I thought the NDA or whatever they call themselves are so powerful that no force on this earth can get them on a negotiating table. The bloody scallywags felt the heat, so they had to quickly jumped on their silly plan-b option. The FG shouldn't have dialogue or sat with them. The FG should have allowed the scumbags to exhaust their grenades before they {FG} make the final move on the terrorists{NDA}. No country on this planet earth negotiate with terrorists, rather they kill them. I have never seen a terrorists organization that is clueless, foolish, myopic, broke and outright stupid like this avengers. Maybe they{avengers} thought terrorism is a child's play not knowing that the thing requires a lot of finance, personnel, intelligence and guts. Just six months and the avengers are already broke and looking silly. The avengers are a disgrace to all terrorists organizations of this world. I believe boko haram will skin these liverless, chickenhearted and dumb avengers alive if they could get their hands on them. I was eagerly waiting for the avengers to blow up their region{yes their region} just because they want to spite the President, but behold, the fools chickened out. Useless twitter terrorists |
NBC, don't you think is high-time for your organization to sanction this particular newspaper called vanguard. I'm yet to see a newspaper that promotes chaos, terrorism, divisiveness, militancy etc like this particular vanguard. Their inflammatory headlines won't be accepted in any country of this world except Nigeria.Playing opposition shouldn't be confused with promoting dastardly acts. I have watched how they have tactically, tactfully and dangerously promoted, supported and glorified militancy while demonizing the Nigeria troops. Where is the NBC? I asked again. When news was spreading like wildfire yesterday that the avengers site has been shutdown by their host company, I didn't even give it to the news because this vanguard newspaper have always and is still serving as the propaganda news agency for the avengers. Concerned persons and agencies should please take note |
eph12:When did I say it didn't happened? I condemned the act and I even called for the perpetrators to be brought to book. Stop lying man. The only thing that I doubted was the authenticity of the beheaded woman's picture which actually turned out to be fake. |
My favourite Ali's quote; I'm so mean that I make medicine sick - Muhammad ALI{The Greatest} R I P |
ayindejimmy:True that. But one also have to be careful, you know some internet scammers are very smart |
ayindejimmy:You shouldn't have bothered yourself by giving out your Facebook user name to the person that was doubting you. Anyway this is damn funny |
Like this is most silliest lie I have read so far on this forum. And I'm very sure the people believing this horseshit have never travelled out of Nigeria nor have they ever boarded a plane before. So the DSS don't have any other thing to do aside tracking anti-government commentors on Facebook and giving them some "stern warnings"? I laugh. To even imagine this kind of scenario is somehow funny. Ok one arrived in Nigeria, and the DSS official will come up to you and be like; hey let me see your " passport", after giving him the passport, the DSS officer will now be like; hey give me some minutes, I will scan this your passport to see if it collaborates with your Facebook account. We just want to know if you have been insulting the President on Facebook{not even on Twitter}. Let me laugh again |
AntiWailer:I don't think the man has that kind of money with him{let's say for now}. Don't you think so? |
People should stop wasting their time on this dialogue issue. Buhari WILL NOT DIALOGUE with anybody. Is their lands and it's their waters, they can blow them off for all we care. About the issue of power, I think decentralizing the power sector instead of fashola's diversification will be the best option, though it may take some time to achieve this. |
$1million, isn't it a little bit too much? Like where do they expect the man to get this kind of money from? Unless the EFCC are not telling us something |
I don't know if am like the only one that noticed this; but this forum is gradually turning into some "avengers propaganda" site. Funny, I only get to see most of these avengers propaganda news here. Çc: Seun, mynd44 and lalasticlala, please what is happening? I'm beginning to feel a little bit uncomfortable here |
mazimee:And are they{militants} the ones to make such demands? Don't the Niger/deltans have senators and representatives? |
thaoriginator:Shooting in a village sporadically is not nice. Innocent persons might be shot for no reason. Nonetheless, the Buhari administration will not dialogue with any rag tag militias, that's a fact. The militants think their propaganda will defeat the FG, but it will dawn on them very soon that no ones dares the might of the state. They will be fished out in coming days. Right now the security agencies are trying to give them a face, and that's why all security agencies are taking their time. The DSS has also being involved. |

The former governor and the present governor of rivers state will be left with no choice than to work together, even if it just for today |
This is a nice move by this administration. Cleaning up that land will give the people of ogoni and rivers state some sense of belonging. I wish the President a safe journey{going and fro} |
Nigeria a country with 27 on-grid{3 hydros, 24 gas/streams} generating stations with a total nameplates generation capacity of about 15000MW and yet we are still struggling to generate just 5000MW, Funny. That's why I laugh whenever I hear the power minister{I still don't know what's a SAN's business with the power ministry} screaming 20,000MW. There are just so many things wrong with our power sector that I don't even know where to start from. Anyway maybe if all the debts we owned these gencos and their gas suppliers are fully cleared, maybe we might just begin to enjoy steady power supply. I don't even think the power minister can performed any magic in the power sector as long as we are still owning these gencons so much. |
Truth234:Thanks a lot for the enlightenment. Now I guess I know better |
Truth234:Which is not Zimbabwe legal tender any more, the Zimbabwe dollars or what? I don't get |
bookface:My bro I get your point and I understand were you are driving at, but my first comment here was a direct response to the question the op asked; which was why won't the government print more money so that every citizen of the country can become rich. |
ayguru:I used Zimbabwe as an example because two or three years ago, their dollars was almost valueless. Don't forget, I said 3yrs ago or so. Now I don't know how strong their dollar is. Maybe some kind of conversion happened, I don't have any knowledge on that |
bookface:And suppose the same CBN prints trillions upon trillions of naira notes and chooses to give every Nigerian 1billion naira note, what do you think will happen? We are talking about making every Nigerian a billionaire here and you are calling only 10 people. Inflation! Inflation!! Inflation!!! |
Hisduchess:Yes they do have exchange rate. Every currency has its exchange rate. But don't forget, my first answer to this thread was directed at the op's question; which was why can't we produce more currencies, and which I used Zimbabwe as an example. Honestly as of today, I don't know if the Zimbabwean dollars is still that weak and utmost useless as it used to be about 2years ago |
