this crawler does however: http://crawler.ademuanthony.com/

omohayek: A nice idea, but I think the real answer is even more cynical. The FBI doesn't really need the data on this phone, which belongs to a man who is now dead; the true purpose of this lawsuit is to set a precedent for the future, so that the FBI and the other three-letter agencies can force tech firms to backdoor all of their devices. That everyone in Silicon Valley understands this underlying ambition is why staunch Apple rivals like Google and Microsoft have signed amicus curiae briefs in favor of the company.
If the FBI wins this case, no one's data will be safe anywhere in the world. The French are already trying to pass a law to force phone makers to decrypt devices or have their executives thrown in jail, and both the Chinese and the Russians would love to be able to pass similar laws without being accused of censorship. Very reasonable. I hope the FBI wins the case |

seunthomas: Ok, let me tell you my honest opinion. I think the FBI just needs legality. The point is they probably have all they need on that device. They just cant present it in court because it cant be admissible(due to the means they got it). They need legal powers to say yeah we got this through the right means and are presenting it in court else any judge would throw it out. Also they want it to be wider more constant arrangement so they dont need to go through the rigours the next time they want to prosecute a case. Truly it's possible. Since I don't work in either place, I'm not sure but it truly appears FBI should have the tools to do the job. For me, I really don't believe in hiding data from government Agencies at all so Apple should calm down and do what the FBI wants |

seunthomas: But lets be real here do you think the FBI,NSA,CIA actually need help to decrypt the data? Even if they were using a 1024 bit cipher or do you think apple's OS is truly as secure as they make it out to be? I think the FBI wants something more. On one hand, you could be correct... On another hand I think they do need Apple's help. And it's not just decrypting data they need. They need to unlock the phone without loosing data. Normally, they should be able to unlock it, but that would mean loosing the data |

seunthomas: I got an interesting challenge for you guys on the IOS security. Most of you who have been following the FBI vs Apple case would probably have an understanding of what this is about. The FBI has been trying to get into the iphone 5c of a couple responsible for an act of terror somewhere in the US( San Bernardino,CA). Now the FBI guru's claim they cant get into the device(i will leave the details) and hence they need apple to create a backdoor. Apple refuses. Kindly air your views. Is the FBI correct, is Apple correct. I don't think it is right to force Apple to create a backdoor for their device. Apple actually helped with getting some data from iCloud, however the FBI kinda messed up and reset the Phone's iCloud account. And now it seems the only way around it is for Apple to create a Backdoor. If I were in charge of Apple, I would but I still don't think the FBI should force them. |

For those that are considering copying every file in a folder and subfolder and recreating that folder structure in the new location. You really do not need to stress yourself to right such function (if you don't like stress). There is an xcopy command on cmd, it has the ability to copy a full folder. I once used it to copy the whole System32 folder to another partition. So you can use xcopy c:\users\FincoApps\site_files c:\users\FincoApps\WWW\ Then to run cmd commands in C#, use System.Diagnostics.ProcessStartInfo cmd = new System.Diagnostics.ProcessStartInfo("cmd.exe", "/c THE COMMAND HERE " ; I use this method to do a lot of tasks that are ridiculously difficult without breaking a sweat |

deedat205: Well done you guys. Please, I want to know the programming language I can use to build a software that can visit a site on its own. For example, if I have a word document full of domain names, the software should copy the first domain, head down to estibot dot com and appraise the domain, then move back to the word document and paste the value by the side of the domain. The software should then move to the next domain on the word document and on and on until the last domain. I have a little knowledge of c#(console application and Windows form application). I think I can get things going if I know where to start from. I will welcome whatever solution any one can come up with, whatever platform. I just need someone to tell me where to start from You can use most programming languages for that. Just check about creating Http requests with that language. for example, in C#, it would look something like this WebRequest request = WebRequest.Create(theUrl); request.Method = "GET"; Stream dataStream = request.GetRequestStream(); Console.WriteLine(((HttpWebResponse)response).StatusDescription); dataStream = response.GetResponseStream(); StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(dataStream); string responseFromServer = reader.ReadToEnd(); //THEN YOU CAN DISPLAY THE RESPONSE FROM THE responseFromServer variable. reader.Close(); dataStream.Close(); response.Close(); Then just use the above code in a thread and loop through the doc |

seunthomas: Ok ohhh my brother with java background. If really you say you know java, do you know that an out of memory exception can cause an application to exit in an infinite loop? There are many scenerios that can make a recursive loop that does not have an exit function to terminate. Some languages by design are even implemented that way. I cant remember the language very well but i know one of this modern languages we use has that baked into it. That you dont know something does not mean other people are dumb or dull headed ohhhhh. Thanks for following me ohhhh. But try not to make it a habit of talking about things you dont know about. Its better to just watch and learn. What on earth are you talking about me not knowing ? seunthomas: You are just plain bitter. The fact that every statement you made about me has been wrong makes you angry. Kindly enlighten me how a person can create a program without running,compiling/interpreting it. It seems you have discovered something new. Ohh i forgot you have a php background and that makes you forget that when you go to the browser to check you code, you are actually running it. Can you actually contribute anything here asides useless sarcasm. LOl LoL, dude, have you noticed that I'm following you on NL ? That shows I'm not bitter at all. I'm following you because from time to time, you talk sense. And trust me, I don't care about being right about you. Also stop assuming, I only started real PHP last year, I have conc Java background because I started programming when BlackBerry Java phones and Nokia S40 phones were still popular. |

seunthomas: Dont mind that guy bro. The question he asked you. Your answer was correct. i was stressed up with real worker else i could have seen it clearly. The guy no sabi anything at all. He just they rub him ego. LOL. I think you are still stressed. When I saw this question airsaylongcon: A procedure "CallBack" is recursive for *some* inputs. If this procedure is guaranteed to terminate, then which of the following is not true.
a) CallBack has a local variable b) CallBack has an path of execution where it is not recursive (doesn't call itself) C) CallBack refers to a global variable or has one or more parameters
The name of the procedure (or function if you like) is CALLBACK.
This procedure is recursive if it gets certain values (eg 3 or 7 or 199 etc) For other values it is not recursive.
Irrespective of whether it gets a value that makes it recursive or not recursive it WILL terminate.
Which of the options in A-C is not true given the above qualities of the procedure I was not sure of the answer but I was 100% sure it isn't B. Stop talking about stackoverflow. Stackoverflow is not guaranteed unless you purposely do it in which case would be stupid of the programmer to purposely cause an error just to end his own recursive function. |

seunthomas: I disagree with you. Its just that some languages are harder to do things in. This could be done in python in minutes-1 hour but may take sometime in c for me. It does not mean i dont know or mastered c. Not quite. I put it to you that a C expert would do what ever you feel is harder with C without breaking a sweat. A friend of mine working in BlackBerry once told me "The set of people that worked on Fb Ajax system probably don't know even 2 + 2". It's an exaggeration, but he meant they particularly studied only that part of web tech Have you seen a Job listing from a company like BlackBerry or other Big companies ? See example in the screenshot... this is from BB I think My point is, they require specific skills, you don't see them say applicants should be good in Java, C, C++ Javascript, Node, Php MySql, AngularJs etc like most smaller companies... common no one can master everything

seunthomas: First of all, do you know the answer to the question you asked me(Seriously and no fooling around).
The challenge was supposed to be generic with a choice to pick a any tool of choice. I know c but i prefer to use python or java for this kind of task.
Lastly was this question sourced online because the idea was to test individual skills and not to throw me interview questions from online sources( i may still attempt it but require honesty on that). I guess now you know what we meant when we said you must have a language or 2 that you are better at. Apparently, you don't know C as well as you know Java or Python. I know a few languages too but I find it easier to solve problems in Java and Javascript compared to others. I hope you understand now...it's all about PREFERENCE |
