Romance › Re: Why Can't Black People Admit That Whites Are More Physically Attractive? by Figger(m): 9:07pm On Jul 14, 2023 |
DaisyMellow: By white, I am referring to Caucasians; people of European ancestry.
Saying there is no statistical difference between people of European ancestry and people of subsaharan ancestry in terms of physical appearance is disingenuous. You are lying to yourself and you know it.
Please go out on the streets of lagos or any other metropolitan city in Nigera. Go to the markets and roadside. Watch school kids as they return from school. There are lots of physically unappealing people on this side of the world and they vastly outnumber the physically attractive ones, and admitting this does not make me a self hater. It's the truth.
Whenever I go out more than 80% of the people I encounter don't match up to what I would consider physically attractive. This is in stark contrast to what I witnessed when I travelled to Paris a year ago.
I am speaking from experience, not from sentiments. Have you been to Senegal? Togo? Even Benin Republic close by? There are lots of very ugly people in these countries and the number is way higher than the percentage of ugly people you will find in Caucasian demographics.
Heck watch the IAAF and compare the Caucasian athletes to the ones from Kenya and other subsaharan african countries. You will be lying if you think there is no obvious gulf in physical attractiveness sentiments won't let my people admit this bitter truth. |

Ugwuoke347: So every year, it is juju costume that defines UNIZIK's induction for Theatre Arts students. How did such a thing become the trademark and emblematic image of the Theatre Arts Department? This is quite curious. How can a whole University not see the oddity in making such a ceremony a carnival of juju halloween. This is nothing but a feast of Halloween under the guise of false pretense. I dey tell u, these bunch of lunatics no get concept at all. |

Felix6: time in school is never wasted, there are people who wants to be on nairaland as you, but can't because the knowledge of how is not there. that is just the least. have you ever imagine how it would be coming across many written signs and all you could do is just walk by without knowing what is on a single one? more like the blind mehn. education is never wasted, forget the present situation, later you will appreciate it. are u telling us that a secondary school leaver can't read or write? What we're saying is tertiary education is overhyped, period. |

Likoya: My biggest regret in life is following the advice of my parents instead of my passion. Now wey everything don burst, it's my fault and I just hope I don't commit suicide soon. I guess that advice is compelling u to attend uni. I can relate |
Nairaland General › Re: At Your Age, What's Your Biggest Regret In Life by Figger(m): 8:39pm On Jun 27, 2023 |
yemmit90: Don't ever say that again.
There is no guarantee that you will make it or not even if you learn the said skill after your secondary school. Majority of those that chose the same path earlier are Okada riders today, some can't even feed their families with the said skills today.
Please appreciate your degree and use that as template to achieve more in future endeavours. This is the same mentality that propelled my parents to send me to uni immediately after O level. The best education is basic education (good primary and secondary) tertiary is overrated. Talking about the aftermath of learning a skill, it all depends on what kind of skill, and also how focused and overzealous one can be in his or her chosen skill, u will definitely make headway. Today many graduates even M.sc holders are doing that same okada or keke u re talking about. Acquire a skill first, degrees can come later |
