Has it ever occured to you all that a lot of people also do business on facebook. It is not a place for looking for affairs as many kids seem to think. More than 70% of my  business contacts are on facebook. Many serious companies nowadays have facebook accounts. No biggie here , sorry.

Big deal !
What if she likes to read late into the night with the light on and hubby can only  sleep with lights off?
What if he snores like a goat and she can't get to sleep ?
Divorce ?
Family › Re: Is Divorce The Answer? by felifeli: 4:30pm On Jan 21, 2010
A lawyer friend told me the case of her client  a man who had suffered persistent abuse from his adulterous wife for almost twenty years. To top it all the wife went away with his children and sued him for divorce on grounds of irreconcilable differences intending to bring him crawling on his knees in the belief that the man was too Christian to agree to a divorce and would rather plead. The man employed a lawyer to MAKE SURE that the divorce didn't fail and to sue the woman for all that anyone could be sued for. The ex-wife is still shocked after 5 years of the divorce. Of course the children suffered emotionally but now respect their dad more than when he made himself a wimp. Never take your partner for granted.

I disagree with you. If you are a christain the bible made it clear that a woman should be submissive to the husband. the list you are talking about is an insurance for the man and all around him.

no man want a nagging wife, troublesome woman, disrespectful woman, non domestic woman even when you have all the money, non caring woman, insincere woman, unreliable woman, beautiful woman though it lies in the eyes of the beholder, inpatient woman, when it is good alone woman, the man is Good woman, etc.
Thank you. As a matter of fact I know of a gentleman who has been so badly mistreated by his wife that all he ever hears from her from morning till night was -"You are a useless man" just because the man did not earn enough.
It was so bad that on one occasion the man went for a job interview and when the interviewer asked him - what is your name., what came out of his mouth was " I am a useless man"
Guess who didn't get the job. Many men's life are completely ruined by marriage . If you don't love the woman enough to beat her up her once in a while you will die a miserable man. I know what many will say about wife beating after this post; but nobody ever says anything about husband beating because the man is often ashamed to say it to the world. Good luck with your marriage mate.

I will tell you a secret which you must not tell anybody else including anyone reading this dumb post :

THE ULTIMATE AMBITION OF EVERY WOMAN IS TO BECOME A WIDOW.
IF YOU DON'T GO SOON ENOUGH  SOME WILL  GRUDGINGLY SETTLE FOR A DIVORCE INSTEAD

Nevertheless BE A MAN and get on with it.

@poster
Just for records, how about you ; will you change after marriage ?
Will you be going to see your girlfriend (now wife unfortunately) at her parent's house ?
Will you still be holding hands when you stroll on the beach with the baby screaming like mad ?
Will you stop going to market and cooking your own food now that your wife (or housemaid) now does it ?
Will your lovemaking still be inventive or will you now be doing slam dunks ?
Will you ,
Will you stop being an ass and only ask sensible questions !! grin

On the brighter side it is good that younger Nigerians are getting wise to the fact that degree means jack; you need to get a marketable skill instead to make it in life. Bill Gates didn't go getting no 1st class uni degree,

Take it for experience sake if it is within trekking distance of where you live (obviously not your own place). Otherwise you may be better off selling phone recharge card or pure water and I am not being wicked with my advice. Lastly don't start a family on this else your life is ruined.

My point exactly!!!
You have no point sir. YOU behaved foolishly and this post is CHILDISH.
Learn to walk with your  eyes wide open.  If you make it  a habit of walking with your eyes shut in the middle of an expressway expecting drivers to behave rationally and drive around you , don't expect to live long. Some mad driver will surely hit you and that doesn't imply that all drivers on the road are idiots any more than your presumption should imply that all pastors are thieves.

At this point I think that even if God had originally intended to reward your foolish behaviour with a job, I doubt that He will be inclined to anymore because you have compounded it with a greater foolishness of mocking Him. But then you never know with God !!
This story has re-enforced my decision to stop going to church. My experience is this :i'm from a catholic background strong one for that matter ,dad parish council chairman, mum strong member of bible society/sacred heart e.t.c.
After school i left home to begin life in Lagos as a working class adult.Initially i was attending the nearest catholic church to me but i was nut getting the much needed spiritual gratification-every sunday is 1st collection;2nd collection, harvest & bazzar, new church building,generator/church maintainance bla bla bla.
I left and decided to try a parish in R.C.C.G ,there i got another shocker! you can imagine a pastor on new year day first service telling his congregation that the past year was bad as people did not bring in enough money via tithing e.t.c i left before the end of the service and went to another R.C.C.G parish almost the story was repeated they were preaching about sowing towards church building and different types sowing.I left for home again feeling empty and sapped.
When i got home ,i made a decision to go back to my root which is Roman Catholic Church since there was no difference ,yet the same pangs of emptiness still hangs after some sunday masses.
There was also a sunday i drove around Lagos looking for a church that preaches more of salvation ,holiness & righteousness instead of money money money!
I have considered joining Deeper Life but i find most of their doctrines very radical embarassed though better than the biz guys that call themselves pastors!
I'm looking for a place in lagos (main land/island) where the ancient word of God is preached , mobile church/gathering is even prefarable .The church is just not the structure but individual souls!
Why do people go to church and expect to be taken away from reality ? Do you expect to find ANGELS inside the church instead of people like you with capacity to do right and wrong ? If you go to deceive yourself then don't complain if you meet with a greater deception. Go to church for your own reason and not because you gotta go somewhere. Believe what you hear there for your own reason not because you gotta believe something. Give money if you believe in the reason to give not because it will make you feel good or guilty. And most importantly realize that EVERYBODY in the church are human beings like you INCLUDING THE PASTOR.
Christianity Etc › Re: Are Pastors Thieves Without Guns? by felifeli: 10:44am On Jan 14, 2010
Why did you give ?  Was the money grabbed from your pocket ? No, you GAVE willingly.

I guess you parted with the money in belief that this act will get you a job INSTANTLY , and you were disappointed.
Sorry o, faith is different from foolishness. Faith is about believing even till this moment that you will get what you wanted even though it looks impossible. Faith is believing God not pastor which in this case you have believed pastor and you felt cheated because you did not get job as consequence.
Next time give your  money to babalawo or use it to trade recharge card instead of looking for job by the easier and lazier act of going to church.

This is indeed a funny post. Unfortunately YOU are the joke.

The sad thing is that there are a lot more Nigerians (especially in this forum) already crapping theirselves worrying very hard about their US visa (lottery) rather than their dignity as human beings. America stands to lose more face in the event of a diplomatic breakdown with Nigeria - especially over a matter which the whole world knows is unfair. I am sure Obama is no fool
Politics › Re: Senate Gives Obama's Admin 7-day Utimatum To Remove Nigeria From The Black List by felifeli: 1:27pm On Jan 06, 2010
You people have very little understanding. If we allow attitudes like this to go on against Nigeria we will eventually become the greatest joke in the world - you and me included. Do you continue with a marriage in which you are being treated like a dog ?. No, it is a nonsense marriage. I will vote that Nigeria suspends diplomatic relationship with US until the matter is resolved. Let us be able to walk with our heads high for a change rather than grovelling for acceptance. We are a great and intelligent people, not criminals like these countries are turning us into.
Yes , let's break diplomatic relationship with USA. It will be the biggest shock that they will receive and it will catch the world's attention that Nigeria means business- at last.

Else you would know that there is never a train carriage full of "UK whites" at any time of the day in any direction around UK. And definitely if you were foolish enough to announce yourself as a Nigerian terrorist on any train people will just laugh at you and offer to buy you a beer at the next stop. Go find job all of you.
