@ Lawyer, This is a pathetic one. I had an encounter with a landlord but I thank God I was able to get my money back. The shop is in Ogba and I got it through an agent. The shop had not been completed as the landlord said he didn't have enough money to complete it. He said If I was interested in it, I should pay that they would complete it in 2 weeks. The agent said he'll monitor it so I paid for 2 years. I went to inspect the place in one week and found out that work was in progress. I got a call from the agent the following week to come, I thought the place was completed all for me to get there and the landord said they would like to refund my money. The place had now become attractive to them then they gave it out to another person at a higher price. I collected my money and bade them goodbye. It was later on that I heard from their neighbours that a man had paid for the place and they couldn't refund his money because they had spent it, so they collected mine to pay him. |

@ Atilla, Abeg let it fly I bought it for 11.55 ohhh!!!!! |
@ Lawyer Thank you very much. |
@ Lawyer I got a shop in Ogba but the agent said I would pay 20% agency, 20% legal and 10% caution fee. I know of 10% not 20% is there a foul play here? Also is the caution fee compulsory as they normally don't return the caution deposit after the expiry of the tenancy agreement. Thanks |
@ Goldincome Am not an agent, I am looking for a shop too. Do you like Ogba? I went to check out a place there on saturday, there are 2 shops one for 120 and the other for 150. The size is okay for a standard shop. It will be a good location for a mini office I prefer inside a market that was why I didn't take it. If you are interested give me a call on 08035849124 |
@ Desse How are you today? Thanks for your time the other day. Hope you've not forgotten to watch out for another place for me. Have a wonderful weekend. |
@Amakaone I don't know most of these things you listed. Will those market women know it or do they have different names for the different dialect? |

@victor4u Have you seen your offer letter? The salary and breakdown is there so why give up before you get it. People will just speculate but when you get it, you can now decide if its okay for you. Cheers |
