Everything in life is guided by principles and if truly INEC stated that all presidential candidates or contestants should verify the qualification, what stops GMB to do so? He should be disqualified on that line.
On a second thought, Mr Agbakoba, what is the basic requirement as contained in the Nigeria constitution is allowed for any one to contest a presidential post or gov/nass? Compare the two and which one should supersede the other? Also, what if the certificates are lost or consumed by fire, then what next? Just thinking though.

The law stipulates a minimum of school certificate, the masters and Ph'D buhari obtained from Havard war college and Oxford bomb making factory if any is irrelevant ( though if available is added advantage ). Now the lawyer is telling you that you need to state your qualification on that form, which buhari never did, instead in the column he saw Qualification he filled "My document are with the secretary of military board" Is that statement equivalent to the certificate you his almajiri followers claim he has?

Present the certificate for Christ sake, IBB destroyed the certificate, are the schools that issued them on leave have they closed down or stopped issuing certificate? how come he has not bothered to go file for replacement over 20 years now, are there no people who's document got burnt or missing and went for a replacement, why is buhari's case different?

God, what kind of humans do we have in this part of the world, i just imagine how electorates in United State or UK or other developed countries will even be discussing this issue, this show buhari's followers are trying to tell Nigerians buhari is above the law

PoliticsAPC Tackles Fayose On Sack Of Perm Sec by fkaz(op): 12:31pm On Jan 16, 2015
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has flayed the sack of the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Mrs Bimpe Aderiye.

The party said the sack which was done “through radio announcement amounted to disrespect for public service law and a throwback to the military era.”

He said it was regrettable that Aderiye was sacked for allegedly criticizing the drafting of teachers to join Jonathan’s campaign rally in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday, saying punishing top echelon of the civil service for following the service rules would ruin professionalism.

The party also asked the state governor, Ayodele Fayose, to tell Ekiti people why he denied collecting refund of the money that former Governor Kayode Fayemi spent on the construction of Ado-Ifaki and Ado-Akure roads.

The government had through a public announcement on the state radio yesterday directed Aderiye to hand over the property of the ministry in her care to the most senior staff in the ministry.
The government gave no reason for the sack.

The APC Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatubosun, said it was regrettable that Ekiti has returned to the era of “instability in the civil service.”

Urging Fayose to explain to Ekiti people what he did with the money refunded on federal roads, the APC said Ekiti people would also want to know how the governor has been spending money collected so far by his government without paying workers’ two months salaries.

But the government, through the Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, denied APC claim that the federal government refunded money owed the state.

PoliticsI Found Nothing After Probing Buhari’s PTF – Obasanjo by fkaz(op): 6:56am On Jan 14, 2015
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday said his administration probed the accounts of the Petroleum Trust Fund headed by the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) and found nothing unpleasant.
Buhari headed the PTF, inaugurated in March 1995, under the regime of the late dictator, Gen. Sani Abacha. The PTF was established to manage the fund accruable from the increase in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise know as petrol, from N3.25 to N11.
The PTF was scrapped by Obasanjo on assumption of the Presidency in 1999. The ex-President also set up a committee to investigate the accounts of the PTF following allegations of N25bn fraud in the agency.
Obasanjo’s fresh revelation was made in Ogun State when Buhari and other national leaders of the APC visited the ex-President at his Hilltop residence in Abeokuta.

On the Buhari’s entourage were the APC national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun; the party’s former interim national chairman, Chief Bisi Akande; a former governor of Lagos State and a national leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu, and the governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, among others.

Obasanjo said when he looked into the report submitted to him on the alleged fraud in the PTF he did not see anything incriminating concerning Buhari.

He said, “When you were going to become the manager of PTF. We talked about it and when you finished and I took over, we looked into it.

“I haven’t said this publicly, I would say it publicly now. When we looked into it, there was really nothing amiss except that that organisation went from road building to mosquito net-buying and all sorts of things.

“And what the investigation discovered is a bit of inconsistency in prices and all that. In one area, mosquito net might have been given for N50; in another, N45. And I then remarked that this is fishy. We should look into it.

“And I called my brother and colleague (Buhari), I said see this and he said ‘look we are managing billions of Naira and I tried to make sure I see everything. But I will not say that what they have said about this is correct or not correct. But I can assure you, I tried to see everything.’

“I said okay Muhammadu, between me, you and God, was there any personal benefit for you? And you said ‘no.’ I said that is the end of the matter.

“Although there was that investigation, its report was not of any material importance.”

Obasanjo asked Buhari and other presidential candidates to address the nagging issues of insecurity, economy and deficit in infrastructure.

He implored the presidential candidates to focus on issues rather than trivialities.

He said, “I hope people will face issues rather than trivialities. On occasions like this, issues are very important. And you have mentioned three areas which are demanding issues in Nigeria today.
“I will just beg all of you who are contesting to add one to it; you mentioned economy, you mentioned corruption, and you mentioned security.
“I will beg of you to add infrastructure. It’s very important. You may take it as part of economy but I will take infrastructure as special and give it special attention.”

While he described a political party as a microcosm of a nation, which would consist of near saints, devils, rapists, and armed robbers, Obasanjo warned that when the party wanted to go into government, it must look for men and women of integrity.
Speaking earlier, Buhari said he would tackle corruption while the resources would be used to address infrastructural deficit.

He said if elected, his administration would also give priority to security and fix the economy, stressing that Obasanjo had more experience than him and others in governance.

He said, “It’s a fact that you know more than all we know about the problem that we are in. But what we’ll do is try to convince you to believe us that we are going to do better.

“We have been going around three fundamental issues: security, economy, corruption. This vicious circle is what the APC is determined to break.

“Because without security, there is no way the country can settle down not to talk of living in it. So many people, educated and uneducated, some said up to 60 per cent, will say Nigeria is sitting on a keg of gun powder.

“We believe that if we are able to stop corruption, a lot of resources will be available to invest in infrastructure, get the factories to reopen, get jobs and get goods and services. So security, economy, in terms of employment, production, manufacturing, goods and services, and then agriculture will again be given impetus to employment.”

See it as a challenge and hope for the best bro
FamilyBride Dumps Groom On Wedding Day by fkaz(op):
A final student of Federal Polytechnic, Oko in Anambra State, southeast Nigeria, did the unthinkable when she snubbed her groom on her wedding day and called off the wedding already arranged by the two families.

The wedding was to take place on Saturday, 3 January, 2015 and guests invited to witness the ceremony at St Patrick Catholic Church, Umuchu in Aguata Local government, Anambra State, were shocked when Ifunanya Igwebuike refused to show up to tie the knot with Ekene Uzoigwe.

After several hours of waiting, she later sent a message to the Parish Priest, Rev. Father Lawrence Maduagwu, that she was no longer interested and asked him to cancel the wedding.

Ifunanya alleged that she could not go ahead with the marriage because she was a graduate unlike Uzoigwe whom she claimed was a school drop-out.

Rev. Maduagwu had no option than to inform the groom and the guests that were already seated at the church hall that the wedding had been cancelled.

This caused an uproar in the church as guests who expressed shock over what happened started trooping out of the church.

Narrating what happened, Uzoigwe said he proposed to Ifunanya for marriage and she agreed on condition that he would send her to school, which he agreed.
He said after she gained admission, he was financing her education and they agreed to wed during her final year.

He said he had paid her bride price and she was part of the whole wedding plan and he even gave her parents N160,000 to prepare for the wedding, besides other arrangements and expenses incurred on the wedding and reception.

Uzoigwe said she did not inform him about her decision to back out of the wedding until he got to the church only for the priest to inform him and the guests about the cancellation of the wedding.

“If she had informed me, I would not have made arrangements. We had already cooked food and bought drinks for the wedding,” he said.

He said when he contacted her parents, they said they would not force her and asked him to come and take back the money he gave them to prepare for the wedding.

Uzoigwe said he was still shocked about what happened because he did not quarrel with Ifunanya before the fateful day.
He said he also made sure she was comfortable by making money available to her while in school.
Uzoigwe is a business man based in Abakiliki, the Ebonyi State capital. He met Ifunanya at their home town, Umuchu, where he proposed and sent her to school.

Christianity EtcCrossover Service: Nigerians Blast Chris Oyakhilome Over Gate Fees by fkaz(op): 7:39am On Jan 07, 2015
Revelations that worshippers at the headquarters of Christ Embassy Church ‎in Lagos had to pay N1,000 each as gate fee to attend a New Year’s Eve service presided over by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome have shocked many Nigerians and infuriated others.
Worshippers who wanted to attend the crossover service at Christ Embassy’s headquarters on Billings ‎Way in Oregun Area of Lagos on 31 December, 2014, were made to obtain gate passes that sold for N1,000 each.

Those who could not afford such passes were turned back and told that they could go elsewhere to worship or watch the service online for free.
While the practice ‎is not new in Christ Embassy Church, it led to an uproar in January 2011 after it was first introduced on 31 December, 2010.

Many people described it then as extortion, abuse of ‘Jesus’ teachings and another confirmation that some Nigerian churches and pastors are more interested in making money than winning souls for God.
But the church explained, though informally, that it was a way of controlling the crowd and discouraging thousands of people who come to church once a year on 31 December and prevent “real worshippers” from securing seats at the headquarters on that important night.

The argument did not win many fans and under a barrage of criticisms, the church prayed the matter would be forgotten. Nigerians also hoped gate fee collection would stop.
But the practice has continued and is now seen as routine with those who cannot afford the money being turned back on 31 December of every year.
With a sitting capacity of roughly 20,000 seats, Christ Embassy might have made at least N20 million from the sale of gate passes used for the crossover service.

Worshippers in Christ Embassy and former staff have complained in the past that the emphasis was often too much on money in the church rather than on spiritual things Jesus Christ taught his disciples.
While virtually all prosperity churches in Nigeria apply the principles of “giving ‎to the church to receive from God”, many say the level of financial demands and pressures in Christ Embassy
Church is unusually high.

Since the revelations about the gate fees collection at Christ Embassy Church were made public last week, Nigerians have continued to express shock, outrage and indignation with many finding it hard to believe it.
Many Nigerians expressed their indignation on the social media, especially Facebook.

”Gate fee collection appears good for crowd control in a theatre or secular concert, but not sound enough in the house of God where Christ the head of the church bids everyone to come, even when they only respond once in a year,” ‎said Femi Olulowo on Facebook.

He said the church should rather see their once in a year response as an opportunity to reach out to the loss (non regular attendees) and make disciple of them as Christ commanded.
“Even if the church prefers his already saved members to partake in a particular service, gate pass should have been given to them at no cost and they will have the privilege of going in first.

“The crowd control rationale for gate fee collection in church in my opinion is world based,” he said.
According to ‎Onyeka Daisy Okochi, salvation doesn’t come at a cost.
Daisy said in the Bible, a man who wanted to pay for salvation was refused.

To Oyagha Anthony, Nigerian worshippers are gullible. “Did God come down through him (the pastor) that day?,” he asked.
“I have watched the man preach severally and I don’t know the magic in his sermon and anointing that keeps making people fall for his tricks and gimmicks.

“He quotes one Bible reference and shouts as if he just revealed what no man had ever read or seen in that passage before and then takes a run front and back and they all starts shouting. Just disgusting most times,” he said.

To Clement Ali, “‎does it mean if I don’t have N1000, I won’t be allowed into the service?
In that case, his intentions is the money.”

“Let them continue to pile up riches for themselves here on earth where moths will eat up and where thieves will break through,” Ali said.

He added: “SALVATION IS FREE and cannot be bought with money. Jesus said, freely l gave you, so also, freely ye shall give.”

According to Erijery Reuben Mateta, some people are born spiritually blind, deaf and dumb.
“However you preach to them they will never hear and understand,” Mateta said.

sambo wrote to the institution he attended. the institution wrote a letter attesting sambo had specific qualifications from them.
If buhari will write to US war college, i bet you by Thursday, he would have a letter attesting to his Masters degree.
Buhari submitted a court affidavit which is more grievous if found guilty, attesting to his record he fill in INEC form, if you think he is lying can go to court and compel him to show/prove it or he should be disqualify.
