Nanorest:Nobody is painting UK as a bad place my friend.. what we are telling stubborn ones like you is that there are no automatic jobs in UK when they decide to sell off everything and relocate there. Those that have first hand experiences about the situation of things over there are posting it on this forum but ignoramuses like you keep saying otherwise so others can continue falling into traps and suicide inducing regrets.. I've come to realize that it's either people like you are working as UK travel agents or the ones processing admission for Nigerians to go study abroad. You talk of one company Amazon as if the company will employ all the over hundred thousand Nigerians running to UK |
You're talking of odd jobs that most UK citizens will refuse to do.. that's like artisan jobs back home in Nigeria. If you expect a highly skilled person to be happy doing those unbefitting jobs, then you ain't wise. The problem first with most of you is INFERIORITY COMPLEX.. you feel you're less important than the White skinned man, so you see nothing bad in putting your education aside to be serving them likes slaves in order to earn pounds. Even when things were still good in the early 90s', not all Nigerians in the UK could get decent jobs talk more of now when there is Job scarcity everywhere. Go on Linkedin and see how oyibos package their CVs looking for jobs whereas some of you in Nigeria feel jobs are littered everywhere abroad waiting for you to come and pick up employment letter. Keep deceiving yourself and other naive ones like you. |
The government should encourage people to use public buses like the CNG ones instead of congesting the roads with plenty private cars.. just like they do in the UK, you have trains, buses so no need to be driving long distances just to prove a point that you're a big man or woman. Moreover, the supply of CNG has to meet up with the demand.. as you want to release 1 million buses, you should make provisions for CNG fuel stations across the coumtry so users of CNG vehicles can refill when they run out of fuel. Do we need to talk about gas volatility?.. CNG is far more dangerous than petrol with high flashpoint.. CNG is gas and will easily explode when heat of the surrounding is high or when someone mistakenly use lighter or matches close to where the CNG is being dispensed. The government should please factor in these things and educate the illiterates that might see CNG as a means to make money. You must train all your attendants very very well on safe handling of the gas if not, your investment and lives of many Nigerians might be at stake. |
It has nothing to do with him supporting Tinubu.. stop being myopic. Every citizen has the right to vote and be voted for as enshrined in the constitution of Nigeria.. you Obi supporters should stop acting like toddlers. This is the kind of matter NLC and Ministry of Labour should be getting involved in, but No, it's only Aso Villa mattes they are interested in where they will get palliatives and make connections. Those employers maltreating their staff will meet their waterloo soon. |
Wahala in the Japa route.. Immigrants are fleeing Canada to the US when US citizens are tired of the country out of fear of incessant gun violence and rising costs of commodities. UK is no go area as muslumis are now advancing their jihad in the free world.. soon amputee sharia victims will be the ones returning to Nigeria when they get tired of running around. I'd rather be trapped in Nigeria than get trapped in far away lands not knowing what next might pop up. |
Kilode?.. why dem wan spoil the guy fine boy na? |
Never be afraid to walk away from a toxic relationship or marriage.. don't wait till it's too late when people will be doing candle light in your remembrance.. No man deserves verbal abuse from any woman no matter the situation.. why can't she go out there and work for money, let her see if it's easy. @OP you better give her space. |
There is a systematic brain drain going on in Nigeria.. multinationals job offers and scholarship offers to study abroad are means used to lure bright Nigerians away from the country. Government can still rectify this by retaining the best brains coming out from our institutions now.. no hope getting the older ones that have gone to come back. |
PBAT is a true leader.. Fubara went to Aso Villa and was all over the place smiling meaning they were able to reach a compromise for peace to reign in Rivers State. The only people that have refused to align with the government of the day are the Obidients, hate is a very bad thing. |
maivd:Nope Unilag is not overhyped.. infact, the institution lives up to its reputation and motto "in deed and in truth". You can't graduate from Unilag without having something upstairs.. the calibre of lecturers in Unilag will humble you. While I was in the Faculty of Engineering, our Dean of Faculty was exceptional, a Prof. par excellence (heard he is now late).. We had other gurus like Prof. Mowete in Electrical and so many others, too numerous to mention.. who you wan raise shoulder for na? There is one particular Don that taught me GEG 101, Engineering Mathematics in my first year who was working with NASA then.. Public Universities are still the best till tomorrow. Don't let anyone deceive you, there are only two Universities in Nigeria... UNILAG and others. It's not just called the Uni. of First Choice for fun.. you gatz ace your JAMB and compete with over 80,000 candidates from across the country for 6,000 admission slots. It's the best of the best brains you'll meet on campus when you finally enter. |
All these guys crying all over the place over FBI records and whatnot are violating the President's privacy rights.. guess when one is an illiterate, he/she doesn't know left from right.. |
I was telling one guy here the other day that Naira will appreciate.. didn't know it would be this fast rho. Signs of more good things to come.. Godspeed to President Tinubu.. Nigeria shall rise again. |
See my alma mater o.. I get spot for that Lagoon front where I dey go read for evenings those days. The German Chancellor is really having a good time in Nigeria. |
ResourceMan:He didn't even shake or pause for a moment and his people were solidly behind him.. the Police officers no try atal, attacking a sitting Governor of a State in such manner is an aberration and they must apologize. Whoever is pulling the strings behind the curtains should better calm down and reassess the situation. |
revolt:There are scenarios.. they might have been lovers right from secondary school days till the lady decided to join Military service. 2. One or both party might tick all the boxes and are happy together. It's the discipline for me.. soldiers are more principled in life than most civilians. |
Morale boosting.. na female soldiers I wan dey friend from now on. |
mancoconut:Winter is coming.. Dey there dey make mouth. |
The Fubara I saw in today's clip walking towards direction of gunshots and Police teargas no come play o.. Niger Deltans dey get liver diee. |
As who na?.. you be God?? Baba tell us.. who you be? |
This coming Imo election go hot o.. like say make I go the State for political runs small .Na joke I dey o. |
Arapmoi22:Don't mind the man.. Someone that ran away during Military junta of Abacha, only to return when Abacha invited him to come back home and become his ally in exchange for governorship ticket in Adamawa is forming voltron now. Nigeria MUST and WILL work no matter who says what.. the younger generation MUST see to this. |
Atiku will be put to shame.. Nigeria will turn around for good during his lifetime. How I wish the President can revisit the Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) one of Atiku's former asociate exposed which he (Atiku) himself confessed to in a leaked audio tape. God really heard the prayers of Nigerians by not making Atiku win that 2023 election.. the damage he'd have caused this country would be too much. You were put in charge of Power sector reforms but instead of bringing investments in the Power sector, you went to bring generator company Mikano to come and supply us power.. How on earth will a man think that way?. Today, generators have flooded the entire country and public power suppy system is in a very poor state. Billions of dollars budgeted to fix the power sector unaccounted for. Should we even talk of the estates same man allegedly has in Dubai?.. took Nigeria's wealth to go and build luxuries in Dubai while he grants press conference to rubbish patriotic Nigerians and Nigerian institutions simply because he lost elections. It's a shame the man is behaving in the manner he is, denigrating Nigeria and her public institutions over election loss. Shame!! |
Sadiqi don drop quotes.. I believe he can rest now. Nigeria is bigger than Atiku, not the other way round.. Atiku must not be the one to rule for Nigeria to move forward so he should go and rest. |
When Oyibo people wan get sense?.. don't they see how Isrealis are rough handling them? Muslims no like peace and are always looking for means to be dominant everywhere they go. In the workplace, society everywhere, it's obvious. |
Oh Mr. Governor, we are scared to death.. Ki iku pa iya yin. If not for politics they are playing with insurgency up North, who born those urchins well to make noise where our Military dey?. Las las, the fo0lishness of Northern elites as regards insurgency will be their undoing. They are forgetting the fact that they won't be around forever and this monster they are feeding and nuturing under their roof will end up consuming their generations. |
@OP Update us.. hope you guys are safe. It's part of those things when travelling by road. I don stay inside bush for Osun when luxurious bus break down that year. I won't mention the transport company, they were able to get mechanic in the morning to fix the bus. Just stay safe out there. |
@OP You just have to exercise patience with your sister.. I'll advise you take up side job that will keep you engaged and out a bit late.. You can even look for somewhere to learn a skill e.g. phone repairs, electronics, barbing etc. something you have passion for. If it's food you like to cook, learn cooking as you might one day find yourself in the hospitality or catering industry. For the house part, I doubt you can afford house in berger/ wuse axis.. house rent in those places choke. Infact house rent in Abuja generally now is on the high side. You'd need to have like 600k to 1 million naira to get a good place with meter and everything. You can consider areas like Dutse-Alhaji, Kubwa, Dei-Dei or if it's Lugbe area, places like FHA, around Police signboard and environs. |
If you're doing fine in Nigeria, gainfully employed and can eat three square meals a day, you have no business going to the UK.. keep your millions and invest, become an employer of labor instead of going to kiss White people's feets abroad. The UK- born Nigerians who are citizens aren't finding things funny talk more of you trying to escape your country. Think am well before you Japa make you no go end up in regrets where you have no family or relatives to cry to. |
So far a Yoruba man is your president and our choice candidate Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu got re-elected in Lagos, no problems.. We will deal with our internal politics and get our acts right before the next general elections in 2027. No ethno-religious bigot will get the chance to use dubious means and campaign of calumny to acquire votes from our people. Election is not religious war! |
triplo3:Multinationals that have made enough money exploiting Africa are the ones leaving.. just like P&ID, most of them don't mean well for black people. With that 13 million the poster wasted, having nothing tangible to show for it.. he can set up multiple streams of income in food business, fish farming, poultry, cassava farming etc. and he'll make good money. Most industries are buying cassava and other cash crops like wheat at good price for use in their industrial processes. Ok now, he paid 13 million just to enter UK.. no job, no investment to bring returns, nothing. In the end he'll likely get offer to be cleaning shlt of sick Oyibo parents.. Na life be that one? |
Your cup of tea... noone cares. |
Na Mr. Sadiqi carry second position. |
