MrBrownJay1: Bro stop disgracing yourself with your immature low self esteem above comment. If you are afraid of the attention that your woman gEts, then why don't you go date a fugly woman. This is what comes with the territory (if/when dating a beautiful woman) the catch is to be mature enough to understAnd that she is YOUR woman, and has chosen YOU as her man. Be proud instead of beng scared like a lil puppy.
I guess you now want her to close her social media and/or be unattractive to everyone, so she can all be for your own pleasure, abi? Those compliments gets them carried away. Any small thing, she will start telling you many guys are dreaming to have her. It's affecting them bro not me as a guy Women are not good at handling pride |

anonimi: Why spoil your comment with the unrealistic last sentence? From the quotes I'm getting, I'm beginning to believe that Nigerians are not good readers That statement is literary but they are seeing it as it is instead of comprehending the context of that statement. I simply mean we may have attained modern civilization faster than we had done |

eginaP: Do more research. What you stated is not exactly correct. Human and technological development is not linear. Many technological success and other historical events happened by accident and immediate need; some also came by historical research material shared over time from multiple other sources not directly related to the age in question.
Also remember that a lot of significant libraries also existed during that time. The bolded is the source of most discoveries . Alexandria town is a research based town with enabling facilities infact the town is best suited for research. Visiting researchers and scholars were granted special status and had all needed resources, funding and support provided by the "government of the day" then. It's practically the center of learning and research. Yes there are other libraries but the standard differs. A lot of research efforts was frustrated when the town and it's library was destroyed. FYI Archimedes had his first invention in Alexandria town |

ksly24: Nah, dont think so Do you know the volume of research work that was burnt ? Alexandria University Town was the world's center of learning and research. World's greatest thinkers, inventors, philosophers and scientists all have their research published and stored in that library. Study the history of Alexandria bro. |

Burning the library of Alexandria in Egypt is the costliest mistake in human history. It set the world centuries backwards. Our great great grand father's may have used smart phones in their time. |

SocialJustice: Seun observe the trends and please do the needful. If Igbos do not want to be part of Nigeria, nairaland should not be a platform for them to vent their hate.
You're right, even offline, whenever you hear secession talk, there is a 98% chance an igbo is responsible. This contraption named by a harlot and led by a nomadic dullard must disintegrate. It's an evil to humanity |

nextstep: People keep wanting to run away.
You're not seeing all these buildings popping up? All these beauty products being sold? Food, farming, clothes, solar, real estate, furniture, entertainment, transport, logistics, banking, technology, and so much more.
These are not funded by yahoo. These are being done by hardworking Nigerians all around you.
Do we have issues? Yes, but I tell you, for every Nigerian who runs to another country, there's one who stayed and is reaping the benefits. The money you want to raise to "travel abroad", and that will sustain you for 3-6 months while you find work... it can be put to better use.
But let me not stop you... the others who have gone and are hiding in the shadows, or begging for government assistance to bring them back home... they've gone and seen that abroad no be beans. Guy 70% of people putting up those structures are diasporans or funded by diasporans. The rest are highly connected Nigerians who have links to the corridors of power or have one or two illegal deals . Let me shock you, it is possible but very difficult to make it legitimately in Nigeria of today . I know the goings-on in the construction sector, I know what I'm saying |

Kekereekun123: abroad even those with kids during old age their kids hardly come to visit them. Old people in my area take care of them selves. When you cannot take care of yourself anymore you go to old people's home. Kids here most times when they reach 18 they are gone. So marrying or not marrying wont change anything in the west. Everyone faces his or her own lives abroad. It is selfish to raise kids so they will take care of you. |
