have a match, then it mails u or alerts u or something so you can provide an answer

You should have a "report a bug page" so you know what type of bugs you have roaming around your application.

It seems your timezone is fixed(GMT -5 i guess) which is actually confusing. .

Your navigation is not consistent.

The first reference to AmeboPost on your home page is broken. You have http://www/amebopost.com rather than www.amebopost.com

After logging out, i can still use the back button or full link to access my profile . . . oh and yah i can access your profile from the link also tongue

Errmmmm

You please re-login notification is too small,  you can wrap it with a h1 or h2 so its more visible

Errrrmm would be back if i find any more. . . .

Layout --> CRAP
Images --> BULLSHIT
DOM Structure --> NONSENSE

Infact everything about the site is CRAP. . Even my jnr sis wud design something thats 100x better(no jokes). I cant believe they actually let that site go online. . Oh and again what exactly is a login link doing on such a site?

Do i post the IE hack here or create a new thread?
WebmastersRe: Should Internet Explorer Be Banned by Fayimora(m): 11:31am On Sep 09, 2011
afam4eva:
@YawatideWho uses IE this days. Probably people that inherited a pentium 2 PC from thei grandfather.
Wrong! Anyone who buys a windows computer and happens not to be a developer uses IE until they are advised to change. The slang is "As long as it opens the page"!
WebmastersRe: Should Internet Explorer Be Banned by Fayimora(m): 10:21am On Sep 09, 2011
@OP if you are having problems with CSS then I can be of help! I wrote a simple css file that takes care of IE browsers less than IE6. For me I think IE is a pain in the ass and should stop development if they cant keep up to date!

ProgrammingRe: What Does It Take To Delve Into Information Security by Fayimora(m): 11:14pm On Sep 08, 2011
My first advice, go and do some research on what you want to do cause it looks like you dont even have the grip yet. Its just like telling a 2yr old to do a calculus exercise when the baby doesn't even know how to write his/her name.

Go and read starting from wikipedia and when you get a grasp of what you wanna do, then you can sit down and start properly.

Am saying this because you wouldn't be asking this --> "And what does network security mean?" if you really want to go into network security. You just sound like someone dats in it cause a friend is or something similar. . .
ProgrammingRe: J2se/ Android Complication by Fayimora(m): 11:08pm On Sep 08, 2011
Ok for some reason i DO NOT understand this thread. No offence to the OP.

Zeta what exactly are you trying to do. I develop Android apps but for fun! What are you battling with. PLease just say what you are trying to do, where you got stuck and the error you are having,  Would be easier that way for me, can't read this whole thread again. . .

ProgrammingRe: Programming Language Is Machine Independent? by Fayimora(m): 6:25pm On Sep 08, 2011
In short, it means the thing you can do with the programming language depends on the machine you are using. Independent would then mean that it be used on any machine. Its just english language so you should be able to explain it.
