hammer567:If you've ever been to the North or let's say Abuja for instance, you'd know these Arewa guys don't joke with their Hausa language. You can enter a government office in Abuja and all they'd be speaking will be Hausa, no English atal. This is one area I see Yorubas lagging behind seriously.. this language of a thing that our people fail to protect.. I'm proud of my Yoruba identity so I won't allow any blackmail move me. Call me bigot, na you sabi. |
Kennyswag:Might just be that the mom killed his father out of hate.. these things happen. Las las, na the kids dey suffer pass. |
sukkot:Then Yorubas should wake up and start calling our men to order.. if not, asa ati ede wa ma sonu. The Igbo feminist women abi na axe head should look elsewhere for men, not among Yorubas who they end up turning to wrapper while they dictate everything in the home, something they can never try in Igboland and Igbo culture. Their place na inside bedroom and inside kitchen to be frying turkey for Mazis and the men during family meetings. Some of them still drink water used in bathing their dead husbands corpse in Igboland till date. |
That's like a mall na.. where people go to get all sorta things. Don't be surprised that the Nigerians into that business of selling African foods place unreasonable high prices on those food items while the Indians, Chinese and co. the poster of the video is talking about sell at cheaper prices. We sef get our own for body, always in a rush to make money not minding the after effects. |
paxx:I guess you won't mind Peter Obi's kids opening school for kids in Anambra to learn Ibibio abi na Efik he (Obi) go marry.. Go through the thread and you'll find where a NLer pointed it out that the guy mentioned in his documentary that his Igbo mom was always frowning whenever they try to speak Yoruba.. I can confirm this bad habit among Igbo women married to our men because I have witnessed several scenarios like that.. Like why will you go and marry from a tribe you can't stand their language and culture? |
hammer567:Abeg swerve.. I no get your time. |
This one is another Chinedu in the making.. he left his father side (Yoruba) to open school to teach language of his mother side (Igbo) in a Yoruba State (Lagos).. Watch all inter-tribal marriages between Yorubas and Igbos.. if the husband is Yoruba, the wife (Igbo) will make it a duty to teach the kids Igbo language and give them Igbo names in addition to their Yoruba names, then the docile Yoruba men will be there lost and helpless. But let it be Igbo man that married Yoruba woman.. the Igbo man will make sure the kids bear only Igbo names and identify as Igbo. Same thing with Hausas. I don't know why Yorubas are like that.. too dull, docile infact all the words to qualify weak can be ascribed to our men. Shioor! |
Mandate1:Leave that thing.. the Emefiele guy na ole buruku. His gist dey everywhere for Abuja. Very useless and corrupt thief. |
The Eagles team needs to wake up.. if we jam teams like Egypt that play with zeal and passion, na basket we go use pack goals. The knockout stages go tough gan.. no team come AFCON come sell ekpa. |
ternomes:They know democracy will set them free.. with all these useless lawyers we have around. In countries like China and North Korea... Emefiele with his wife and kid would have been publicly executed. death by firing squad on "allegation" of corruption especially for public office holders. Black man and evil intentions. Later, you'll see them carrying Bible upandan like idlots. |
Splashme:Its like you're playing game of "words and opposite" with this your comment. |
He would have influenced the S'Court judgement on Lagos governorship to favour Chinedu which would have caused serious ethnic clashes in ilu Eko.. He would have picked all the service chiefs, CDS, Interior, Defence Ministers and NSA from Anambla..worse still Catholics. The guy should go and face his hero beer business with all the biafra logo. |
Yoruba ma to gbon.. The same people that crucified Kemi Adeosun over NYSC certificate until Buhari was forced to replace her are the ones running coordinated campaigns for Mr. President to reinstate Edu. |
NwokoloOwa:Their offense is that slaves (the black care givers) threw pillow at their master (the old White woman) and didn't treat her with dignity. You go fear allegations na. |
What they did isn't too serious na.. the old White woman was giving them tough time which could be annoying. I even thought they were slapping and beating her. This is why we keep advising Nigerians to think twice before selling off everything in the name of Japa.. |
Egyptians dey play ball. |
Atiku has gone back home (Dubai).. till 2027. Sai anjima. |
successmatters:The capital is better and in fact perfect where it is in Abuja.. Lahos is too congested and can't stand the political 'madness' of capital city. The way they are moving some of the headquarters back to Lagos is good, but not the entire government structure. |
YourKarma:Why are you taking my comment personal?.. you follow for those wey dey kidnap people?? Let them waste anybody caught with human skull or parts in South West.. no crime should be covered or treated with kids glooves. Why we are saying it now is so that your people won't come with their victim mentality and be crying 'they hate us' when hand start to touch una people wey dey the yeye business. |
You won't see ohaneze or whatever they call themselves come out to condemn this.. last time, a couple from their side got arrested over one chance robbery in Abuja, now another Chinaza has been fingered in kidnap activity in same Abuja.. Police will trace those guys and arrest them no matter where they enter. PBAT should pass an executive order of death sentence for kidnappers, if not, these guys won't back down since they know godfathers are there to bail them out. |
He is a great Akokite and we are very proud of him.. he is now one of us in the Unilag Alumni network. |
He needs to change his mentality and move out of his comfort zone.. Growth happens only when you leave your comfort zone. I for one grew up in the West, now in the North and can move to other parts or outside the country at any fvcking time. I have learnt a lot in my life journey never to hold too tight to anything, appreciate the little you have now and hope for better days. No hustle is too small or too dirty as far as it is legit.. I'll salute a tiler or auto mechanic in his oil stained overall over a yahoo boy anyday. There is dignity in labour, let your friend go out and apply for job or betterstill learn a skill. |
This is a wake up call to our people o.. let everyone be on alert because anybody can fall victim to these attacks. |
They should withdraw all police detail from VIPs and put them back in service.. Let the rich cater for their extra security while our service men go back to serving the country. Deploy Intelligence officers from NIA to all parts of the country and allow Military roll out their special forces unit. Insecurity will be a thing of the past. |
The current Management of CBN and Finance Ministry are of world class rating.. I expect the naira to appreciate before third quarter of this year. |
Wishing our Eagles victory.. Ivory Coast no be baby for football. |
The Sarki guy just spoke the mind of the average Northerner.. they'll prefer to keep Tinubu in power than vote for Atiku and Obi ticket. The way so called Obidients have been going about insulting and wishing harm on other tribes will cause Atiku to lose woefully.. Nigerians won't forget Obi's 'this election is a religious war' outburst so quick. |
Tinubu is the right man for Nigeria.. may his days be long. Amen. |
Icesnow:Proceed with caution.. |
poseidon12:Yes we're not much, but still we have those with genuine love for our dear country.. I know someone that the parents took to UK long ago, the lady is back in Nigeria now working and living fine. I'm sure she left some of her people there in the UK. |

For real? If true, then you are among just a handful.
