graluxxy054: I don't know y people like creating problems for themselves. I don't know y people like involving themselves in things that does not concern them? Leave God and pastors matter alone before you incur Gods wrath upon yourself. Don't add or subtract anything to/from the Bible. I've read my Bible and I've not seen where God instructed us to give our offerings and tithes to the poor. If u want to give to the poor, do it the right way and at the right time. Stop twisting Gods word to suit yourself and situation!

If you're in d league of those that tell people things that are not in d Bible, desist from it now cos God will hold u responsible for every soul you mislead
I think the Bible you read must have been written by a native doctor, if not you would have find the verses supporting the arguments of the OP in both the old and new testaments.

Damex333: Am not a bible scholar but of my own God given knowledge. The israelites were instructed to give the levites tithes cos the levites were the only tribe that was give the Job of taking care of the temple, and the box of testimony, they were only given that work no other work for them, they weren't asked to till the ground, so i think we should give our tithes to the church, but d bible says "whosoever doesn't say his/her tithes is robbing God." this is not telling not to help the needy, aren't the children of israel helping the needy? But they still give their tithe. So, we shouldn't mix vivid together wit offerings to the needy. U can always give to the needy as u ape empowered to give, but definately not from ur tithe.
That was in the old testament when Judaism held sway and not in the new testament where Christianity started. Please stop reading your Bible from Revelation to Genesis. The Bible starts in Genesis and ends in Revelation, if you read it in that order you'll reslize that old things have passed away and all things have become new. Knowledge is power.

alexleo: I dont give tithe because church said, but because its in the bible. Also I have the spirit of God and he has NEVER told me that i should not give my tithe. I dont need any frosbel or whosoever to give me any crap about tithe and offering. This is why every child of God must continually seek the Holy Spirit to dwell in him because he will guide you into all truth. Away with frosbel and his cohorts and their NONSENSE teachings. I pity those they deceive.
Quote a bible verse from the New Testament to butress your point. At least, Frosbel and his cohorts have shown us with relevant new testament verses what TITHING is all about according to the Bible.

kisibo: ..i will like to know if its the best to drive with OD on / off .
Man! your thread has just helped me solve a puzzle.

I saw the "O/D OFF" indicator come on in my wife's Nissan Almera Tino and I was like whats even wrong with this car that came clean without one single issue barely a month ago. I never knew that she had somehow disengaged the Over Drive. I have actually been struggling to turn off the indicator (see mumu. LOL!!!), until I saw your thread this morning and went to check the car only to find out that she had disengaged the Over Drive. Thanks for starting this thread. I have really benefited from it. Thanks once again.

Now to your query,
I think its better to leave it in the engaged or ON mode (as it is in the Nissan Almera Tino) since that seems to be the default mode in the car but if otherwise, then turn it off. Your indicator or instrument cluster is not suppose to show anything by default while driving except there is a problem or you turn on some accessories.

FBN all the way.

For those calling GTB and Zenith, its like you are still living in the past.

FBN is the ish. For cutting edge technology in the banking industry in Naija, FBN has taken the lead. It used to be GTB, but not any more. For me, Zenith is just an overhyped bank thriving on the premise of class distinction which ain't worth shyt as their processes and procedures are archaic. As for Diamond Bank, they want to act like the I-pad of the banking industry, refusing to interface with other banks as if its possible for one to know it all, have it all and do it all.

I know these much, because I transact with these banks on a regular basis.

Car TalkBMW Recalls; Are You Affected? by FlyboyZee(op): 1:29pm On Feb 18, 2013
BMW recalls almost 570,000 cars to repair battery cable problem that can cause engine stalling as reported by The Associated Press

DETROIT - BMW is recalling almost 570,000 cars in the U.S. and Canada because a battery cable connector can fail and cause the engines to stall.

The recall affects the popular 3-Series sedans, wagons, convertibles and coupes from the 2007 through 2011 model years. Also included are 1-Series coupes and convertibles from 2008 through 2012, and the Z4 sports car from 2009 through 2011.

The cable connectors and a fuse box terminal in the cars can degrade over time, and that can break the electrical connection between the trunk-mounted battery and the fuse box at the front. If that happens, the cars could lose electrical power, causing the engines to stall unexpectedly, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said in documents posted on its website Saturday.

The company says in documents sent to the NHTSA that the problem stems from movement between the battery cable and the fuse box.

BMW says it knows of one minor collision in Canada due to the problem, but no injuries.

The German automaker says dealers will replace the battery cable connector and secure it without charge. It will start notifying owners in March.

The 3-Series is BMW's most popular car in the U.S., dominating the small luxury car market. The company sold nearly 100,000 of them in the U.S. last year.

The recall affects more than 504,000 cars in the U.S. and another 65,000 in Canada.

BMW, Toyota and other automakers have experienced large recalls in recent years because they use common parts on multiple models in order to save money.

Owners can call BMW with questions at (800) 525-7417.

Abeg Lagos to Yenagoa bus fare is just 3500 by road. Why not visit on a weekend and notice how long you get to spend on the Tombia Junction hold-up instead of talking based on assumptions.

Omo_Tier1: In your thinking you have made a contribution to the discussion undecided Chei! My Niger delta people... Time don leave una behind cry
What is your own contribution? I guess you don't even know which road leads to Bayelsa from wherever you live, yet, the first thing you do online is to challenge anything that you myopically don't know anything about. I'm a Bayelsan, working in and around Bayelsa, but resident in Yenagoa, so I know what we Bayelsans want and need at this time. Its better you take that your silly shittty piece of advice to your own state G'vnor & leave us in Bayelsa alone with our G'vnor and our Flyovers. We in Yenagoa aren't complaining. So please, Get the F**K off.

joe4christ2008: i was thinking this project will be connecting interior villages like all those in southern Ijaw and others, but its so surprising that its just yenagoa.
Governor, what about the roads/brideges to connect those interior villages to the state capital?
Why are some people kept in isolation? Is it that they are not Bayelsans?

Please look deep into Bayelsa and lets have a lasting answer and solution.
FYI, immediately HSD was sworn in as G'vnor, the first thing he did was to reactivate and re-award contracts for those roads leading to the rural arrears in the three senatorial zones in the state. One was awarded to Julius Berger PLC, another to CCECC and the third one to one Dantata & Sawoe. So now Mr. whats your beef with the Gov. Fashola is working, right? I was in Badagry in the first week of December, 2012 and was miffed by what I saw. There was actually no development going on there. Let ask. Is Badagry not a part of Lagos? No wonder Jesus said, we refuse to remove the logs in our eyes, but yet we complain of the specks in other people's eyes. More over, so people in Yenagoa, which is the hub of government, social, economic and political activities in the state should suffer from traffic gridlocks and waste valuable man hours in traffic while there are roads that nobody plies to the rural arrears. Is that your thinking?

ochukoccna: And to think AIT has flooded the airwaves with 'Dickson is working' propaganda of recent![if those even exist] embarassed embarassed
What then would you say of G'vnors Amaechi and Rochas who practically live on AIT.

ochukoccna: One would have thought he would seek to create flood barriers and expand flood channels [if those even exist]
That he would mandate a team to go learn from the Dutch and other countries which are under sea level
But hey, what else do you expect, when one has fish oil in lieu of brain cells? embarassed embarassed
This flood that happened in 2012 affected a lot of state and not Bayelsa alone. FYI, Lagos remains the State in Naija with the lowest elevation. It rains very hard in Bayelsa all year round, yet there are no floods until last year's disaster. How many of those things you recommenede has the Lagos State G'ment put in place. More over such projects don't come cheap.

blink182: When the clueless governs, such stories make head lines.
What has been your contribution to your immediate community, not to talk of your Local Government or State, Mr. Clues.

bankoleben: This is what can be best described as a misplacement of priority! The State government came up with the idea of 'Hero's Park' the other time simply because there are no accessible roads to Azazi's village the other time, instead of rising up to its responsibility Dickson is more concerned about adding 'aesthetics' to Yenagoa.
Visit those places mentioned in Yenagoa and come back and make a comment. I'm waiting for your comment.
PoliticsRe: Bayelsa Embarks On N15.6 Billion Flyover Projects by FlyboyZee:
Well! I have read all your comments above and realized y'all don't even know Yenagoa. I'm a motorist who lives in Yenagoa. The G'vnor might have used the wrong word "AESTHETICS" but that does not mean that we don't need such infrastructures in Yenagoa. Since the ban on Okada was implemented in August last year, there has been an unprecedented increase in motor vehicles in Yenagoa which has also generated serious unprecedented traffic snarls in those areas mentioned. Most especially, the traffic hold up around that Tombia roundabout has become suddenly terrible that motorists now take one way (drive against traffic on the other lane) during such snarls & this happens on a daily basis. Although, of course, the cost might be astronomical high which we all must agree, but those bridges are a necessity.

So if you don't live in Yenagoa and don't know what the current traffic situation in Yenagoa is right now, just STFU and leave us to develop our state the way it pleases us. SMH for all o' ya.

Car TalkRe: American Spec And Regular Japanese Spec Of Honda And Toyota, which Is Better? by FlyboyZee: 9:56pm On Feb 15, 2013
American cars are more spacious in the interior, more rugged, stronger in terms of build quality, have bigger engines (preferably V6 & bigger engines), more safety conscious, heavier in terms of weight, more luxurious and upscale. They also have a lot of conveniences and effizy loke leather seats, alloyed or chromed rims, bigger rims, wide & flatlike (sportslike) tyres, etc, they are also usually posh bearing external trimmins like paddings, chromelines & handles, etc. Americans also prefer cars with automatic transmissions than manual. Top trim American models do usually come with sun/moon roof, fog lamps, heated/perforated leather seats, chrome door handles, etc (what we call full option in Naija).

While Japanese & European cars are more or less basic compared to their American specs. They are mostly come with manual transmission, fabric seats, compact body, smaller engines with higher fuel economy, steel wheels, plastic or body coloured door handles, etc. The Europeans & Japanese generally prefer anything that can just moved them around, thats why they have a lot of small cars like the Mini, Nissan Sunny, Nissan Almera, Suzuki Alto, Hyundai Accent, etc.
Car TalkRe: What Oil Do I Use For These Cars by FlyboyZee:
ONWARDBABA: HONDA CRV 2001
THE KIND OF GEAR OIL
AND ATF
ALSO ENGINE OIL
The oil required to service it is usually written on the cap of the top cylinder where you pour in the oil. If its not written there, I know most Honda and Acura cars specify the use of synthetic engine oil rated as 5w20. However, this oil is not commonly found in Nigeria. So you cam make do with any synthetic oil rated between 5w20 to 5w40. I specifically use "'Total Quartz 9000' rated 5w40". The 5l goes for about N8000.00.

Honda usually recommend the use of Honda Z1 ATF, they however suggest you use a Dexron III ATF if you can't find the Z1.

ATF is same as Gear Oil. If you are however refering to the Brake fluid, I think a dot 4 graded brake fluid should be your best bet.

I hope this helps, though am no expert, just a stickler for knowledge.
