This is the only argument NaruHina fans use.Sakura risks her life for and encourages Naruto in almost every episode. It's just not shown on an epic scale like Hinata's maybe because Sakura does hers everyday so it's become a usual thing.
I think the movie is kind of a denouement to the NaruHina issue since it wasn't resolved in the Anime series after her confession.I might be wrong but Naruto might end up rejecting her but would form a strong bond with her.Afterall the theme song-Star Vessel(where their picture hinted at the pairing) is about "friendships and bonds with other people"
I knew that was gonna be said 'the only argument NarutoHinata fans use!'. Frankly speaking, I haven't seen anything special Sakura has done for Naruto except maybe the healing ish which wasn't much and the soldier pills she gave him the period he was learning elemental control.
As for Naruto rejecting her, I have the same feeling because knowing Kishimoto, he's so unpredictable. The only thing I hope is Naruto not looking like Jiraiya who chased Tsunade all his life even ended up dying without any acknowledgement from her. She ended up regretting though.

Welcome by the way!

NaruHina is a crappy pairing. In real life,a relationship between people with Naruto's and Hinata's characters is a recipe for disaster..maybe that too harsh a word but it's just won't work out.Hinata I believe is infatuated with Naruto because she idealises him too much. She'd always give in to his excesses and would never reprimand him or stand up to him when he goes out of line. You can't expect someone who couldn't even talk to her crush without passing out to withstand his bullsh!t when he messes up.She'd just die in silence and we know how clueless Naruto is towards people's feelings.
Choi!!! This Kunoichi be spitting fire!!! grin

Maybe she was at first but over time, she's come to fall in love with him. Her admiration for Naruto actually turned into love, going as far as risking her life in the Pain arc, waking him up to reality when Obito nearly broke his strong will after Neji died by slapping him to reality. In all these, Sakura was nowhere to be found, even Naruto knows she's in love with Sasuke (my favourite part was casting her in genjutsu. . . That was EPIC! I'd have preferred death though. . . tongue)

Hey Guys I have a question.Does anyone know when the English sub of The Last:Naruto the Movie would be out?
It's gonna be out 6th December and it's gonna be only in Japan then I guess by 2015, we'll have access to it
TV/MoviesRe: Naruto Information by Feraz(m): 8:16am On Nov 01, 2014
Imagine this pairings -
1. NaruHina
2. NaruSaku
3. Naruke. . . grin grin grin

Kakashi was the hokage in the movie and from it also, it looks like Naruto was travelling the world and Sasuke also was not in the village. I think they both made it a point of duty to protect the shinobi world in different ways and places.

NaruSaku fans be vexing with the pairings. . . . grin grin grin

Enjoy!!

But see Hinata, the babe make sense die. If Naruto dull eh. . . angry angry

From the trailer, the movie seems to be centered more on NaruHina - about their love ish. It all happened two years after his last battle with Sasuke. And in this trailer, he is fighting a descendant of Otsutsuki

You guys don't just get it. No one does things like this anywhere in the world, it doesn't just make sense. I am not comparing Nigeria with those countries as we don't even know what we are doing (Just like these guys, you and many others on this thread), our education system is still lost in the 60's. Let me give you an example of what I mean in simple term; take for example, because your parents didn't buy you a shoe when you were 3 years old won't make you as a 20 year old kid to go and buy a shoe meant for a 3 year old kid so as to cover lost ground. Actually you can buy it but to sane people like me it will look stupid, that's exactly what these guys are doing. India's Minister of Science and Technology recently said they lost in the semi-conductors revolution when countries like Taiwan, Singapore, China, etc were keying into this revolution, but they can't afford to lose out in the nano-technology revolution going on presently. They are spending billions of dollars in research not into semi-conductors but into nano-materials and nano-technology cause they are not looking backwards but into the future and in the next 10-20 years we will see the result in their Health care, IT, manufacturing, etc. We need to join the world in the race and help develop what is going on at the present, there are many ways in which we can do this but surely not in assembling this.
In as much as I understand where you're going, be honest with yourself. Do you think that amount of money they used would have done a fraction of any of the above you listed taking into consideration the country these guys come from? Nanotech you say? How much does it cost ordinarily to build a research centre on the above? You said billions of dollars is being pumped into the research of the above technology so do you expect these students to use that partly sum for the above? You said it yourself 'India's minister of Science and Technology' but for these guys, which government ministry has decided to pump money and resources into researches in our various institutes to see the fruits of what you envisaged for India in the next 10 years?

Of course, what they did may not be all that awesome but the sheer will-power and the fact that they want to do something different from what many of their peers would consider a waste, they deserve commendation, at least, for their efforts. Imagine them being in a well equipped school, do you think they'll come out with the above?

Then again, I'm not stuck in the educational system of the 60s as you said. smiley

WackyJ1:
The real world caught up with us all.
We were told or given the impression that our drawings were a waste of valuable time that we would have otherwise used for more important and beneficial things.
We began to subconsciously believe that drawing was not going to take us anywhere in our current environment. perhaps we got admission into the university or began to be more busy and soon that part of us was forgotten, lost deep inside, buried among all the responsibilities that began to rest on our shoulders.
And then we just stopped,
Sometimes we remember and we wonder what happened
but we can never really put a finger to it
Then we feel the urge to try and start again
But we're never able to Draw up the strength to do so
This is the real truth. I sometimes beat myself for not improving that innate potential to a current level. Depressing to say the least but I've made it a point of duty to practice once I go for service and I hope to follow it.

Graviton, I'd like to see the end product of that drawing. It's taking shape already. . . .

Hey guys, I was thinking. . . Since Naruto is almost coming to an end, it's likely that Seun may bring it to the frontpage of Nairaland and it's gonna be from this thread ie the link to where we start discussing how it ended; if that's gonna happen, I think it won't be a bad idea for us all probably dropping a drawing about any character from the manga. . .

the bijuus would have to go for the IT to disappear.
If I recall correctly, the Sage said it's just a little of their chakras and Sasuke's Rinne-sharingan that is needed to dispel the infinite tsukuyomi as they would all be having meetings inside Naruto's subconscious so the bijuus disappearing is not gonna happen.

But there is nothing here that shows that these guys are learned, anybody can do this without going to school. Just folding and cutting sheet metals, putting seat and fairly used engine into it means nothing brother. We need to learn and move away from this rubbish, this is not the 14th century. What development means is improving the available ones, like improving the fuel efficiency of the engine, improve the accelerating time, reducing weight of the car by developing light materials with higher weight to strength ratio, etc. Which car manufacturer in the world will want to invest into this? NONE. If you try this as a lecturer/research in China, India, japan, etc, you will surely be stoned to death no doubt.
Oho!!! Now, you're making reference to these countries. Nigerians and hypocrisy. These same set of people will rant China made/India made and will state how it is not on par with Western nations yet when it comes to what a Nigerian has made, the technologies they so condemn automatically becomes adorable. They forget that despite the low quality work done by these people, they were encouraged which made them what/where they are presently and turned into nations where different firms outsource their various productions.
There really is an inherent problem with us. For students with that budget (#400, 000), they tried taking into consideration the negative factors that abound here in this country. But as the usual crowd mentality that we all have, we condemn, they never bothered reading the article to see that it was #.4 million yet they come here to criticise and say how they can couple sheets of metals together and voila! the car is made. Tomorrow, they'll say Nigerian students are not creative enough, they don't read anymore when they can't see a simple figure up in the above article about these young undergraduates. We should keep wallowing in our hypocrisy.

I'm sure when we hear and see what team Uniben did in South Africa recently, we'd still condemn.

Here they come. Cankerworms (TANoids) and Janja-weeds with accusations and counter accusations. Cankerworms celebrating the insult dished out to Nigerians and the highest office in the country by thinking the write-up is in praise to the present government and the Janja-weeds turning a blind eye to the fact that their saviour was also insulted and was called a blood thirsty old man.

Of course, these groups of followers with the brain of a gnat will not read between the lines but look for what to use in fighting themselves. Buncha never-do-wells who will stop at nothing to do all to ensure that whoever does not see reasons with them gets the hammer. Same set of hypocrites that say they need a credible person yet project someone whose administration has been riddled with corruption, they need someone young yet will vote for someone who trauncated democracy and is a known dictator, they need someone with a political will yet put up someone who loves being pushed, they need a youth but will not hesitate to say the youth does not have experience.

An article insults Nigerians, yet they celebrate, calls we the populace ignorant as we do not learn from history and we are happy, predicts that another set of mayhem may be unleashed on the populace should a particular candidate lose, yet they bury their heads in the sand like the ostriches that they are.

I thought it was said Tunde Idiagbon did most of the work during the reign of the general but how come all we hear is that it was the general who did the work? Anonimi, any input to the above?

what truth? Your president was insulted and you call it truth? Please pretend to sensible even if it is for one hour. embarassed

Ladies and gentlemen of nairaland...you see why we have to stop relying on oil?
For a long time on this thread....I have said it, and I will say it again....oil rich countries are not economic superpowers....unless they have small populations and/or strong industrial bases.
Since the 70'S, Nigeria has been over dependent on oil. It was the dependency on oil that killed off our industrial sector in the 80's....when we became so dependent on raw materials imported with oil money.
Once again, it is the year 1982. The Oil Price shock is at hand. Once prices drop to $70 per barrel....we would be in deep trobule.
Nigerians....OIL IS A CURSE. Time to end this dutch diseased economy that is Nigeria's.
P.S...Every Nigerian must read this article
I knew I'd find you here. . . . Lol. . .

I think it's time Nigerians reason together and force the government to stop its dependency on oil. It's time to face other sectors of the economy that will generate wealth and high standard of living for Nigerians.

Guys the quoted is what inspired the OP

I was on a thread where, even when I'm no longer conversant with scriptures, I tried defending Jesus, from the bible *facepalm*

I'm more conversant with the one I relate with everyday, he is very nice and couldn't possibly hurt a fly.
So someone brought the brood of vipers thing to my attention and in my heart I be like
"No, that can't be my Jesus"

On my way home.....
I was reminded of how harsh/passionate I could become when a core value of mine is being violated.
Depending on the situation, I can be mild or somewhat brash.

Does that make me any less, does that change who I am at the core? Certainly not.

On this issue, I do not claim to have comprehended fully, for there is twice as much as I do not know than I do know.

Here's the text (not my original thoughts, please. What you make of it is up to you.)

In the end, like Richard murray I'd say this......
God is better experienced than taught.

Your case study based on false information about Engineers in the Oil and Gas is a destructive one that would project the image of Nigerian Engineers in that sector that are undertaking back breaking jobs as lazy, gullible morons that only sits in their offices to collect fact allowances.
You think that these Oil and Gas majors are running a charity organization ? grin....smh
Go and stay in the offshore for two months then come and change your story or better still remain in the office and proffer a solution to a facility thousands of kilometers away with a boss that lacks simple patience and the entire team waiting for you to solve a problem that has no solution, then you'll understand that most Engineers and Managers in the oil and gas industries are drug assisted humans just to maintain their sanity. cheesy
Boss, na wa oh!
1. Have you tried interacting with most undergraduates? Do you know most do not know what happens offshore or how the sector works? I said I referenced a case study (albeit informal) of the way most think and that is their thought process hence the little humour added to the write-up.
2. The above write-up was not meant to project the Engineers in that sector as lazy and gullible morons feeding fat on salaries doing nothing, far from it; of course, I know most work hard enough to earn what they do but I was only buttressing my number one point.
3. I also said and I quote 'for anything I am ignorant about in the above write-up, please, do correct me as I am still acquiring knowledge!'

As an undergraduate, I don't know all; infact, my current knowledge on various fields and careers is just a drop in the vast ocean of ignorance which is why I asked for the house to still educate me.
