Edo is doing quite well. I discovered this new wave of Igbo hustling mentality among them. Like the Igbo's, they don't need the government to survive. Unfortunately, our brothers from the other side are fast embracing the Northern mentality since 2015 Check the statistics of poverty and education in the SW (excluding Lagos dominated by other states) from 2015- date to confirm what I'm saying. horsepower102: I notice that recently, Edo state is doing really well in human development indices. Lots of various stats have them doing well.
Yes, Edo has challenges but with current trend, that state has a bright future.
They dont have awa oyel mentality or go back to your land mentality. They are not scared of competition and are upto the challenge. |

I agree with you. But if you see any opportunity to give your children citizenship of serious countries. Grab it with both hands. Meanwhile, hustle and give your kids a better life. It's worth it. (The advise is for me too) verybadmouth: The fact is everyone can't go. |

Your kids have 80-90% chances of surviving legitimately (through education) over there. Here the chance of legitimate survival (through education or legit business) is like 5%. Then surviving illegitimately (yahoo, runs, stealing, drug etc) is like 10-15% Which is better? You think someone that enjoys all the packs of a multinational company manager here but choose to abandon it and travel abroad doesn't know what he is doing? verybadmouth: Good for them that are willing to give their kids the chance because they can afford it. But please remind them that it's a privilege that many will never have so they should not oppress the ones that are unable to get better country citizenships. Besides, do you think kids in Naija wouldn't succeed? |

If only you understand what it means to give your kids citizenship of serious countries. Don't think you are wiser than them. Just pray that you or your relatives are not down with a life threatening disease in Nigeria. That's when you will understand that living well in a country goes beyond eating, fvcking and producing children like roaches verybadmouth: They make other kids in Naija feel worthless, Naija way. |

I'm tempted to believe this analogy. Let's not glorify evil, our society/family value system is crashing. Oyibo may survive the crashing of their family value system cos of their strong institutions and working govt. but the moment we lose our family value system here, forget it, Africa is gone 007s: So basically the higher the number of girls recruited into the olosho industry, the lower the number of potential girlfriends. Thus,as more gals join the olosho industry, the quantity of direct alternative i.e., girlfriends reduces, thus creating an increase in demand for oloshos, and increase in price of olosho services. The average nigerian gal has atleast two boyfriends, thus if 20 gals should join the olosho industry, the no. Of men demanding for olosho will surge by 40. |

Guy you get sense ? How on earth do you think someone that won 13 states (let's assume it's only Rivers state that was rigged) came third while another that won 12 states came first . Abuja is the centre of unity hosting all states in Nigeria. How come He couldn't muster even 25% in Abuja? How can somebody lose Kano, Lagos,Jos, Enugu, Port Harcourt and Benin City, the leading cities in Nigeria's major regions and win the election? who voted for him? Do you have conscience at all or you are having a mental problem? Forget politics, you are not just normal StOla: If you like even dash Obi all the votes cast in Rivers, dash him all the votes cast in Lagos, and dash him all the votes cast in Plateau, while scoring Tinubu zero votes in those 3 states.
Guess what?
Obi would still be a loser stuck on 15 states and FCT, while Tinubu would still be a winner with highest votes and 27 states where he scored 25% or more. |

At least the rec will have 500 to 800m or more from the 2bn marked out for this game ( according to confession from the DSS man) One wonders how much Yakubu don collect in the Presidential election. Money dey this country walai Revolution2022: It seems the suspended REC did not play the orchestrated game properly. The ploy was that collation of re-run results have been concluded to favour the APC governorship candidate. But the REC didn't allow collation to complete before he announced the results. My own is for him to even abandon Nigerian politics and focus on his business cos Nigerians don't deserve him. I want things to get to a level where politicians will teach us a lesson to the extent that everybody will carry Cutlass and be chasing politicians like thieves just like the French revolution and it's fast becoming a reality However, on the other side, we still need people like OBi to continue stirring up hope in mostly young Nigerians that we can still take back this country. Obi is working well in that aspect and the results is unprecedented. mrvitalis: This my issue with Obi ....he is not a regular politician which is why I was praying for the LP/NNPP merger to work so kwankwaso can take over the political structure
Obi is just a technocrat that wants to work for the people
He would have insisted emeka inehdioa ran under labour with that take imo , sure Enugu would be won back through court labour should have
IMO David Lyon should be offered labour tickets assap to win bayelsa Kogi is in the right track he needs to do more

TVC really messed up. Back in the days the journalist hangout was the hottest program in town. All of a sudden they derailed because of money. Now NTA is more popular than TVC. Arise TV is taking the lead right now. Channels have long discovered this and is trying to catch-up by reducing APC bias in their reportage. They have learnt their lessons. |

Go and read Hope Uzodinnma vs PDP case. Rivers state Presidential election is very clear now, even INEC can't deny that. What it means is that the claims in other states is credible and will be subject to forensic examination. Guess who will emerge winner if all votes are reviewed? Infact they should even start the vote review from Peter OBI's bedroom before going to his polling unit as long as all polling units will be reviewed. It's getting interesting FreeStuffsNG: You and Mr Obi lost in Rivers and if you are really serious and fair, just wait for the courts to decide. All these gossips do not translate to fact. All those sheets Premium Times admitted it could not read will be demanded for and presented in court same way APC will do forensic checks of all the Agulu results from SE like the one below.
If you can believe that Mr Obi had higher votes in Rivers but can not be honest enough to admit that Mr Obi lost woefully in Yorubaland ( as he admitted in the leaked audio with Bishop Oyedepo) and core North then you are not being realistic.
As you struggle to admit, it remains a fact that most voters in Yorubaland and core North do not know Mr Obi, his name, face, party and his kind of tribal/religious divisive politics. Incidentally, these two regions have the highest number of registered voters in Nigeria. |

If OBI/LP is able to prove the rigging in Rivers state alone, then it automatically gives credibility to other claims in other states. Exact thing that happened in Hope Uzodinnma case, He used a few polling units to prove the suppression of his votes in hundreds of polling units ( another discussion for another day) in the supreme court. My question now is : how come a seasoned politician like Wike is unable to clean the dirty tracks in the Presidential election but neatly did same for the governorship ? |
