Okpollo:It is then obvious the local farmers do not have the capacity and security required to meet up with the gross demand for food in Nigeria. We need help. We can't continue to be hungry by closing the border If farms are not secure, the market has security. Trade across border is save if govt should open burder for food importation |

Okpollo:I like your submission but let us be sincere with ourselves. FG, CBN, ministries and state governments gave rice farmers everything from loan to seedlings, land, water, fertilizer, machinery etc. They even close borders to encourage them but yet, they came out with very expensive rice that is even of poor quality compared to that of India for that matter. Who will you blame in this scenario? And Nigerians must continue to buy it by force with a closed border? |
Politics / Re: Obasanjo Warns Against Opening Nigeria Boarder For Poultry Importation by femicyrus(m): 4:11pm On Dec 04, 2023 |
Okpollo: Why are you afraid to compete with fellow poultry farmers outside Nigeria at international market? What stops you from exporting your expensive eggs and chicken to other countries when border is opened? It would improve the value of the naira too. Why deny us assess to cheaper goods from competitors outside with your monopolistic backwardness? Dangote is doing it, a no name like you is also enjoying it, rice farmers too. We are part of ECOWAS and we should enjoy free trade across ECOWAS. Greedy few like you should compete not dictate |

INEC ought to be conducting election on government policies acceptance by Nigerians before implementation. Our borders would be wide open by now as a result |

Politicians and their manipulations If he was not under pressure to leave office, he won't release the fund because he can't be using allocation meant for the whole state to pay salary or pension of few alone. Now that he needs the empathy of workers to remain in office, he has suddenly forgotten he is the governor of none workers too. 3 Likes |

I wish to understand how NFF is being run. How it is possible to employ a coach you can't pay nor sack? I thought an employee ought to understand what the employer can pay before being hired and vice versa. Or why are all this whte men always holding nff to ransom with their poor performance 3 Likes 1 Share |

Politics / Re: Sins Of A Billionaire! Â how Tinubu Stopped Dangote From Defrauding Nigeria To F by femicyrus(m): 2:09am On Nov 30, 2023 |
Dangote will rather drain the blood of Nigerians for him to remain the wealthiest man in Africa He is the reason for the poverty of Nigerians as he controls all critical needs of the people. All his products are super expensive yet won't allow any competitor against him in the market. If tinubu can clip his wings of many years in aso rock and CBN then our hope of a better Nigeria will be renewed 1 Like 1 Share |

The level of corruption, extortion and bribery that will be imbedded in that 5 minutes biometric capture at passport office will shock the minister. The minister should look for a way to make the process 100% free from uniform men interference. Nipost should even send us the hard copy passport |
