Uche Secondus as PDP chairman is a product of Gov. Wike's strangle hold on PDP. Recall, PDP had zoned the post to South and then SW. But Wike insisted it should be open to the whole South and in line with this imposed Secondus on PDP based on the strength of his financial support to the party. So if Uche Secondus failed then Wike failed too and he should therefore allow an agreement reached by critical party leaders on Secondus to run its full course.
