Impoverish the people and have them permanently enslaved. This is one strategy Tinubu has used to hold poor lagosians hostage.
Empower these people and you wont see them at Tinubu's gate begging for arms that were stolen from them.
What business is Tinubu into and whose money is he sharing? |

The power interests around Ambode are overbearing
They will probably start taking toll fees on the Ajah 2nd toll gate if Ambo wins.
Beside, if Ambo wins..... the Oba who nominated him has become the governor by proxy.
The Jagaban will be at another end pulling strings. |

Obasanjo is one of Nigeria's biggest headaches.
While Abdulsalam was busy calming frayed nerves across political divides before, during and after the elections. .. Obj was busy whipping sentiments and tension across the nation. Who exactly is a stateman between the two?
Now he wants to be first to benefit from the peaceful transition he never contributed to.
How can APC claim change with OBJ as its pilot? |
Politics › Re: Heavyweights Desert PDP by Flets: 7:52am On Apr 07, 2015*. Modified: 8:28am On Apr 07, 2015 |
They desert PDP and head to APC and immediately assume their roles as change agents.
And the Nigerian masses keep chanting 'change' like these politicians fell from heaven.
The closest we came to change was when GEJ delivered us from the strongholds of the dictatorship of OBJ, IBB and rigged elections.
And we willingly strolled back to the old days. And PDP will soon vanish from the scene and we will be stuck with one party with the same people and without an opposition. We'll be at their mercy.
Obj, Amaechi, Saraki, Ngige, Atiku, Kwankwaso etc were all long time PDP members who wrecked this nation. Today they are well aligned in APC and touting as change agents.
If only Nigerians were a little wiser!!!!. |

His words are always full of grace and optimism.
Nation building is a collective responsibility. So when you find a leader who listens (like GEJ), support him and criticize constructively rather than condemn and push him out.
We must cut our expectations to size and be ready to make sacrifices if required for the common good. |

Politics › Re: I Have Had Enough, Says Jonathan by Flets: 2:36pm On Apr 06, 2015 |
hush15: We all keep saying its the people around him or the people in his government and keep blaming him. Frankly speaking, how is it his fault when he entrust them with the responsibilty of safeguarding the mandate of the Nigerian people and some overzealous heediots misbehave.
I keep saying it. Presidency is never a one man show. Unfortunately, in Nigeria, its not the individual that rules, its the Party and in the next few days when GMB steps in, will we understand all this.
In GEJ's cabinet, there are good guys and there some that just power drunk. While you might say Alison is evil and a thief, what about Segun Aganga who has been doing good in the commernce and trade. If you say FCT Minister Bala is a rogue, what about Agric Minister Akinwunmi's great achievements in the GEJ's cabinet. What bout Jega, our noble Electoral Umpire, GEJ gave him that leverage. He is a member of GEJ's cabinet. Moreso, received undiluted support from the presidency. Amidst all pressure for Jega to resign, he didn't act impulsively. Don't forget when all APC cheiftains went to abuja and marched in protest for the sack of Jega. APC were the first to call for his resignation but all of a sudden wants him to conduct the election and till now, honestly, I suspect a foul play.
So how do you blame Jonathan for the woes of his cabinet. No doubt some people misbehaved at certain point cos it is not everybody GEJ handpicked cos at the end of the day, it is the part that decides or influences most appointment. Now, you may as President, he should been more firm but you should also know that in Politics, the Party is bigger than the President. Even uin normal organisations where you are employed cos you are known with someone influential in the organisation, there is tendencies to misbehave and the MD can only scold you or pretend it never happeded and that's the worst. Anything outside might disturb him and his job.
The point is, its a party thing which resulted in the position they are today. However, it doesn't translate to GEJ not meeting up. He might have kicked against some of this guys but what if the party insisted that they preferred them as they don't trust any other.
APC party are in now, let's see if they will do it differently. Whether it is going to be a buhari decision or party decision, I look forward to how it plays. His choice of cabinet, should be angelic. Whether they are going to be without sin, will be very interesting to know. Whether Party members won't get selfish or greedy, even power crazy as any human would that have that opportunity and maybe Buhari would Jail party members, I am watching in 3D. Well said |

midolian: shaaaraaap abeg...where is the beauty of democracy if after a peaceful election, one ugly thing will begin to threaten the peace of the nation jst because the result of the election doesn't favour him? I am sure if GEJ was declared the winner in the jst concluded election, and a man from the north threatens the peace of the nation jst because Buhari loses, you ll be the first to say to hell with him...
Now Lemme ask u the question "who the hell is Asari Dokubo and why do you feel he deserves to be begged"? Nigeria is sitting on the wrong structure and until that structure is corrected....... northern violence, fulani invasion, bokoharam, ND militancy, biafran agitation, ombatse cults etc will continue to crop up. As evil as these groups and their activities appear, they represent sectional interests in today's Nigeria. Until the individual regions start to feel the direct and sole impact of these as it affects the growth of their regions... they shall be dealt with. Implement true federalism and watch these evil vices disappear permanently. |
