In Nigeria a business investment made with your blood and sweat can evaporate in an eye blink. It has happened to me before. After exhausting million registering my own brand for syringes and importing a few containers, I still had a lot that had not come in when the Federal Government banned the importation of the regular syringe and instead declared that the auto break type syringe would henceforth be allowed. Not only was my licences less than 6 months but the company in China had my money and did not produce the auto destruct type syringe. To get my money back became a big problem. And the worst of all is that this policy never took off and after I had been effectively destroyed, the regular type syringe was allowed up till this day

What does it mean for Nairaland?

Nairaland is seen as one of the biggest forums in Nigeria, with the new regulations in place, nairaland will have to apply for a license from the NCC to operate or they will be knocked out from the Nigerian internet.

For some people who have seen the licensing document for social media companies and blogs in Nigeria, one of the guidelines talk about hate speech and misinformation disinformation, what it means is that Nairaland wont be entertaining many inter tribal wars, hate speech and talk about Nigeria's breakup on this forum or they will be fined or be censored.

During the end SAR's riots the Northern States came together and declared that they wanted SAR's. The question nobody asked is why would the North want SAR's but the South did not? Are they not supposed to be the same Police Force? Well in truth the Police in the South were more of an occupation force. Fleecing and maiming Southerners over the years.
