Achi4u, see what I am saying because I know you hold the view below in bold. Your governor is the Chairman of the SE forum. I hope they always unite and discuss serious issues whenever they meet. I'd really like to see the integration of SE states. nonsobaba: [s]Obiano made sure that Okoroawusa never became the forum's chairman. This is the first meeting of the forum he attended after getting assurances from his colleagues that the saboteur will be shot down. In the meantime, Anambra state allowed a backward enclave like ebonyi to head the forum to see whether that would help stem the tide of rapid islamisation of natives of ebonyi state. I hear that a second mega mosque is about to be built in Afikpo.[/s] Don't be a dork! What is the meaning of this? People like you always make others see Anambra as supremacists. Dear all, please, ignore this troll. |

Keneking: Can't they sell Ambode's rice and conserve forex.
Mynd44 day don break Keneking sef! Welcome back! Nigerian military and paramilitary sef! Breaking into people's shops when everywhere is dark to confiscate goods which should have been been at the border and using soldiers as shield. This looks like a legal robbery. Why not wait to do it when people can see you? These goods cannot enter if there's no insider among them. Man the borders well, una no gree... ivandragon: as stated in the write up, the proper thing would have been to seal/post guards at the 'offending' shops & then carry out a thorough check on the alleged contrabands.
those guilty of flouting the law should then be arrested & goods seized... Do they understand these laws? They're not the only one. See EFCC that will use red paint to deface walls of seized buildings under investigation instead of using that tape used to seal off an area. I wonder what people will say since SE is not affected unlike last year December when they were accused of always bringing in contraband. I remember people accusing Igbos of playing the victim when customs were seizing bags of rice and extorting travellers. |

coolscott: Please, let it be known that South-southerners do not speak like this. We do not call anyone ridicule names like the one the OP used to refer to Yorubas. Easterners have their own ridicule name for us.
Please let the OP and others like him forsake their imagined alliance with the south-south in calling other people of different ethnicity ridicule names.
The south-south does not suffer from the illusions that plague the eastern mind.
It is interesting to see how even a political gesture to the south-south from folks like the op is highly undesireable. Can you imagine claims by the op that ...the north bowed to GEJ because of the leverage his region had on the polity?
If you think that statement is a gesture of friendship to the south-southerners, please we completely and totally reject the reckless ball you mindlessly toss around
GEJ emerged because the country liked him and rallied behind him, not necessarily because of "the political leverage that the south-south had".
We DO NOT have the bereft-of-wisdom brand of being, where we declare that we are superior to others and therefore, expect them to support us unconditionally on account of our declaration of superiority.
And I am aware that this act of political unintelligence was smeared on GEJ in the run up to the 2015 elections when Igbos went about peddling stories and ideas that soothed their imagination (dexteriously claiming that it was the Igbo votes in the North that gave GEJ a victory in 2011, whereas we know that both northerners in the North and southerners in the north voted for GEJ in that year)
This post is to help people like the op to keep their misdemeanours to themselves and their kind.
We in the south-south have always been called derogatory names by people from the op's ethnic group, even if we have been culturally and socially more developed than them through history (the white man had to pay taxes to our kings and chiefs to do business in our area whereas the white man had to appoint warrant chiefs in their own area in order to do business smoothly in their own area). Suddenly, GEJ emerges president and they pretend we are (or have been) their junior brother in their misplaced emotions of rancour which they culturally hold against every other people in Nigeria.
As long as I have the time, and I see nonsense written like this, I will respond to it and straighten some minds up a bit.
At times I will ignore too, but when I do, it means I do not consider the write-up worth responding to, or I am just too busy with projects and work at hand.
God bless our country. I find it distasteful of you trying to bring in Igbos albeit subtly into what is purely a Nler's opinion. Is it not desmondjuju, a well known SSner? As usual, anything to always paint the Igbos is always welcomed by folks like you. BTW, which Igbos went about with such story that their votes in the north brought GEJ to power? |

Barack Obama was even accused of being anti-British by part of British media because of his grandfather's suffering during that Mau Mau period. Especially when he removed the Bust of Winston Churchill from his office in the White house years back. What many may not know is that the actual first holocaust in history happened in England.
In 1190, the entire Jewish population of the City of York was wiped out by English mobs or forced to commit suicide. English people owing the Jews used the opportunity to destroy/burn records of monies owed to the Jews.
In fact the killing of Jews began in London on the day of coronation of King Richard I on 3rd September 1189. Hitler even used those events to justify that Jews have always been bad & killed. When we forget history, we repeat historical failures. Yet, the act like they're not guilty of anything. The annoying one is the Nanking massacre which the Japanese never want to apologize for and if I recall correctly, they denied it ever happened. Really need to update my knowledge. Thanks for this. |

The same people that accused IPOB of being behind the 'cancelled' protest despite the group fighting for a different course. The same people that supported the president when the Igbos and other minorities were tagged 5%. After hours of reading, I can categorically say that this bros josefe own small. Try reading about Shiro Ishii and his unit 731 where over 250,000 men, women, children and infants were used as lab rats to test biological and chemical warfare. It was appalling and unimaginable that a human could do these to fellow humans. I should have stopped here but my curiosity got the better of me and I read another human experimentation titled unethical human experimentation in the United States. Let's just say that I won't be taking dinner anytime soon. Injecting people with cancer cells, feeding people with radioactive materials, torture, inducing drug use, feeding kids with feaces infested with microbes, strapping newborn babies to circumcision boards and turning them upside down so that blood will rush into their heads, ecetera! Babacele: From the beginning the EIE should have been more careful in disabusing the minds of the public that ipobs and PDP are not going to use the protest as an excuse for mayhem in revenge for 2015 humbling by APC. For example , which accused 2baba of being sponsored by Akpabio facing serious corruption cases, should have been sued, and its allegation well debunked to gain our trusts . EIE did great by the epic answer to the pretentious fraud in Ekiti who taught this is another opportunity at comic tragedy of hauling hot airs at Buhari to amuse a scammed and weary' surffering and smiling' Ekiti audience.
Who knows what information has the police given the pattern of sabotage and deliberate attempt at provoking a religious crisis recently? A Fayose, Wike or an FFK can sponsor ipobs to turn the protest to a theatre of war that can truncate this republic so that all the corruption cases against them and their imminent prison terms can be smoldered. who knows? I find it quite shameful that you had to drag IPOB into this. I mean, aren't they the people who have decided to stay out of this protest as this isn't what they're clamouring for. Abagworo: Many will die avoidably from 2face partisan protest and he may end up in jail for instigating crisis. If the protest wasn't a PDP backed one people wouldn't mind but as long as it is partisan APC supporters will likely confront them leading to deaths and arson. Why must APC confront them? How many did PDP confront in 2012? Seems y'all APC stalwarts cannot handle criticisms when it is your turn but can dish it out when you are in opposition. Edit: Be that as it may, there's a certain hypocrisy I'd like to point out. The same people angry that the police are about to turn this megaprotest violent are the same people who cheered when there was a peaceful protest embarked upon by the IPOBs and were murdered by security forces instead of making sure there's no lootingof properties by hoodlums as opined by a certain mod above.
