If you study history you'll realize that someone or some group always predicted something before it happened. Sometimes very accurately and sometimes vaguely.

Here's a prediction..... We're going to be re-enslaved in Africa if we continue with the language, education, religion given us by white people.

This ongoing already. It is already happening

I'd really love to hear your thoughts on what could be added to the dashboard to make the call to action more glaring...

Personally, I feel it's a pretty ok (basic) dashboard and if the analyst in question is a good storyteller, (a key skill)... the dashboard would drive required insight

For instance, if I were a decision maker,
I'll like to know the agents responsible for the 19% unanswered calls and ask HR or their line managers to relay necessary feedback to them so that answered calls can come up to 98% minimum...

I want to know why calls aren't coming in in February and March...I want to know why we have high number of issues on streaming & payment that are unresolved...
I'd also ask why we have calls over the weekend for complaints...my customers need to have the weekend to themselves so issues that are coming up over the weekend should be treated so that calls in that period are reduced to the barest minimum (win-win for my employees and customers)

And on and on and on...

A dashboard is like a gun. The capacity of the gun is quite important but not nearly as important as the skill or ability of the shooter.

Decent dashboard for me.

Thanks for the review boss. Really appreciate the insight you extracted from it.
The dashboard was simply a descriptive analysis and I strictly followed the project instructions in the course of building the dashboard.
Mere looking at it, someone could ask a lot of questions like you just did depending on the audience or purpose.

Yes sir

I got the data from PWC Power BI virtual internship and I just realized it is for call centre agents analysis. I will try and watch videos on it.

Thanks for your intervention sir.

I have worked on this actual dataset before, using powerbi. It is a straight forward thing bro. I did without watching a video. Follow the insights you are asked to get.

At the visualisation stage, It was displaying like a text but when I used the data used in the YouTube video, It visualized perfectly.

Probably you are not using the correct data type in your table in powerbi. Also try to check if your values are not 'summarised', or aggregated by default otherwise you will have to change it. Are you using the right chart?

I was able to visualize the excel document recommended in Power BI tutorial video but I'm having issue with visualizing my own excel document in Power BI. Please what would I do to be able to visualize my own excel document?

What problem are you facing specifically and at what stage? Kindly describe

ok, happy new year friends. just a quick one. do we have different type of data analyst for different industries?

I see some materials data analysis for accounting, data analysis for healthcare.
I just need insight into this. and a common ground for them all. @ejiod and other gurus over to you all.

Imo, that's where domain knowledge or expertise comes in, but the same analytical ideas or tools still work across different industries.

No, I don't secrete milk.

I will switch to the other one. Thanks so much for your counsel

OK nice. You might need your doc supervision for that, especially due to the reactions when taking it. There is a way to go about it. You start the dose small and increase it over time. Track ovulation appropriately and get down as usual. Don't be bothered.
Enjoy the new year

Thank you Felix.

I menstruate normally and I've been using Flo app to track ovulation. The doctor prescribed Parlodel last year for this same issue and I was on it for 3months before discontinuing. Now that we are serious about kids, it wasn't happening so I decided to check again and discovered it is still high. Cabergoline seems more powerful than Parlodel but I don't want to switch medications without medical counsel.

What's the recommended intervals for checking the Prolactin level?

Most times, cabergoline works better, tho it has some negative reactions when used but it can be managed. You might have to switch, but tell your doc. Whenever you quit the medication the prolactin levels goes back to the high side. Ensure you don't quit until pregnancy is achieved for optimum result , but the dose could be reduce.
Check the prolactin level like every other month. Do your bress secrete milk?

Thank you. Progesterone was done on the 21st day of my cycle. Happy new year.

I'm currently on Parlodel for the prolactin level and I'm almost done with one pack (30 days)

Okay, you are on the right track. Slow and steady., but ensure you check the prolactin level alone at intervals to be sure if the medication is working for you or not, I think cabergoline works faster. Do you menstruate normally? If so, you can keep track of ovulation..
Miracles happens.

Good evening mummies. Please can someone interpret this result for me?

Fairly satisfactory, however, take note of the prolactin level. Quite high, which could alter ovulation and its regularity. And looking at the progesterone, I think it should be higher for that day the test was done to show positive or successful ovulation.
Happy New year

No, not even Nigeria. I'm not even focusing on the Nigerian market ($$ is important).

Guys I follow on YT, Twitter, etc. such as Joma Tech, and one other lady, all made the switch last year.

That's just by the way tho.. Make i enter DS fully first.

I understand sir. The $$ will drive the passion.

This road is going to be a long one, you might not see the $$ flowing in for years as expected and hope you will not be frustrated to quit. Because you have to dedicate years to learn the stuff and become a pro.,

I no wan enter tech cos of passion o. cheesy

Do you mean naija guys? If so, I think there is no readily available market for data scientist in Nigeria yet, unlike software developers. One of the Reasons why those guys switched.

Your last sentence got me laughing. You too like money oo., however you need to be passionate about it as well. It is a tough calling.

God bless the OP for this post.

I'm presently following the Data Science hierarchy, hoping to become a Database Engineer (a long way indeed, but I no get choice).

Now my question is, can a Database Engineer be regarded as a Software Developer?

Because it seems the demand and pay for software developers is higher than other fields. If not, I'd like to focus on Data Analytics/Science.

Thanks boss.

Big No. No correlation between the two.. Different path entirely.

That was why I went for follicular tracking. And saw the egg before it disappeared.. I will do the progesterone test this cycle. I think I should do it on day 21 right? Thanks ma

Hello sabi mama’s in the house. Please I really need an advice on way forward. Been ttc for more than. Year now. I was diagnosed of pcos last year because My period cycle length was getting more longer. I went to see a gyn then the name is THE HOSPITAL at magodo this private hospital is draining they keep billing us. Even despite using the the inositol and vit my period still didn’t flow had to use a drug to induce it. So by MAY I just stop using all drugs since may till now my period as been flowing without any drug and cycle length is btw 29-33. So now my period is flowing normally but I don’t really know if I’m ovulating monthly I had follicular tracking last month and on day 18 I have 20mm egg And on day 20 I went to check again it was not there again. So does that mean I ovulated since the egg disappeared. Or how can I know exactly if the egg was released at all. Please I need guide. God bless u all

Good to hear about your progress. There is high chance you are ovulating. Try using Opk to check for consecutive days with a wider range., I assume checking progesterone level after your ovulation should also indicate if ovulation takes place or not, it goes higher after ovulation.

pls, is knowing python and its libraries (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, scrappy etc) enough to qualify one as a data scientist?
if no, what do one needs to add to qualify?

If you mean as data analyst, maybe yes. But as a data scientist (ML/AI), No.. Even as a data analyst you need to be proficient at SQL, plus Visualisation skills ( excel, powerbi and Co)

Consider the one that is widely used or applied in the business world. However they all have same syntax, just little differences.

Sorry, you actually got nothing much to be worried about really. Just work on the prolactin level for now, tho some of the other parameters seems getting higher.

Keep in touch with a gyn, affordable one!

Best bet, get cabergoline for the prolactin, though it is a big expensive, over 12k or so., more efficient and fast results.
For the main time, stop pressing or squeezing the nipplesss or brest.,(if you are secreting milk).
After taking the drug for a while, go for prolactin test again.

I'll be seeing the Dr on Friday to complain. Is there an injection to push period out?

Not really sure, but the purpose of the injection is to set your body back to its normal status, which will also allow your period to come at the right time.

Did they use stent for you?

don't know what else to do - I did hyteroscopy laparoscopy last month August to remove severe cervical adhesion + growth in my cervix which is successful. My period was supposed to have come since August 28th which I haven't see till now. Though I'm on carbagolin 5mg due to high prolactin ( breast leakage). I was not giving any ovulating boosting drugs after the surgery & I feel so helpless now. Does hyteroscopy affects cycle or is it the carbagolin that is delaying the period. Serum PT test done which is negative.

Has anyone done hyteroscopy to remove adhesion & still conceive?

I presume they ought to have given you injection to balance your hormones and push your period out at when due, for at least 2-3 months, then your body system would balance itself naturally without a need for further injection. The procedure would definitely alter some balances.
Try see your doc for further clarification.

Doctors in the house , i beg you in the name of the God .Help interpret this result for me and hubby. Thank you

I assumed you haven't been ovulating or ovulated the cycle which this test was done due to the level of progesterone which could be caused by the low level of the fsh or inadequacy of the Follicle to be stimulated to release eggs and yielding ovulation. Check the interval level in the result too

Also, on the SFA result, the sperm cells morphology is in good shape averagely, however the motility needs to be improved on, it is below the recommended level of 50% (he got 40%) which could affect egg fertilization.
