Fighter2029:We have numbers of such project going on in almost all part of the country for a very long time. Maybe it's new in your region, I wouldn't know. |
enemybulldozer:It's your fight, go fight for it. No amount of emotional blackmail would drag outsiders into your struggle. The earlier you know this, the Faster your biafra realization. |
Ipac chairman is myopic and emotional. Has he considered the fragility and sensitivity of such arrest? In a country that is ridden of conspiracy theories. |
madridguy:You're are very right. Op, remind her that marriage is between husband and wife and not with families or your mum's spirit will not forgive you. What goes around comes around. |
spagettiluv:will you mind the Ajegbodos 😃 |
There's a certain tribe that has this pull him down syndrome. They so much believe in mob action as a way to press their sentiment home. Mynd44 is now their target as a water test for Nairaland. They do mistake cunningness for wisdom. |
Igbos think they can cyber bully Tinubu's presidency as they've done to Buhari but nah, they met their match sophisticatedly ![]() |
Yedidea:going by this your description. This nearest/closest towns' name you mentioned is Igboora town in Oyo state. What your mother is probably holding back is his native name. you can just lay hold on that, you'll have headways. |
Don't be too proud to take up teaching job. Atleast it's More honorable and less risky than security job. |

*Copied from facebook.....the great historian is here* *Anambra is a Yoruba land according to history.* A Yoruba man who founded Anambra went to market but he got a call that some visitors were waiting for him, on his way home, he saw a shop where they were selling bras and decided to get for his wife which took him longer than necessary. When he got home and they asked him why he returned late, he said *'àn ńá brà'* (meaning we were bargaining bra price) that's how they came up with the name, Anambra. Shebi all of us are now historians, let's continue that way. Happy new week to you Me: I tell you. It was Ọọni Abewela who established Onitsha as a market town. He named it Oonirisha market but when his non Yoruba slaves, the Igbo wanted to pronounce it, they got it wrong and called it 'Onitsha'. It is time we claimed our heritage. 2. Alaafin Adegoolu established Enugu. He once married a strange but beautiful girl. He loved her so much because of her beauty. Her teeth was perfect, a reason why Alaafin used to refer to her as 'ẹnu gún rege' which was shortened to 'enugun'. There was fight among Oloris and Alaafin did not want Enugun to be deformed due to fight so he sent her to his newly established farm settlement far in the East and even ordered people to join her there. When the new settlement was getting larger, people asked the Alaafin what name would the place be called. Alaafin replied that "let us name it after my wife Enugun." That is how the place was named and after a long time, it metamorphosed to Enugu. Kaaaaaabiesi o! Craze no be monopoly of a people😁😆😀 The whole of the eastern region as we know it now belongs to the Yoruba people. During the reign of Orompoto in Oyo Kingdom, there was an invasion by the people of Cameroon. They laid siege on Oyo and kidnapped the beautiful daughter of Orompoto. Oyo army gave chase and after a turtuous journey, they caught up with the ramping army, fought with them and rescued Orompoto's daughter. The place where they caught up with them became acamp of Orompoto's. Let's laff small.😁😁😁 |
azpekuliar:Why do you guys always resort to emotional blackmail? Nawa oooo. |
As an Igbo boy he did not see anything wrong in the statement. same with his tribal people. But in Yoruba, that's an insult. |
You earn it, you don't demand for it. |
*THE NEW NIGERIA ARRIVES IN THE BRAND NEW MONTH! WE ARE MARCHING FORWARD!!!* 1. This election is unlike any other one in the history of Nigeria Democracy. 2. The three leading contestants shared the country equally by winning 12 states each. (Abuja is having a status of a state). 3. No one can claim he is the one that gave victory to the President elect. 4. Despite the Muslim-Muslim ticket, the core Muslim states didn't vote the President elect (he lost Kano, Sokoto, Katsina, Kebbi, Gombe, Kaduna, Adamawa, Taraba and Bauchi). No one has ever lost these states combined and still win Presidential election in Nigeria. 5. The President elect won Ekiti and Benue, the two states considered to be predominantly Christian states in the country, despite the Muslim-Muslim ticket. 6. The President-elect lost Lagos State, his home front, so that Lagosians will not hold him to ransom. 7. The most vociferous supporter of the President-elect from the North, Nasiru El Rufai could not win his State for him. 8. The so-called power of incumbency as the ruling party could not be said to have played any significant role. He lost Katsina, the state of President Muhammadu Buhari. 9. He lost Osun State, making the second state he will loose out of the six states of the South West where he comes from, and the largest concentration of Muslims in the South West. 10. He lost Bayelsa, so that Ex-President Jonathan will not say he delivered hi state for him. 11. No single member of the council of state and ex-generals could be said to support him, yet he won. 12. His campaign Director General could not win Plateau State for him. 13. His Party Chairman could not win Nasarawa State for him. 14. The money politics that characterized all previous election do not play prominence in this election. This victory is not from anyone, but the finger of God. Let all Nigerians come together in unity, Christians, Muslims, Hausa, Yorùbá, Igbo, Ibiobio, Jukun, Angas, Igbira, Dakerkeri, the rich, the poor, the young, the old. It is time to eschew violence and every divisive tendencies, let's build Nigeria that we can all be proud of. Let the winner agree that he is now the best man for the job, he should constitute an all inclusive government of technocrats and cerebrals, and move Nigeria away from tribalism that characterized and destroyed Buhari's government. We wish you good health and sound mind as you face the ardous task of leading Nigeria. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria! ©️🔛©️ Source: copied |

No one wants to farm, no youth wants to join soldier but they want revolution. May God wake una up from daydreaming ![]() |
