TV/Movies › Re: Court Frees ‘boko Haram’ Film Producer by ffo(op): 10:16am On Aug 20, 2013
ffo: Reprieve finally came for “Boko Haram” film producer, John Dada Adedayo, who was arraigned before an Accra Circuit Court, as the trial judge yesterday discharged him.

The accused, a Nigerian resident in Ghana was arrested and charged before the Court in Accra for his failure to get Ghana Cinematography Exhibition Board (GCEB) approval, before releasing his production.
The film is an exposition on the siege on Nigeria by the Boko Haram sect. It features award-winning Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel in the lead role.
The judge Audrey Kocuvie-Tay decided to release the accused person yesterday, following a request to that effect by the complainant.
The Ghana Cinematography and Exhibition Board (GCEB), the complainant through one of the members, Mr. Alfred Kumi Atiemo had sent a letter to the judge requesting for the case to be withdrawn. However a mild drama that nearly cost Adedayo his freedom ensued.
Immediately the judge pronounced that he had been discharged, the “Boko Haram” film producer stepped down from the dock. Apparently his action annoyed the judge, who immediately ordered him to return to the dock, because the order had been withdrawn for his inability to say “thank you”.
“Come back! I am withdrawing my order. Take him back. You can’t say thank you,” she said.
Adedayo then replied, “I said thank you. I can’t just leave without saying thank you.” Then he curtsied and said ‘thank you.’ He stepped down from the dock to make way for the accused person in the next case. He took his seat in the court room.

Acidiosis, i fully support your move. these people have drained the resources of the state, move all the institutions to their place. no visible insfrastructure in the state. teachers have been on strike for a very long time. kogi state civil servants are one of the least paid in the country. no good road (accident on regular basis), unemployment on the rise (Kogi state has one of the highest unemployment rate). all this since the creation of the state.
Politics › Boko Haram Leader, Abubakar Shekau, May Have Died Of Gunshot Wounds – JTF by ffo(op):
The JTF said the latest video by Shekau may have been staged.

The Joint Task Force, Operation Restore Order, in Maiduguri, Borno State said intelligence report available to it “revealed that Abubakur Shekau, the most dreaded and wanted Boko Haram Terrorists leader may have died”.

The JTF in a statement by its spokesperson, Sagir Musa, on Monday said Mr. Shekau “died of gunshot wound received in an encounter with the JTF troops in one of their camps at Sambisa Forest on 30 June 2013”

According to the statement, “Shekau was mortally wounded in the encounter and was sneaked into Amitchide – a border community in Cameroun for treatment which he never recovered.”

“It is greatly believed that Shekau might have died between 25 July to 3 August, 2013. He was reported to have masterminded the kidnap of the seven French citizens and that of the elder statesman Alhaji (Dr) Shettima Ali Monguno in addition to many murders of Islamic clerics in Northern Nigeria.

“He was also responsible for bombings of many places of worship and public buildings including Police and United Nations Headquarters in Abuja,” the statement said.

It also said the recent video released on 13 August, 20013 by the purported sect leader was “dramatized by an imposter to hoodwink the sect members to continue with the terrorism and to deceive the undiscerning minds”.

“The JTF wishes to appeal to the sect members to lay down their arms and embrace the Federal Government’s offer for dialogue,” the statement added.

I was having this argument with my colleagues in office yesterday. Some guys said good cooking skills matters more than beauty (since beauty can fade), also that every woman has an element of beauty in her and that a good cooking skill is more important than beauty. while some said beauty comes first.

Guys what do you think?
