He's right, I'm very sure about removing the battery terminal especially the positive one, doesn't even have to be overnight but for about 5-10mins. It clears the check engine light.
Note; your check engine light will only come back on in minutes only if your car has a serious fault u have not tackled. My advice is that u scan your engine to get what fault it is.

To turn off that stubborn CHECK ENGINE light on some older models, turn the ignition to ON for 10 seconds and then turn back to OFF without turning on the vehicle. Repeat this twice and turn on the car. The CHECK ENGINE should go off.
If light persists in some cases, disconnect the positive terminal of the battery overnight.

CHECK ENGINE on some Toyota and Honda models is because filling station attendants don't lock the fuel cap well. Make sure your fuel cap is locked till you hear the clicking sound

Yesterday I played fts for 3-4 hrs because I want to complete a season. And I removed the pouch to avoid any heat...

When I was using infinix hot 4 pro, I remember I was playing an online shooting game and the phone got so hot that I removed the pouch and the back casing,my touch pad started malfunctioning the next day,I took it to repair centre and I was told the heat affect the touch flex .

Playing game and charging can roast a phone board.
