The CBN governor took the initiative to relocate part of the CBN departments (not all) to Lagos. Like the Offices in CBN Supervising banks were moved. How will you be in Abuja and claim to be supervising banks in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo and likes in South?.
It's just common sense to move the supervisory wing of CBN from Abuja to Lagos to avoid dangers of road travelling every now and then and to cut costs. Why are Northerners so happy with wastefulness?
